CHAPTER 11

Yesterday was really hectic. I never thought that my family knew Arjun's family. Anyways now I was getting ready for Jia's lunch it was in Holiday Inn. I wore my new dress which I bought yesterday and kept Jia's dress in my bag. Suddenly my phone started ringing it was Asad.

"Nai where are you we have been waiting for you. Please don't ditch me today at least " he asked. We are close friends.

"Oh I won't ditch you today I am on my way. Will be there in 10 minutes. So have patients" I said calmly.

"Okay but come fast" and then he hung up. I am really excited to meet Asad I'll be meeting him after along time.

I finally reached the destination I gave my keys to the valet and then went inside. I soon sported Jia as usual laughing like a maniac. And Asad and Akshay beside her there was someone else also but I could not make out who it was. I saw Nisha and Shivi also there. I then proceeded towards them.

"Hello look who finally showed up" Akshay said while hugging me tightly.

"Yea you know style status" I said in a meschivious tone.

"Really" Asad said.

"Naina?"

Oo no Arjun is here what is he doing here.

"Arjun? Oo I mean Mr. Rai?" I said.

"You people know each other?" Jim asked.

"Yea he is one of my clients. Well not him but his nephew" I said.

"Oo great" Shivi said. "So did you miss me jaaneman(sweetheart)" Shivi asked in a flirty manner.

I raised my eyebrows "No but I did miss my puppy" and then hugged Nisha.

"Nai it's my birthday you greeted everyone but me" she said in a duh tone.

"Awww are you jealous" I said with a smirk.

"Yes I am" she said in a duh tone.

"Okay happy birthday" then I gave her her packet.

"Tell me if you liked it" I said. Sitting beside Asad.

"What is it" she said while opening it.

"Ah ah don't open it right now. Let it be a surprise"

We talked for hours me and Asad talking about our school days. I could fell someone gaze on me and it was none other than Arjun well I must say he was looking really nice today in casual tees and denims jeans.

"Okay let's go and get something to eat" Asad said.

"Okay Asad get something for everyone" Nisha said while giving me a high five.

"What why should I get something for everyone someone should help me" Asad said while complaining.

"Awww Asad chalo I'll help you" I said while getting up from my seat.

We then headed towards the buffet counter.

Arjun's POV

She was really looking very beautiful and elegant today. But I was not liking her sitting next to that Asad guy. No no Arjun don't tell me you like Naina. Of course, you do like her. But what if she doesn't like you then what you can't force her to like you. But no I am Arjun Rai The Arjun Rai I can get whatever I want no matter what it is but you won't be hurting Naina. Got it. Yeah, you better get it.

"Don't they look great together?" Akshay said.

"What so great about then I mean Naina can get anyone better than Asad," I said in a cold voice.

"But still Arjun, you must not be knowing but Asad used to have a crush on Nai in our school days and who knows he must still be having," Nisha said.

"But I don't think they look good together at all," I said narrowing my eyes.

"Or should I say that you are being jealous," Akshay said while smirking.

"It's not like that. Anyways I should get going" I said while picking my phone up.

"But Arjun you just came please stay for a little more" Jia requested.

"Yeah I know But I need to leave Jia. Bye," I said with a smile.

"Okay," she said.

And then I left from there. I don't know why but I really felt a pang of jealousy when I saw Naina with Asad. I really do like her.

I was now in my office working I know it's Sunday but still. Mom Dad and Jai have gone for an outing so I can do my work peacefully. Just then my phone rang.

"Yes," I said in a cold voice

"Sir sorry to disturb you but there is a lady who wants to see you" the guard replied.

"Who is she," I asked.

"Let me ask her sir" then after few seconds he replied "Dr Naina Bhardwaj"

'Okay let her in ask her to use my private elevator" I said and then hung up.

After a few minutes, my office door opened with a bang.

"What do you think of yourself" I saw a really very angry Naina for the very first time. "Tell me what do you think you are just because you are powerful and rich businessman doesn't mean that you say whatever you feel like" she was frowning at me.

"Dr Naina I haven't done anything that you are shouting at me and be great full that I haven't got you thrown out. And will you please tell me why are you angry at me?" I was still doing my work not giving her much attention.

"Really you are doing your work when I am shouting at you and on to-" I interrupted her.

"First of all nobody has ever shouted on me and I am letting you do that because I know you are a sensible person and might be shouting me for a reason. But will you tell me" I asked her in a cold voice? I was also angry at her but I am not shouting at her then why is she.

She took a deep breath and then said "Right away. I don't what you have told my friends or from what action of yours they think, they think that you are my boyfriend" she said angrily.

"So is there a problem. I think you should be happy about it" I said still doing my work.

"Yes there is a problem" she was really very angry. "You should know what to say and when to say. And you don't have that much of sense then I am sorry to say you are not mature enough to be an adult" she shouted at me.

"That's enough Dr Bhardwaj" I shouted at her while standing from my chair. "You are no one to comment on my maturity. I am not saying anything that does not mean you will say whatever you feel like. And if you think I am not mature then tell me how have created such a large empire" I was now fuming with anger.

"That I don't know Mr Rai but whatever you did today was not acceptable, you are no one who can comment on me. I am not like others on whom you can comment and they will find it as a compliment " her voice cracked at the end which indicated that she was hurt and then she left the office.

No what have I done?
