Chapter 9

He smiled at it. "Let's see."

When he got down, he even waved at the man. He followed the look of the moving figure of its vehicle. She smiled as she remembered their date. It was okay. More than okay to be exact. Rance was nice to talk to and he really enjoyed their second date again.

"So he's just someone, huh?"

He stiffened in his stance when he heard Gabby's voice from behind him. He bit his lower lip. She hadn't heard any emotion in Gabby's voice and that was what she was afraid of. If there was one thing Gabby doesn’t like, it was lying.

Smiling, he turned to his friend but it turned to a grin when his folded figure came out.

“Eros…”

When perhaps the doubt was seen in his eyes the expression on his face softened. “I’m not mad at you, Psyche. Just worried because you did not tell me you’re going out with this Rance. What if something happened? What if he did something and I’m not there to protect you? ”

He lovingly grabbed her hand and squeezed it. The care he had shown her was warming her heart. “Hey, I’m okay. There’s no need to worry. Rance is a good man. ”

"You can't take away my worries, Psyche."

“I know but I’m a big girl already, Eros. I know how to protect myself. And Rance will not do me any harm. If you get to know him, you will know that he is a good person. ”

It raised an eyebrow at him. "Really?"

He nodded. Even before he could move, it was even closer to his body. She could feel the hardness of his body against hers. And before she could even blink, his lips were already pressed against her lips.

Shocked.

Frozen.

Electrified ?!

The kiss lasts for five seconds but to her, it seems like five hours had already passed. When it slightly moved away from him he closed his eyes. The kiss that she’s been protecting since she was small was taken by her… best friend ?!

"How can you protect yourself when you could not even protect your first kiss?" smiling at him as if it did not steal his first kiss.

Her eyes narrowed especially as she saw the comfort in Gabby's eyes.

“Did you eat perfect mango? Your lips taste like mango, Psyche. ”

That did it. He pushed the man and big steps into the house. He was already at the door when he turned to the friend who was still standing at the gate and his gaze followed him.

“I hate you, Eros Gabriel! Repent let's have a candle! Bakulaw! End of friendship! ” he shouted at the man.

He did not wait for it to answer and immediately entered the house and locked the door. He went straight to his room and lay down on the bed. He felt the lips.

It was just a smack but it seems like she could still feel the softness and warmth of Gabby’s lips against hers.

Weird.
