"DELAH will bring her boss!" Karen immediately opened up when Gelly's face appeared on the screen of her iPad.

She grinned. "The boss who caught her rant while chatting with Sitty?"

“Exactly! I can smell something fishy, Gelly! ”

"Let's just see your brother's birthday."

Her older brother's birthday is tomorrow and he will celebrate it at their rest house in Batangas. And being the good sister that she was, she volunteered to invite her friends. Annoyingly, Delah will bring her controversial boss! Annoying because it has a love life while the six of them are waley. Ashleigh already has a boyfriend, who is her college sweetheart.

They will also talk to Nile tomorrow about the favor he asked for. He is already excited because this is the first time he will use the dummy himself for a novel.

"Is Jace with you tomorrow?" Gelly awoke in her mind. The Jace it refers to is his older brother Harmond's friend.

"I think so?"

“Oh. I have to fix it tomorrow. ”

He was just shaken. He immediately said goodbye to his friend when he noticed the time. He walked a long way out of the StarFax building. He was about to board a taxi when he noticed a familiar figure leaning on a motorbike. The man was in shades so he did not know where his eyes were focused but he seemed to feel the warmth of his gaze on her.

He swallowed as it slowly approached me he will stand. She could not help but swoon on the way he walks. It seems like he’s swagging his way towards her. It seems like he’s oozing of power and charisma. The way his three-piece crisp suit clung into his body made him looks so sexy.

“Your time, Karen. The amount of energy I have wasted will be waiting for you. ”

Her eyes widened as she mentioned his name. Does it know him? A sigh escaped her mouth as it removed the shades from her eyes.

The guy she’s swooning over was non-other than her best friend, Daniel Prieston! He knew his whole face was red with embarrassment even though he did not know what was going on in his mind. Jusmeh! What does what he did mean?

“Are you sick? You are blushing, oh. ”

When it touched his cheek properly, he backed away. At the same time, his heart was pounding. When his forehead furrowed, he almost hit himself. Why does he react like this to a friend?

He sneezed and took a deep breath to soothe his heart. “It's hot inside. Why are you here? ”

He grinned and she could not help but think that he’s really handsome. This is not the first time Nile has smiled at him but this is the first time that his smile has had such an effect on him.

She wondered if she was having a snack because she might just feel hungry.

“Come with me to buy a gift for Harmond. If he just didn't ban cash, I would give him cash, eh. I just get tired of walking around the mall. ”

He just smiled. Nile is the person who complains that his time and energy will be wasted but he will still act for his friends. So it's just a matter of being the hero of his novel. He is someone whom she can depend on, indeed.
