Chapter 5: HIS WORST NIGHTMARE

While in the car, Ethan groaned in discomfort as he held his stomach.

Hazel looked in the rearview mirror and saw the state Ethan was in.

She studied her surroundings and finally saw a spot safe for parking, as the cops might fine her if she parked at the wrong spot.

She swiftly opened the door and rushed to the back seat. She noticed that Ethan was feeling irritated.

She quickly helped him out of the car; unfortunately, Ethan was faster, as he threw up on her instead.

Hazel felt frustrated with this but chose not to mind, and she helped Ethan get back into the car.

She rushed to a nearby store to get a bottled water, quickly wiping off the substance on her shirt with the tissue in her bag.

She could still perceive the nauseous smell emanating from her shirt. But she controlled her breath.

Getting to Ethan's home, she helped him out of the car, and with all her strength, she was able to help him in after unlocking the door with his palm as it was a digital lock.

Hazel located his bedroom and helped him lie on the bed. She got a small towel from his room and wet it with warm water from the bathroom after setting the temperature.

She came back to where he was and wiped his face with the towel to make him feel a bit relaxed.

After she was done, she dropped the towel and couldn't help but stare at his face.

She recalled how he had saved her from falling heavily a few months ago, so whatever she had done now was merely repaying his kindness.

Hazel broke her thoughts and stood ready to leave when her hand was abruptly clutched, and before she could say a word, she was flung on Ethan's hard chest, and her eyes could clearly see his alluring looks from a closer view.

Hazel gulped in temptation, and she stared fixatedly at his face.

"Amel. Do you want to leave me again?" Ethan mumbled from his subconscious.

–Amel?

–Leave him again?

Hazel was confused, recalling that she saw the name "Amel" in his phone as his most recent call.

How come he's sounding like the person wants to run off for the second time? Hazel posed this question in her mind.

Or did she want to break up with him? Hazel couldn't grab the full meaning of what Ethan had just mumbled, when Ethan lurched over her, making her stay beneath him.

Her eyes widened, and she was at a loss for what to do. In a twinkle, Ethan's lips docked on hers, making her perceive the smell of the wine he had drunk earlier.

Hazel regained her senses and tried to shove him off, but he was much sturdy as he deepened the kiss and pressed her two hands over her head with his right hand, while his left caressed her body seductively.

Hazel felt a tingling sensation in her system, which made it difficult for her to push him off further.

To her, Ethan was a love at first sight since the day she had laid her eyes on him, and in that beat, she got the opportunity to be with him that way. She couldn't tell the kind of force that was driving her to succumb to Ethan's sensational movements.

In the long run, Hazel gave in to Ethan's seductive touch as she couldn't control her awoken urge any longer; not minding what would surface the next day.

Ethan got home earlier as promised, and after a few minutes, The Roys arrived at the Wilsons.

The Wilsons welcomed them warmly, being aware of the kind of prestige the Roys held.

Soon enough, the both families surrounded the large dining area of the Wilsons and they engaged in conversations as the dishes were being served.

"Ethan how has it been running RD group all by yourself?" Klaus Wilson asked.

"It's been smooth, but I must say not easy." Ethan replied straightforwardly.

Klaus nodded his head, with the awareness of how much it requires to run a company as big as RD.

"Ethan is really a good young man, hardworking and charming, no wonder our Amelia couldn't do away with him." Shannon Wilson smiled, gazing at Ethan who was replying some texts that had come in through his phone.

Klaus glanced at his wife, knowing she was trying to bring up a topic relating to Amelia's last wish. He shook his head silently, not liking the idea of what his wife had in mind, but he also wanted Ethan to be a son in-law to his family.

Shannon, who was unaware of her husband's thoughts kept on praising Ethan, while his parents also contributed and Ethan only gave a faint smile.

In the next tick, Jane Wilson stepped out of her room to join the family for dinner.

"Mum! You could have informed me that the Roys are here." Jane wore an astounding look, following a tactic agreement between her and her mother earlier.

"Oh. sorry dear, I just didn't want to interfere in your resting hours, come sit, you haven't been eating well lately." Shannon acted pitiful in regards to Jane.

Jane sighed and immediately acknowledged the Roys while she glanced through and found out that, the available seat is the one directly beside Ethan.

Her eyes glistened, but she quickly hid her emotions.

"Oh, Ethan, I'm sorry I would have to inconvenience you, the only seat available is the one beside you, do you mind..."

"Come sit." Ethan spoke up before she could finish her statement, while he continued with his meal. He respected her as she was his late girlfriend's younger sister and her family were also the host for the night.

Jane felt glad in her heart and joined the two families at the dinning area sitting beside Ethan.

"I and my wife will be having our 30th wedding anniversary, next month, so we would love to see you celebrate with us." Lucas Roy said with a smile.

"Wow! That's really a happy thing to celebrate, thank you for inviting us." Shannon commented happily.

"We'll surely be there." Klaus added.

"Jane, you need to get yourself a beautiful dress for that day, remember this is the time you have to look more appealing." Shannon reminded her daughter, hinting a meaning.

"Yes mum, will do that soon." Jane replied, understanding what her mother meant.

"Jane, since you're almost done with schooling, do you plan for any romantic relationship?" Maltida Roy suddenly raised this question.

Jane looked startled to hear such a question from Maltida, same as Shannon, only Klaus, Lucas and Ethan didn't feel moved.

Jane cleared her throat before speaking

"Actually, relating to my relationship, I really want to fulfil my sister's last wish, with that I can honour her words since she has passed on and it's best to respect the last wish of the dead". Jane replied, as she sounded politeful.

Hearing what Jane had just said, the three men who didn't show too much concern earlier paused on their meal.

Ethan's handsome face was immediately laced with a light frown.

He wasn't envisioning Jane to still be on this issue—Could this be the reason the Wilsons had called for a dinner? Ethan pondered in his head.
