Next morning:

Nandini woke up at 4 in morning nd first thing came into her mind was manik...

Nandini:*frown*aaiyappa yeh kyaa hoo raha hai??mein unke baare mein kyu soch rahi hoon!!!nahi..mein phirse kisi k upar bhi aisi hi yakeen nahi kar sakti...noo mujhe unse dur rehna hai...haan...mujhe unse dur rehna hai...

Thinking this she closed her eyes sighingly unknown to the fact that destiny has already made their pair in heaven...She got up nd did her daily chores starting her day....

While here manik woke up at 6:00 nd went for his jogging till 7:00 followed by gym till 8 nd then went to get fresh nd got ready by 9:30...

He came down for breakfast to see nyonika already waiting for him...

Manik:*sitting on his chair*good morning mom...

Nyonika:*passing his juice*good morning...toh kaisa raha kal sab??mujhe cabir ne bataya k nandini bhi aai thi...

Manik:*smilingly sipping juice*everything was gud mom...

Nyonika:*curiously*comfortable thi naa woh tere saath??usne tujhse baat ki??kuch kaha usne??*excitedly*tune usse bataya k tu usse lyk karta hai??

Manik:*nodding his head in disbeleif*kyaa maa...usse mere saath thik se comfortable toh hone doo...agar abhi usse bata diya naa toh baat ban-ne se pehle hi bhaag jaayegi woh...

Nyonika:*making bad face*toh kya karu mein??*pouting*mujhe bhi koi chahiye joh thodi der mere saath bethe...mujhse baatein kare...tu toh chala jaata hai office aur phir pura din mein iss bade se ghar mein bore hoo jaati hoon...abb toh log bhi puchte hai k tere saare doston k bache aa gaye hai...tu kab ghodi chadega aur kab baap banega...aur mein unse kya kahu??k abhi tak mere bete ko ladki hi nahi milli??

Manik:*cringing his brows*maa aap kaha ki baat kaha lekar jaa rahe hoo...

Nyonika:*in final tone*mein kuch nahi jaanti...yaa toh tu jald se jald usse apni dil ki baat bata de aur iss ghar ki bahu banakar lekar aa yaa phir mein khud jaake usse bata dungi k tu usse pyaar karta hai...bss...

Nd the look on manik's face was worth watching...

Manik:*said in disbeleif*mom aap aisa kuch nahi karengi..ok??

Nyonika:*shrugging her shoulder*try me...

Manik:*whinned*momm...

Nyonika:*sigh*thik hai...mein aisa kuch nahi karungi lekinnnn....tu mujhse promise kar k tu jald se jald usse apne dil ki baat bata dega....*lovingly*manik hum chahe kitne bhi kamyaab kyu naa hoo jaaye lekin at the end of the day we need our family only...tu samaj raha hai naa mere bache??

Manik:*nodding in yss*yss mom....*getting up*achaa mom mein chalta hoon...

Nyonika nodded nd soon manik left for his office while nyonika got engrossed in her works...

Malhotra Industries:

Manik was engrossed in checking file when cabir barged inn startling him...

Manik:*gritting his teeth*pagal hai kya?aise koi aata hai??

Cabir:*smirking while sitting on opposite chair*kyu tu kuch private kaam kar raha tha??

Manik:*gritting his teeth*cabirrr....

Cabir:*raising his hands in air*ok ok my fault...achaa sunn mukti ka call aaya tha...lets jam today afternoon....agar tu free hai toh...

Manik:aaj afternoon mein??

Cabir:haan kyu tu busy hai??

Manik:nahi busy nahi hu lekinnn...*rubbing his nape*tujhe toh pata hai naa afternoon lunch k liye mein...orphanage jaata hoon...

Cabir:*smirking* arey haan yeh toh mein bhul hi gaya tha k tu lunch k liye bhabhijiii se milne jaata hai...

He deliberately stretched 'bhabhiji' to tease him which really made manik blush while cabir laughed on his "newly transformed majnu friend"...

