Next day:

It was 5 in evening when Nandini was watering the flowers in the garden of orphanage bt her mind was again nd again going to only one thought i.e.,Manik...

Nandini pov:

Aaiyappa meine unke saath jaane se haan karke koi galti toh nahi kar di...should i go with him...what iff he is also lyk others....what iff he will also hurt me...no no no...no aaiyappa i cant go...i cant go wid him...mein nahi jaungi unke saath....

Thinking this she went into her room nd sat on bed when her eyes fall on the box having the dress nd though her mind rejected bt her hands automatically went to that dress nd she slowly took it nd looked it only to get lost in that dress...

Nandini:*self-thought*aaiyappa kya karu??jaaun??agar nahin gai toh unhe bura lagega...aur mother ne bhi bola tha that i can trust him...he is trustworthy...i think i should goo...

She was thinking when mother came there nd said-

Mother:*caressing her hair*what happen my child??

Nandini:*smiling faintly*mother it is manik's friend's bday nd he asked me to accompany him...should i go there??

Mother:*smiles genuinely*u know we meet many wrong persons in our lyf to get to that one right person who is our happiness...i know the past u carry is not that easy to forget bt trust me my child this tym u r not making any mistake...manik is very caring person as a friend and i can see that in him....give him a try...may b this tym u r going to the r8 direction...

Nandini:*nodding in yss while thinking*i hope mother i m trusting r8 person bcoz if noo then i wont b able to survive more...

Mother:pecking her forehead lightly*may jesus grant ur all happiness my child...

Saying this she left from there leaving nandini behind with tons of thoughts...

It was 6 when nandini finally decide to go with her heart nd went to get ready...she got ready by 6:30 in a beautiful off-white anarkali suit with peach pink dupatta giving her an authentic look which was sent by manik....she matched it with beautiful green studded jhumkas...she then applied kohl nd nude pink lipstick before slipping into baby pink flats looking eternally beautiful...

The one thing abt manik that gain nandini's trust was that he thought of her comfort nd thus send her decent dress in which she would b comfortable which made her think that may b he is trustworthy person...

Nandini looked at the watch to see it Striking 6:50 nd soo decided to clean up her room in meanwhile nd she started to arrange her room...

At 7:05 manik's car halted in front of orphanage nd he came out in casual off-white shirt nd blue ripped jeans co-ordinating with nandini's outfit...

He came out of car nd adjust his hairs blushingly before heading inside the orphanage towards nandini's room...

He reached outside her room nd peeped in through open door to see her looking beautiful like a fairy in the dress sent by him taking him offguards...

Nandini turn around adjusting the side table only to meet manik's loving eyes which made her look down biting her lips while here looking at her rigid composure,manik came out of lala land nd cleared his throat gaining her attention...

Manik:*clearing his throat*ahem-ahem...umm r u ready??

Nandini while looking down nodded slightly...

Manik:*smiles*ok then can we leave...

Saying this he forward his right palm in front of her gently while nandini looked up at him before sliding her left palm hesitatingly in his right one making him smile fully...

Manan then came to mother's cabin to inform her abt their departure which she happily granted nd soon manan were standing outside manik's car...

Manik open passenger seat door for nandini nd carefully made her sit inside...he was closing the door when he noticed her dupatta hanging nd soo he bent a little nd took her dupatta before keeping it properly in her lap nd soon jogged towards driver seat...

His this little act gained him a little more respect in nandini's heart making her beleive in him little more...

Seeing her lost in thought manik said-

Manik:*slowly*nandini...

Nandini looked up at him frowning when he continued-

Manik:*pointing at seat belt*seat belt...

Nandini looked at seat belt before nodding in yss nd tried to tie the seat belt bt failed measerably nd soo manik asked-

Manik:can i help u??

Nandini hesitstingly nodded nd soo manik came forward nd tied the seat belt maintaining the decent distance not to make her umcomfortable...

