Chapter: 5

Mia.

"Just a few more spoons, love" mia says to zion, who nods chewing the waffle. he had a big grin on his face, zion loved to eat, and marshmallow and chocolate waffle were one of his favourites, it was his second favourite, precisely. he liked the rainbow waffles the most. zion had a sweet tooth and didn't eat spicy food, he always preferred sweets rather than fries, nuggets, etc.

zion was a very energetic kid, for a 4-year-old he was quite intelligent, compared to other 4-year-olds, he knew how to talk Spanish and English and how to do addition, multiplication, subtraction. he can also say a few names of wild animals and domestic animals. Mia thought about skipping kindergarten and put him in 1 grade.

But to the mafia world, zion doesn't exist, so he will be homeschooled till he reaches the age of training, then he can be put in public or private school. Mia wasn't ready for that, she was so used to having the bundle of joy around, she didn't want him to start school yet. zion knew about the mafia, he even knows that he is a royal and knows every other royal family. Mia was always worried about him, the world they lived in was too dangerous and cruel for an innocent being like him.

The morning begins for mia with zion jumping on her bed, he was like an alarm for her, when she finally fell asleep at 4:30, A very energetic four-year-old woke mia up. how do 4-year-olds have so much energy at 5 in the morning? after bathing him and being covered in bubbles, Mia took a bath herself, she didn't bother to put on makeup. she was still tired, it was the next day and mia still doesn't have a clue what exactly happened the previous night.

it still felt like a dream, but it wasn't Nik was there and he didn't remember her, he didn't remember their love, their promises, he didn't remember how he left her.

the party went on till 2 in the morning, where most of the ladies left and the men were having small chat in the smoking room, Mia went to zion, who was asleep in his new room, she remembered cleaning up his toys and sitting beside him for hours before she drifted off to sleep next to him, she made sure to get a bigger bed so she could sleep next to him whenever she wanted.

zion reached out and took the spoon out of mia's hands breaking her out of her thoughts. ate a spoon full of waffle himself, mia's eyes widen as he choked, she quickly reached out to rub his back and Enzo grabbed some water and gave it to her.

she gave zion some water, and rubbed his back till he stopped coughing." bubba you have to be careful!" she scolded wiping the tears away. zion gave a silent nod looking down his lap. he was on a counter, sitting Indian style, in his unicorn onesie.

Mia was standing in front of him, in her bedclothes and hair up in a messy bun. "you can't just eat an l spoon full! you are still little" she said carefully lifting his chin.

he pouted, his brown eyes big and innocent. "yeah and you will look like a pig" Enzo says making an oinking noise. zion frowns "but uncle jav eats like that," he says pointing to Javier who was stuffing his mouth with pancakes.

"that is mean" Javier pouts playfully and zion sticks his tongue out "deal with it," he says in a sassy tone. making mia and Enzo laugh.it was easy to say that zion got a lot of sass just like his mother and had the same smirk as his father. Mia sighed studying the 4-year-old, his messy brown hair was falling on his eyes, Mia pushed it back. he needs a haircut. she thought. Mia noticed the hair going lighter colour, more specifically dark blonde.

"you know what mean boys get," Javier says with a smile making his way to his nephew. "what?" zion asks curiously. "tickles!" Javier shouts, quickly tickling the child earning a fit of giggles, which echoed all over the house. "mama! save me" he sequels giggling, Mia chuckles, "say please" mia teases sipping her coffee.

"pl-ease," he says between his laughter. "okay jav he just ate, stop it" mia scolds hitting his arm while taking zion out of his hold. zion sticks his rogue out cuddling closer to his mother.

"what the fuck you mean by that?" Enzo yells suddenly making mia snap his head to his, shooting him a glare for cursing. he was on his

phone and had a murderous expression on his face. looks like someone is going to die mia thought as she wiped the chocolate sauce around Zion's mouth who pouted adorably at mia for not letting him clean himself.

"Será Mejor Que corrals, Porque Cuando te Encuentre te mataré!" (you better run, because when I find you I will kill you!) he snarls in the phone and cuts the call and throws the phone on the wall, the phone cracks and falls on the ground and mia rolls her eyes at him. it was his 5 phones of this year. " are you done throwing a tantrum?" mia asks picking up a sleepy 4-year-old.