Cabir:*getting up from chair*chal koi nahi....tu jaake apni love story set kar..mein mukti se keh dunga k aaj teri koi meeting hai..

Manik:*smiles at him*thanks bro...

Cabir:abb to mujhe thanks bolega yrr??chal thik hai phir milte hai baad mein...

Manik nodded nd cabir turn to go bt reaching door he again turned half-way nd said teasingly-

Cabir:waise bhabhiji ko mera hii bolna...

Saying this he ran from there leaving blushing manik behind...

Around 12 in noon,manik reached orphanage nd his eyes wonder for only one person ~Nandini...he entered the orphanage nd saw nandini coming out of her room nd soon both their eyes met...

Manan were looking at each other sensually bt soon nandini broke the eye contact making him frown...

Manik slowly come to nandini nd said-

Manik:*smilingly*hii...

Nandini:*not looking at him*hii...*not looking at him*mujhe kaam hai...excuse me...

Saying this she went from there without giving him any chance of counterback nd making him sad bt manik chucked the thoughts nd went to sit with little girls...

Manik was tickling nd playing with muskaan when nandini came out from kitchen nd saw the scene....soon an unknown smile spread on her lips seeing them both laughing nd talking nd all this was scene by one other person also who was now sure that Nandini will b in gud hands only...it was mother who came there nd saw nandini smilingly looking at one direction nd she also followed her gaze only to smile.....

Mother:*coming beside nandini*he is really a nice guy...otherwise a huge businessman lyk him never come here nd sit on floor with little girls for their happiness....*caressing her hairs*i would only say one thing...give him a try my child...

Nandini who was adoring the scene looked at mother jerkingly nd said-

Nandini:*with teary eyes*noo mother he may b potraying...whats the guarantee that he is a right person...i have seen many people in my whole lyf who facade the mask of being good nd walk away when they no more need that person...what if he is also faking all this...*composing herself*i will look at lunch preparation...

Saying this she walked away from there looking once again at manik while mother could only sigh at nandini's incsecurities...

At around 12:30,nandini came nd called all girls for lunch nd manik also came there along with other girls....he asusual sat with muskaan in his lap nd started talking to her...

Nandini came nd served him food when manik said-

Manik:u also sit naa...

Nandini:*curtly*mujhe bhookh nahi hai...aap khaa lijiye...

saying this she went ahead to serve other girls clearly disappointing manik bt soon he composed himself nd made a mental note of asking her reason of sudden change of behaviour...

After lunch as usual nandini was sitting on bench monitoring girls when manik came nd sat beside her bt she choose to ignore his presence...

Manik:*looking straight at nowhere* i m observing that u r trying to ignore me...kyaa hua??kal kuch hua hai??meine kuch kiya joh aapko bura laga??

Nandini:*not looking at him*nahi aisa kuch nahi hai...

Manik:*said lovingly while turning to her*toh y r u behaving lyk this??have i done something yesterday to upset u??mere friends ne kuch kiya???is there any-

Nandini:*frustratatingly*aapko samaj nahi aata that i dont want to talk to u...kyu aap baar-baar mujhse baat karne aate hai...agar mein aapko ignore kar rahi hoon toh that means mujhe aapse baat nahi karni hai...plzz aap mujhse baar baar baat karne ki try mat kariye....i know u r also lyk them...pehle u will show care nd jab ur work will b done toh u will also walk out throwing me away like a piece of paper...plzz...plzz mujhse durr rahiye...

Saying this she ran away from there to her room while manik jst sat rooted on his place without even blinking....his trance was broken by muskaan who came there seeimg her favourite bhaiyu sad...

Muskan:tya hua bhaiyu??(kya hua bhaiyu??)

Manik:*smiles faintly at her*nothing...i gotta go...mein aapse kal milunga...ok??

Muskan:*kissing his cheek*bye...

Manik:*caressing her face*byee...

