Chapter 8

Psyche Faie had always been a loner since they were still small. It made no friends other than him. Her tears were shallow and even then she did not want to hurt her for any reason. Ever since he saw her crying when she was fourteen, he promised that he would do everything within his power to protect her smiles.

Everything he does and does is for Psyche Faie. Even the woman herself did not know that. That’s how important she is to him.

His mind was interrupted when the message alert tone of his cell phone rang. It was a text message from Laia, one of Psyche Faie's staff in her shop. This is his "messenger" when he is not next to Psyche Faie.

Kuya Gab, Ate Faie’s suitor is here! Shocks! He is really handsome! Even before he could reply, he received another message from Laia.

They’re going out, Kuya! Hala!

She closes her eyes. The crazy Psyche Faie, is hiding from him!

"Do you want to hear what I want to say, Gabby?" Zen wakes him up.

"No I do not."

It grinned. “You still listen. Just because you are there doesn’t mean she could see you as you, Gabby. ”

He saw his friends nod one after another. Before he could ask what Zen wanted to point out, a plate of cake was placed in front of him.

"H-hi, Gabby." Kiming greeted him by the woman who dropped the cake. “My t-treat. Ahm, I’m a f-fan of yours. I like you! ”

He scratched his neck very hard. This is not the first time someone has "confessed" to him but he is still not used to it. "Thank you but I like someone else." He said that from the beginning he was the answer to every "proposals" he received. There’s no harm in lying, right?

“Oh. Ahm, s-sorry. Bye. ”

It hurried out of the café. He immediately pushed Kent the cake. "Eat this."

Shaking it grinned. "I don't know who's the real you, Gabby."

"What?"

"You look approachable with your smile but there's something about you that screams 'don't come any closer' which was reserved for the girls, I think."

"And you love sweets." Ani Zeke.

"Sweets made by Psyche Faie, Zeke." Zeb smiled, one of the triplets.

Again he scratched his neck very hard. Why does he feel like his friends are helping him?

"THANK YOU, Rance." Psyche Faie said when Rance's car stopped in front of his house. Suddenly their date. Suddenly it came to her pastry shop and her mother ate outside. They enjoyed the conversation so much that he did not notice the time. The snack has reached until dinner. His plan is to deliver more on Bite Me! par asana to arrange inventories and close the shop but since it took them a night, he only sent them to their parents' house. He just let his assistant Oreo close the pastry shop.

He gently grasped her hand. “I had fun, Faie. I hope there is more to come. ”