Soon they were on the busy roads of mumbai where the ride was in silence bt a comfortable one with mild music in background...nandini was looking out of the window leaning to its panel enjoying the chill wind while manik was taking glances of the beautiful angel sitting beside him...

In noo tym manan reached the destination nd manik said-

Manik:we r here...

Nandini nodded before getting out of car followed by manik who passed his keys for valet parking...

Nandini:*looking around*hum kahan hai??

Manik:*smiles at her*this is the best hotel in mumbai...actually my friend has thrown her wife's bday party here...come...

Nandini smiled a little before accompaning him inside the banquet hall passing through reception...

Cabir:loo yeh aa gaya...

All looked at entrance to see manik coming with a beautiful girl who already took many hearts of the handsome bachlors standing there in party...

As cabir is also CEO of malhotra industries,many of their clients were there in the party along with famous designers from mukti nd aaliya's client list also...

Aaliya:*excitedly*dont tell me she is the girl who took manik's heart...

Mukti:iiii..thinkkkk soooo.....

Aaliya:*gushing*gosh she is jst like manik described...like a fragile doll...

Cabir:guys u carry on till then mein unhe yahan lekar aata hoon...

Saying this cabir nd navya went towards manan nd soon manik engulfed cabir in his arms followed by navya...

Cabir nd navya then passed a gentle smile to nandini which she responded equally...

Navya:manik hume bhi toh introduce karvao isse...

Cabir:umm lets go there...sab wait kar rahe hai...wahin par introduction bhi hoo jaayega...

Navya nodded while manik said-

Manik:*to nandini*come let me introduce u to my friends...

Nandini nodded with little smile before following them...

Dhruv:*hugging manik*hii buddy...

Manik:*hugging back*hii...

Manik then greeted mukliya followed by abhi nd little devils...

Manik:guys meet her..she is nandini aur nandini yeh mere friends hai...*pointing at each*mukti,aalia,dhruv,abhi,cabir nd navya jiska aaj bday hai...aur yeh rudra hai dhruv nd aaliya's son nd this is mishit,abhi nd mukti's son...

Nandini:*smiles little nd whispers*hii...

Navya:*taking her in a hug startling her*tumhe pata hai manik ne jab hume bataya tumhare baare mein tabse hume tumse milna tha aur sach mein aaj hum tumse milkar bahut khush hai...

Aalia:yss nandini u r jst same as manik described simple yet beautiful...

Nandini:*smiling genuinely*thank u...

Mukti:come onn nandini...friendship mein noo thanks nd noo sry...soo chill...

Nandini:*passing a wrapped gift to navya*this is for u...

Navya:*smiling at her*iski kya zarurat thi nandini...

Cabir:haan it is not needed...

Nandini:*smiles faintly*meri amma ne kaha tha that we should never go empty hand at anyone's place on our first visit aur aaj toh aapka bday bhi hai...plzz le lijiye...

Navya:*taking the gift nd hugging her*thank u soo much..

Nandini smiles at her nd mukti said-

Mukti:*excitedly*navya gift open karnaa...i want to see..

Navya nodded nd open the gift only to smile fully whereas nandini said-

Nandini:this harmony chime ball pendant will keep u nd ur baby away from evil eyes...this will keep u both safe from evils...

Navya:*smiling fully with teary eyes*thank u soo much nandini for thinking for me nd my baby...u know u r really beautiful not only outside bt inside too...

Nandini smiles at her gently while all started adoring the pendant...

Cabir:navya i guess hume cake cut karni chahiye..

Navya nodded nd soon all were gathered in the hall with a braitiful cake which navya immediately cut nd feed first to cabir followed by other friends...

It was 10 when party was over nd all had dispersed leaving fab5 alongwith navya,abhi nandini nd little kids...

Mukti:aaj bahut mazaa aaya guys...

Aaliya:hmm enjoyed a lot yrr...

Cabir:nandini u enjoyed naa??