Manik got up nd had a look at the way nandini went inside before turning his heels nd driving striaght away to home as he was in no mood to go back to office...

He reached home nd was welcomed with lots of noice...he entered to see 2 people sitting with their back facing the entrance...he came towards them only to smile fully...

Manik:*smilingly*buaa....

The lady turn around smilingly nd manik immediately engulfed her making her laugh...

{Shalini Dhairya kapoor(age:-48):wife of dhairya kapoor nd only sister of Raj Malhotra....very jolly person nd always loves everyone around...had a love marriage with Dhairya kapoor who died few years back due to heart attack...owner of kapoor Industries nd look over her husband's bussiness very well....loves manik like her own son..manik is very close to her after nyonika...lives in banglore with his son aaryan kapoor...}

Manik:*sitting beside her*aap batate mujhe...mein lene aa jaata...

Boy:hello to u too Big B...

Manik:*rolling his eyes*nautanki mat kar Ari....

{Aaryan Dhairya kapoor(age:22):the only son of Shalini nd Dhairya kapoor...loves his mother to moon nd back...very jovial person with harmless flirting nature...with every next girl,he needs to flirt bt never crosses his limit...currently doing masters in business nd will soon join his father's business...wanted to go abroad for studies bt as he lost his father,didnt wanted to leave his mother alone soo he stayed back in banglore only....calls manik Big B (big brother)....very close to nyonika after his mother...}

Aaryan:haan ab sab aapki tarah 24/7 serious toh nahi reh sakte naa...

Manik:*giving tight smile*very funny...

Shalini:yeh sab chodo aur yeh bata mujhe k shaadi kab kar raha hai tu??bhai Aryaa ne bol diya hai k jab tak uske Big B shaadi nahi karenge,woh bhi nahi karega toh abb tu jaldi se shaadi kar le...

Manik:*pouting cutely*kyaa bua...kar lunga naa...abhi toh meri ummar hi kaha hai shaadi ki...

Aaryan:sahi kaha aapne...aapki umar hai nahi, thii...apki umar kab ki nikal chuki hai shaadi karne ki...abb toh shaadi karlo...

Manik:*whinned*buaa...

Shalini:aaryan mat tang kar mere bache ko...kar lega shaadi...*to manik*lekin yeh toh bata k koi kuddi pasand kii hai k woh bhi nahi...

Manik:*blushing*nahi bua abhi tak toh nahi-

Nyonika:*cutting him in between*chal jutha...ek ladki pasand ki hai shalini issne...

Shalini:*smiling widely*achaa???wah kon hai??kab milwa raha hai humse??

Aryaan:*smirking*wah Big B finally aapka bhi number aa hi gaya...

Nyonika:*making bad face* huh...abb tak naa photo dikhai hai aur naa hi milwaya hai...pata nahi kab milwayega mujhe...

Listening her,manik's mind went to today's encounter making him sad bt he composed himself...

Shalini:*excitedly*batana kaisi hai??kahan ki hai??naam kya hai??family kaisi hai...tune usse bataya k tu usse pyaar karta hai??uske ghar walle maan gayee kya??aur-

Aaryan:*stopping his mom*god mommm...chill karo..... Big B ko bolne toh o kuch...achaa big B atleast yeh hi bata la doo k woh beautiful hai??

Manik:*smiles faintly*umm bua mein fresh hokar aaya...actually i m feeling uncomfortable in this formals...

Shalini:haan jaa pehle tu fresh hoo jaa...baatein toh hoti rahegi...

Manik nodded nd went to his room nd locked the door before lying striaght on his bed looking blankly at ceiling...

Manik:ohh god!!! mom kitni khush lag rahi hai...abb unhe kaise bataun k jisse woh apni bahu banana chahti hai,woh toh mujhse baat bhi nahi karna chahti...kya hoo tum nandini...jab jab i think that now everything will b fine between us,u always goes away from me...

He sighed nd thinking abt her,his eyes slowly closed drawning him into a deep sleep....
