Sure. He is fine as hell. He’s got the body of a god, but sure doesn’t have the soul to match. He’s just flat out rude, cocky, and arrogant. I’d like to rip his arms off and slap him with them.
Just thinking about him made me want to strangle someone. I clenched my teeth together and let out a heavy breath.
I groaned and smashed my fist on the table. It instantly broke in two, and I just stared at the table in awe along with the other students. « I didn’t know it would do that, » I mumbled and stood up.
I began walking towards the back entrance and could see people cower away as I walked by. Good. Scared of a little rogue wolf ? They’ll all be dead in a heart beat. Greyson doesn’t even know what the hell he’s doing.
I wandered out the back door and came in contact with the warm spring air. I walked over to a nearby tree and just stared at the brown trunk in front of me.
« Screw you, Liam ! » I yelled as I kicked the tree, hard.
« Screw you, Mariah ! » I yelled as I kicked it again.
« And to hell with you, Greyson ! » I shouted as I round house kicked the tree causing it to fall over. I growled at the fallen structure in front of me. Pathetic.
« Wow. Someone has some major anger management issues, » someone’s voice said from behind me. My head snapped to the direction from where the voice was coming from and I met the green eyes of Greyson’s beta. Tyler Daley.
« I don’t have time for an anger management class, » I spat. He smirked at me and walked closer to where I was standing. I didn’t move though. He could bite me for all I care. I always stand my ground.
« Maybe you should be training with someone a little more…your strength ? » Tyler said as he cocked an eyebrow.
« Tyler, ya know what ? You can go screw yourself, okay ? I don’t need some ippy boy telling me how I need to be trained, » I countered. He took a step closer to me so now we were only inches apart.
« Says the girl who just beat up a tree. I think that was a little unfair on his part, now wasn’t it ? » He said as he motioned toward the tree that now lay on the ground.
« Well thanks for the news flash, all mighty tree whisperer. Now why are you really here ? » I questioned. He smirked and sat a hand on my shoulder.
« You, my doll, are coming with me. Greyson’s a bit mad that you didn’t show up last night, » he said as he flashed his smile at me.
I grabbed a handful of his blonde hair and pulled down as I brought up my knee until it and his face made contact. I heard a groan and he collapsed on the ground in a heap. I went to take off, but I tripped over my own foot and ended up falling next to him.
He wrapped both of his arms around me and smirked.
« Damn. Greyson’s gonna have his hands full with you, » he joked. I scoffed and pushed him away slightly.
« Greyson can go screw himself or one of his lady friends, » I muttered as I attempted to wiggle my way out if Tyler’s grasp.
« Come on, Lex. You don’t gotta be like that, » Tyler said. My nose scrunched up in disgust.
« Do not call me that, » I growled out. If there is one thing I hate, it is my name because people change it. I like it exactly how it is. It does not need to be changed. I’ve changed enough in my life. My name does not need to be one of those things.
Tyler quickly threw his hands up in surrender and then quickly pulled out a pair of hand cuffs from his pocket.
« Oh, you have got to be kidding me. Handcuffs ? » I asked and he nodded as he began attaching them to my wrists. « Chicken shit, » I mumbled. I huffed and walked to where ever Tyler guided me.
We ended up walking to a grey Porsche. I hate to say it, but the car was gorgeous. I loved it.
« Who’s car ? » I asked nonchalantly. We didn’t stop walking as he opened the passenger door, and I slid in.
« New addition to Greyson’s family. I decided to take it for a spin, » he said as he got into the front seat.
« I hope he hurts you when he finds out, » I grumbled. He scoffed and put his hand over his heart in fake hurt.
« Ouch. Alex, that hurt. Truly. But sweetheart, I got permission, » he smirked and started the car. I just stared out the window as trees flew past us.
« So you don’t talk much, huh ? » Tyler asked. I gulped and let out a breath.
« I talk to people I like, » I said cooly. He chuckled at me and sped up a bit.
« Well then you must be in love with me. » I snapped my head in his direction and glared at him.
« What are you talking about Daley ? » I growled out.
« Oh. Feisty. I like it. » I just ignored him and continued to glare out the window. Moments passed and a silence settled between us. « So what happened to your ear ? » My head snapped in his direction. I couldn’t help the anger that suddenly arose in me.
« A rogue can cause some serious damage to a thirteen year old girl, » I said as my voice remained hard. He sucked in a breath and nodded.
« Listen..I didn’t try to make you upset-«
« Just shut up ! » I snapped. Tyler’s eyes grew and stared at me in complete shock.
« Sorry, » he mumbled. I turned my head towards the window once again.
From the corner of my eye I could see Tyler looking at me worriedly. I let out a small growl and his attention snapped back to the road.
We drove for about five more minutes until we were at their pack house. I could see some younger children running around in the front yard, some older couples on the deck, some mates just casually relaxing together. It reminded me of my old pack. When I didn’t have to worry about my mate, being a rogue, other packs, territories. None of that.
We quietly exited the car and headed toward the door. Parents held their children back and some pack members growled in my direction. I snarled back at them, and they all cowered away. Pathetic.
We walked through the front door and many eyes landed on me. I let my hair fall over the side of my face that the scars were on. I couldn’t help, but feel bad for the children who were gonna ask their parents what was wrong with me.
I followed behind Tyler until we reached a large door and the end of a long hall. He took the handcuffs off of my wrists and gave me a small smile. I kept the blank expression plastered on my face as Tyler knocked on the large oak door.
« Come in, » I heard a deep voice say. It sent chills down my spine and made my insides warm up, but at the same time made my mouth run dry.
Tyler opened the door slowly and a heavenly smell of like pine and spice invaded my nose. I stopped dead in my tracks and looked up at the god of a man in front of me. I guess I never really noticed how every single hair was perfectly placed on his head or how his cool, grey eyes seemed to have that little speck of baby blue in them that seemed to mesmerize me.
« Mine, » he growled out making a cool rush surge through me. He looked straight to Tyler, and he immediately left leaving only Greyson and I. Every bone in my body felt stiff as he stared at me like I was a piece of meat. I growled at him, and he raised an eyebrow at me. « Don’t disrespect your Alpha, kitten, » he growled, but it was more on the playful side. I wanted to roll my eyes and avoid at the use of the word. What a submissive thing to call your ‘soul-mate’.
« You’re not my Alpha, » I growled out, but not as loudly. Every minute in his presence seemed to weaken me. He took a step closer to me and put his hand under my chin. He tilted my head up, so I was looking at him. His grey eyes made exact contact with my blue ones.
« I guess we will just have to change that, » he said and leaned his head closer to mine. I don’t know what came over me, but I felt like it was only instinct to lean in as well. Our lips made contact and it seemed like my whole body was set ablaze. Every part of my body seemed to be set on fire, but it was a good kind. The kind that made you weak to your knees and want more. I wanted more.
