Nik.

The room, looked luxurious, with the diamond Chandelier hanging down in the center of the room, and a fireplace surrounded by leather couches and a recliner, a table set in the middle with a minibar at the left, and a huge screen facing the couches, glass waterfall covered half of the room, with rest the glass windows, showing the flower garden from outside. The group sat like it was a normal day, but it wasn't. a man at the brink of death was on the carpet, he groaned and moaned in pain but nobody paid attention to it, minding their businesses.

Nik rolls his green eyes, annoyed. He had a hangover, he was still angry for leaving Emelia last night, he had to deal with the man before him, the torture was supposed to last for few hours but somehow it "will you shut up or do I have to cut your tongue out?"Nik snarls to the man with a deadly glare. The man moans in pain, as Ryan twists the knife in his chest. "hey! he is getting blood on the carpet!" Jason snaps from where he sat, on the side table, next to Marcus who was busy typing away on his laptop, paying no mind to the situation in front of him.

The platinum blonde sighs lifting the man and throwing him on the marbled floor. "Now he is getting blood on the tiles! do you know how much they cost?" Elijah sighs rubbing his forehead, he regretted drinking so much last night. Nik rolls his eyes nursing the drink in his hand, The man being the reason for his day drinking, that's what he told himself, but he knew it was a certain raven, with pretty brown eyes who occupied his dreams last night.

"I bought them, so yeah I do" he replies taking a sip of the whiskey.

"Can you guys stop with the noise! I have a hangover here" Jacob says from the couch he is lying upside down, his feet dangling in the air.

"well someone has been naughty," Marcus says shooting an amused look at the man. Nik raises his brow "look at our little phony meeting with silver rose" he says showing Nik a picture, of the man and two brothers exchanging files.

"oh look more lies," Nik says walking up to the man, Ryan steps back as Nik glares at the man, he lifts his shoe, bending it at a certain angle, a small knife pops out from the front of the shoe. Nik smirks noticing the scared look on the man's face. he presses the knife at his throat. "I'm sorry" the man wheezes as Nik presses his shoe against his neck, drawing blood.

"you are sorry?" he asks in disbelief. Nik rolls his eyes and plunges the knife into his throat, blood soaks the man's blue shirt and spills on the tiled floor. "The floor!" Elijah whines, "clean this shit up and send silver rose his head with a little message," Nik says, sitting on a leather recliner." what message?" Ryan asks cleaning his bloody hands.

"game on," Nik says with a smirk as Derek enters the room, stepping over the dead body. two men enter as well and take the body out as few maids clean the blood. "hey boss" Derek greets with a smile and sits next to Marcus with a smile. "hey babe" he whispers peaking his lips. "hey" he whispers back with a small smile.

"your brother is getting on my nerves," Nik says to Derek. "when doesn't he do that?" he replies putting his arm around Marcus, smiling when he cuddles closer.

"stop with the romance," Jacob says, sitting up with a fake gag "jealous?" Derek asks with a mischievous look. "It's annoying," Jason says resting his feet on the coffee table. Elijah hits his leg "the table is Italian!" he snaps at him and Jason rolls his eyes "so am I" he says cheekily.

"moving on," Ryan says grabbing few drinks and setting them in front of Derek, he rolls his eyes. "make me a martini," he says falling on the sofa. "say please" Derek teases making him roll his eyes "make me a drink before I give you a black eye" he threatens to earn a weary chuckle from the brunette. he quickly makes a martini, handing him the drink with a dramatic bow.

"here you go, I got only a little bit of information," Derek says throwing Nik a pen drive. "what information?" Marcus asks looking between his boyfriend and Nik. he smirks connecting the pen drive to the screen. a photo of a familiar raven is shown on the screen. "princess mi- Emelia?" Elijah corrects himself.

"soon to be the queen of the Italian mafia," Nik says with a sinister smile." wait, so you are seriously doing this?" Jacob asks looking at the picture of mia getting some coffee. Nik hums starting at the picture with a fond smile.

