Chapter 4: Getting Back At Him
CHAPTER 4
Subtitle: GETTING BACK AT HIM.
(Loving you wasn't part of the deal)
NEXT MORNING.....
Lillian yawned and she stretched her body the minute she woke up.
She stared at the bed, and she realized Milo didn't sleep on the bed last night.
"Useless fool." She cursed.
She stood up from the bed, wore her flip-flops and she left the room.
"Milo! Milo!" She called as she walked down the stairs.
She saw Milo sleeping peacefully on the couch.
'So this was where he slept last night.' She thought as an evil smirk appeared on her lips.
Her eyes went to the glass of water on the table, she hurriedly took it and she poured the water on him.
Milo woke up in fright, feeling his entire body wet with water, he didn't need anyone to tell him that it was Lillian who did that.
He stared at her pathetically, then he slowly stood up from the couch and he walked past her.
"Come back here Milo." Lillian barked and he halted.
"What do you want Lillian?" He said.
"Come with me now!" Lillian ordered as she climbed up the stairs and Milo trailed behind her.
They got back to their bedroom.
"Don't you see how unkempt this place is?" Lillian said.
Milo furrowed his brows, not understanding what she meant.
"You should make yourself useful, tidy up." She yelled.
"What!! but we have maids." He shrieked.
"I want you to do it yourself Milo, don't get me angry." She warned and he slowly nodded.
"I'll do it."
"Good." A sly smile appeared on her lips.
'I'll make sure you suffer for denying me access last night.' She thought.
"Be sure to finish tidying up before I'm done freshen up, I don't want to see any dirt." She said and Milo simply nodded.
"Use your mouth Milo, not your head." She barked.
"Yes ma'am." He replied.
"Ma'am?" Milo knew she hated it whenever he referred to her as ma'am.
"Sorry, Lillian." He corrected.
"Good!" Lillian said and she went into the bathroom.
Milo sighed and he went downstairs to bring the cleaning equipment.
******
Few minutes later, Milo was done cleaning, the room wasn't even dirty like what Lillian said.
He pursed his lips and he went and sat on the bed.
The bathroom door suddenly opened and Lillian came out with just a towel wrapped around her body.
"Milo!" She called and he stared at her.
He couldn't deny the fact that Lillian was beautiful, but too bad, he wasn't in any way attracted to her.
There's no possible way on earth he'll ever be attracted to a she devil like her.
"Ouch! Come here Milo." She pretended as though something was wrong with her.
Milo sluggishly stood up and he walked briskly to her.
"My back, I think something bit me, I need you to scratch it for me, it's itching me." She said dramatically.
"Umm... how am I supposed to do it?" Milo asks, he didn't care if she was hurt, but he knew if something bad happens to her, he'll have to answer to her Dad.
Lillian loosen her towel a bit, and she said. "Here."
"No I can't do it, you want me to touch your bare skin? I can't." Milo refused.
"Do it now!" Lillian yelled, switching tones.
It seems he loves things the hard way.
"What is the meaning of this Lillian? What are you trying to do?"
"What do you mean by that question Milo? And do not forget your words last night, you said so yourself, you are nothing but a dog to me, and a dog should always obey its master, don't you think?" She smiled.
Milo could do nothing but stare at her.
"How could you be so heartless Lillian." He said. Lillian scoffed.
"You seem to be growing bold now, don't ever forget your place Milo, just because I fancy you doesn't give you the right to act so bold." She said, then she took a fist full of his hair and held it tightly.
"Never. Forget. Your. Place." She said, then she let go of his hair.
"And why is the room still not clean?" She said, Milo frowned.
"I just cleaned it now, it's not dirty." Milo replied.
"Doesn't look so to me, do it again." She ordered.
"What!!?" Milo yelled.
"Don't raise your voice Milo, just do as I say, don't test my patience Milo."
"Fine, I'll do it again." Milo said in defeat.
"That's what I expected." She hissed, then she walked away.
Milo sighed dejectedly, he went downstairs again to get the cleaning equipment, and by the time he returned, Lillian was all dressed up, but she was putting on a simple mini gown, and he knew she wasn't going to the office today.
'What is this witch planning on doing today?' Milo thought.
"Don't just stand there like a statue Milo. Get to work!." She barked.
"Yes Lillian." Milo replied.
He immediately set to work, and within a few minutes, he was done.
"Good, now, the room looks much better." Lillian said.
"Return the cleaning equipment and meet me in the kitchen." She ordered, then she left.
"Will I ever be free from this torture?" he asked himself. "How long will I be able to endure this torment, this is all too much for me to bear." He added a second later.
He threw his head backwards in an attempt to prevent the tears that were threatening to fall.
"But for the sake of my family, I will have to endure this, for the sake of mom, I will have to bear all this, just like I always have." He said.
"Milo!!" Lillian yelled from downstairs.
"On my way." He yelled back, he took the cleaning equipment, then he left the room.
★
When Milo had returned the cleaning equipment, he went to the kitchen to meet Lillian. He couldn't believe what he saw when he got there, the kitchen sink was filled with so many dirty dishes.
His gaze moved to Lillian who had an evil smirk on her face, he needed no one to tell him that this was her doing.
"Clean up this mess." Lillian ordered.
"What!!?"
