CHAPTER TWO

“Woah! Good morning, Heaven! What on Earth have you eaten to clean this place up?” I heard the guy who just came in asked thinking it was someone else who has cleaned this area. Heaven? Is that the name of the guy who walked by a while ago?

After throwing the trashes on the kitchen, I went back to the living room and saw the other three guys that I will be living with. Dad’s right. They all look so handsome.

When they saw me, I decided to introduce myself already because they might think that I just sneaked inside.

“Hi, guys. I’m your new dorm mate,” I informed them. “Hans,” I introduced myself.

“So, you’re the one that Heaven said that’s coming,” basing on his voice, he was the one who spoke a while ago thinking it was Heaven who cleaned the living room. “My name is Fire,” he introduced himself and smiled at me before shaking my hand.

“Are you gay?” The other guy asked me. I didn’t know what that is for. Are they homophobes who will try to kill me for being gay? I hope not.

“Is there any problem if I am?” I asked – not confirming nor denying anything.

“Of course none. I’d be happy if you are because at least, we’ll have our princess here,” he clarified himself. “By the way, I’m Leaf,” he introduced himself and also smiled before shaking my hand.

“I am Wind,” the last guy introduced himself which made me look at them confusedly.

“Are you kidding me? Are your names really elemental?” I can’t help but to ask so they laughed at me.

“That’s the truth,” a guy named Fire answered me. “My name is Izzy Fire Diaz.”

“Maki Leaf Bernardo,” Leaf introduced his full name.

“Wind Dell Tampus,” Wind stated his name. “The other one inside his room is Heaven Ricaforte,” he even introduced that cold guy who refused to talk to me a while ago.

“I really thought that you were all kidding me,” I said laughing at myself. “My whole name’s Hans Eric Lagdameo Lopez so y’all can call me Hell,” I fully introduced myself including my nickname.

“You’re too cute to be called as Hell,” Fire said which made me feel like my cheeks are turning red.

“You’re blushing, aren’t you?” Leaf teasingly asked me and started to gesture like he’s tickling me.

They said that these guys are gangsters and I really can’t see any trace of it right now because as I can see it, these are some normal guys living their normal lives. They doesn’t even look as scary as how I expected them to be based on my dad’s heads up for me and even Ice’s reaction when she found out a while ago that I will be staying with these gangsters.

“I’m not,” I denied. But to be honest, Fire has got the looks that I really like for a guy. His slanted eyes paired with his pointed nose are just a perfect combination that I really admire. So if I will be asked if I like him, maybe it’s a yes but of course I won’t admit.

“Have you eaten yet? We ate already and there are no foods here so we always go out to have our meals,” Wind asked me

“I haven’t but I’ll just cook later after I’m done fixing my things up,” I answered. “By the way, where is my room located?” I asked so I can already start unpacking my things.

“That room on the corner is vacant. Need some help?” Fire answered and offered me his help for unpacking my things.

“I can manage,” I answered. “I’ll go ahead now,” I informed them and when they all nodded, I proceeded to my room and started cleaning and fixing my things up.

Good thing that there is an air-conditioning unit here because I really can’t stand the heat right now. There’s also a cabinet attached to the wall and that’s where I placed my clothes. I placed my laptop at the study table beside my bed and when everything’s fixed, I decided to rest for a while before cooking for lunch.

I saw a supermarket before going in our dorm so I decided to go there and buy my needed ingredients for the food that I am going to prepare. I thought of the boys while shopping and realized how unhealthy their lifestyles are for always eating at a fast food restaurant so I decided to cook for them as well. Once I’m done getting all I need, I came back to our unit and saw Heaven smoking a cigarette.

“It’s not allowed here, right?” I asked to remind him that he’s doing something illegal in this dorm.

He chose not to answer and when I figured out that he’s really that kind of person, I left him outside and went inside where I saw Fire, Leaf and Wind playing card games.

“Have you bought everything you need?” Fire asked as he noticed that I already came.

“Yup! I’ll just cook at the kitchen,” I informed them and went straight to the kitchen.

I started to cook chicken adobo because that’s the best dish that I can cook. When I’m done cooking, I went back to the living room and decided to watch them on their game that I really don’t know anything about.

“The food smells so delicious, Hans,” Fire commented as I approach them.

“I made a lot. Are you sure you don’t want to eat?” I asked them.

“You are such a tease!” Leaf annoyingly said which made all of us laugh.