"so, from what I have is, she works for her brother's mafia, and his second in command for tech team and also helps in cleaning up messes," Derek says with an amused smirk "she is an assassin?" Nik says surprised and with a proud look on his face. "yeah, it seems so, and guess what she also killed the heir of the British mafia" he chuckles. "wait, so that's what caused a war between them, yeah and now the Spanish mafia has a hold on British mafia too" Jason says looking at Marcus's laptop.

"so when I take over the Spanish mafia, I will also rule the British?" Nik smirks, "I will be the most powerful Mafia King," he announces resting his hands behind his head. "first the princess has to fall for you," Derek says skipping to the next image. "and, according to what I gathered, she is rarely seen with anyone," he says and continues "what if she swings for another team?" he asks and Nik scoffs "I can turn the girl straight with my charms," he says making Elijah roll his eyes.

"did you talk to father about this?" he asks sipping his coffee. "I'm the king, I make the decisions," Nik says glaring at his half brother. "but Nik do you have to do this? are you going to kill Emelia?" Jacob asks and Derek rolls his eyes as everyone looks at Nik curiously and in fear for the raven-haired girl.

"Maybe. she is really beautiful and she can put on a fight from what Derek told and she also has this fire in her eyes, I would keep her alive if she is entertaining enough" he shrugs carelessly. the group shares a nervous look except for Derek, Marcus planned on telling him about mia and Nik, he should then understand how much she means to him and everyone.

"what about the council?" Ryan asks, "what about it?"Nik asks, " you do know if you marry the princess you can't kill her," he says, "that's true I can't kill the Queen, but I can kill or punish her of she 'betrays' me" Nik smirks. "you are going to create some shit and blame it on her?" Jason asks and he nods making Elijah gulp.

He didn't know what should he do, should he tell his sister about Nik's plan or let him do whatever, he sighs grabbing putting his coffee down and mixing it with some bourbon. he decides not to involve until the moment mia's life is in danger. "let's grab some brunch?" Derek

asks, "sure!" the twins exclaim, he rolls his eyes

"not you guys, I meant Marcus," Derek says, "sure," Marcus says with little blush, Nik watches them leave with an eye roll.

"Okay, I'm meeting with the research department" Elijah announces fixing his suit. "Ryan, how are our guests today?" he asks and he shrugs "I don't know, I visited them 3 days ago" Nik nods "how about you go and check on them and there is a new prisoner from the rival gang, make sure he is comfortable" he orders to him.

He let out a groan massaging his head, it's been 3 hours and he finally signed the last file of the day, he wanted to relax, perhaps go to the spa or pay a visit to the princess, his amore. unknowingly he smiles earning a weird look from the twins who were on the couch of his office going through the files of recruits.

"Hey, Niky boo!" Nik frowns hearing a familiar squeal. "Madison," he says turning to look at the redhead with an emotionless look. the twins roll their eyes as she clings to him. "look at my new earrings! they are beautiful, aren't they?" she says showing her diamond earrings.

"they look beautiful cause you bought them with my money," Nik says making her pout. "you are mad at me again?" she whines at him. he pulls her off her "you sleeping with the Russian leader?" he asks her with a glare. "hey! I bought some inside information" Madison says then smirks "you jealous?" Nik laughs pulling her close making her smile "if I ever find out that you breathed a little syllable about me, I will give you the most agonizing death" he threatens her.

His phone rings and he releases her, "yes" Nik says answering the phone, he keeps an emotionless less face as he cuts the call. "what happened?" Jacob asks him, getting up from his place. "marc is shot" Nik says to them then his glare hardens "by whom?" Jason asks worriedly.

"Is he okay?" the twins ask again. "Derek is with him at our Gang infirmary" he informs wearing his black suit. "well do we know who shot him?" Jason asks and Nik nods. "princess Emelia" he seethes out with a murderous glare.