"you want to take a nap, baby?" mia asks rubbing his back, he shakes his head "I won't play," he says wiggling in mia's arms. "okay! stay in the backyard! don't go near the pool an-" mia begins to instruct but gets cut off by zion. "don't play in the wet grass, and come inside if a guard tells me too" zion finishes and mia narrows her eyes at him with a smile.

he returns a grin and runs up to mia, "down down" he says pulling mia down, he kisses her head, making her smile "bye mama, love you!" he says to her then waves to the brothers "bye love you both" he says "love you too" the Rodriguez siblings say watching the 4-year-old runaway.

"wear your shoes!" mia calls out. "okay mama" she hears his little voice. "so do you gave any missions today?" Enzo asks mia and she bites her lip. she had to eliminate Shane. "yeah" she answers thinking about the brunette.

"who?" Javier asks chewing with his mouth open, she gives him a disgusted look, and he rolls his eyes. "Shane Rossi," mia says to her brothers.

"yeah about that, you have to first deal with Ashton," Enzo says, "the traitor?" she asks confused. "yeah, Cian is out with a meeting and he won't be back till late night, and we need info," Enzo says and mia hums.

"okay I will look I to it after I clean up Shane, why don't you just ask Enrique," mia asks "don't let Yael hear you call that!" Javier says to her sternly.

Yael whose first name is Enrique hates being called by the name, so he prefers to go by Yael, his middle name.

" why?" mia asks confused. "cause he hates that name," Enzo says in an obvious tone "he let me call that time to time," she says with a shrug. "really?" they ask shocked, with a smile on their face, mia nods. "don't get your hopes up! she is my little cousin, so she is an exception" Yael says entering the kitchen. the brothers roll their eyes at him annoyed. mia's phone pings and she checks it.

"okay we have eyes on Shane, I will be back soon, bye guys love you," mia says but Yael catches her arm. "you want me to come?" he asks and she shakes her head.

"no, I will be fine, Sam will be with me," mia says and Javier snorts "he faints at the sight of blood," he says and mia rolls her eyes. "right and you scream like a girl when you see a cockroach" mia retorts earning a glare from Javier, and chuckle from Enzo and Yael." you do know that sam sucks at fighting right?" Yael asks, "and running" Enzo adds. Mia rolls her eyes, "he is just keeping eyes" mia says to them.

"fine, if you need us just send a message," Javier says. "I can do things myself guys I have been doing this thing for 3 years" mia sighs. "and you get yourself in trouble most of the time," Yael says. "no I don't" she protests.

. they give her a pointed look and mia huffs. "not my fault they are idiots" mia says and Enzo nods unconvinced." yeah, taunting them and playing with them before the killing is supposed to be fun," Javier says. "I like to play games with my prey" mia shrugs. "and that's what gets you in trouble," Enzo says to her. "okay whatever, I gotta go, people to kill," mia says going to her room.

After having a shower, Mia dresses in a spaghetti top with lace around the v neck and black skinny jeans. she takes out her combat boot heels and wears her black leather jacket which had roses and a skull at the back, her signature jacket when she is on a mission. she bites her lip, looking through her masks, she chooses her black lace eye mask.

"take care of him, and if anything happens to call me right away," mia says to Javier and he rolls his eyes "little z will be fine, so just go on the mission," he says and mia nods "good luck on your date with Rory," she says with a smirk, his eyes widen "how did you know?" he asks

"that's for me to know and you to dot. dot. dot." mia says mischievously walks to the door.

After checking herself in the mirror near the door, she nods looking at her dark makeup, Mia walks into the cellar with her head held high. she walks into the weapons room and takes her guns, knives, and small grenades.

after strapping everything on herself she walks to the parking section. The Rodriguez mansion had more than one weapons vault, the parking lot was mainly basic weapons and sometimes signature weapons of the siblings.

Mia had her vault hidden in her room, which is only used in emergencies, "tuatara black," she says in a cold tone and the man hands her the keys with a bow. she hops on and plugs the GPS. she then drives to an expensive French restaurant.

Mia walks to the roof of the opposite building and removes her gun, she sets up the gun using her mini binoculars, which she invented, the binoculars gave the age and the gender of the person along with the distance between them. it also gives information on the weapon they carry.

"looks like I'm about to crash a date" she frowns looking at the brunette holding hands with a man. the fuck. she curses looking at Marcus with the help of her binoculars, Mia shakes her head, does this idiot not know how dangerous his date is?

"sorry marc," mia says to herself and aims the gun at the brunette. "fuck. fuck" mia swears as the red dot appear on his head, since when did her gun do this? she thought.

she looks at her gun, this was not her gun! ugh, you idiot she scolds herself and shakes her head, as the dot moves around. she had to kill him before Marcus becomes alert. she pulls the trigger and a brunette gets hit in the chest.

"fuck. Marcus!" mia curses.