Nandini nodded slightly with smile making others also smile...all were trying their best to make nandini comfortable around them nd were succeed also to some extent....

Navya:waise nandini hum sab ko apne baare mein bhi kuch batao naa...

Nandini immediately become rigid alerting manik abt her discomfort nd he said covering up...

Manik:umm guys i guess we should leave now...mujhe nandini ko drop bhi karna hai orphanage...

Aaliya:*nodding in understanding*ok bt Nandini u have to promise that u will again come soon to meet us...u know i toh really enjoyed ur company...

Nandini jst smiled at them before getting out of hotel with manik nd soon they were on their way back to orphanage...

Manik looked at her nd said-

Manik:want to have an ice cream wid me??

Nandini:*frown* abhi??itna late??

Manik:haan yahan ek ice cream parlour hai that remains open till late night...if u r not tired then we can go there...

Nandini thought for a minute before nodding her head slowly in yss while getting positive reply,manik turned the wheels towards ice-cream parlour...

Ice-cream parlour:

Manik:konsa flavour??

Nandini:mango...

Manik nodded nd went to give order for their ice creams nd soon joined nandini with respective ice creams...

Manik:soo did u like my friends??

Nandini:*taking a bite*they r really gud...i like them...

Manik:nd they also like u...

Nandini smile at him slightly..after few minutes manik said-

Manik:i know nandini that tumhari lyf mein aisa kuch hua hai that has made u this much introvert bt i jst want u to know one thing that whenever u need a friend to hear u,i will always b there for u,to listen u nd to solve ur problems nd i mean it...

Nandini:*sincerely*y do u care for a girl lyk me who has nothing...

Manik:*looking directly in her eyes*who said u dont have anything...rather u have a beautiful heart nd smile which can heal anyone...trust me...

Nandini:*with teary eyes*meine hamesha jis par bhi yakeen kiya unn sab ne mera yakeen itni buri tarah se toda hai k abb darr lagta hai kissi par bhi trust karne se...

Manik:*biting his lips*i dont know k kya hua hai tumhare past mein bt the only thing i can say is that ek aakhri baar yakeen kar loo..mujh par...i promise mein kabhi tumhara trust nahi tutne dunga...

Nandini:*nodding in no*itnaa aasan nahi hai jitna aapko lagta hai...mera ateet mera past bahut bura hai manik...

Manik:ek baar share karke dekho...i m sure i will b able to help u out...

Nandini:*suddenly getting rigid*plzz mujhe wapas orphanage chod dijiye...

Manik:*frown*lekin-

Nandini:*pleadingly*plzz....

Manik knowing that pushing her more will lead to crack in their new forming relation,didnt argue further nd soon paying the bill,both were riding towards the orphanage bt this tym with an awkward silence nd lots of confused questions in their hearts...

Manik halted his car in front of orphanage nd came out nd opened door for nandini before following her inside the orphanage while nandini said-

Nandini:i will go by my own from here..

Manik:tum mere saath aai thi aur tum meri zimmedari hoo...u r my responsibility soo i will go only after making sure that u reached safely inside the orphanage...

Finding some kind of sincerity in his eyes nandini didnt argued further rather allowed manik to drop her till her room...

Once dropping her safely till her room,manik headed back to his home with little upset heart nd many questions abt her past...

Manik's room:

Manik:*looking up at ceiling while lying on his bed*aisa kya hua hai nandini tumhare saath that has broken u to this extent..i have to find the reason behind ur this hesitations....

Nandini's room:

Nandini:*lying on bed*nahi aaiyappa mein unko apne ateet mein nahi kheench sakti...i cant tell him the reason behind me being lyk this...i m sure after knowing my past he will also leave me lyk others...isse accha hai mein hi unse durr rahoon...i cant let him affect me...i will stay away from him...aams sahi bolti thi i dont deserve happiness...mere aas paas joh bhi rahega usse bss takleef hi milegi...i cant risk his lyf...i cant aaiyappa..i cant...
