Chapter 4

Sometimes I wonder how do people wake up early in the morning by just one alarm ring on top of that they wake up so gracefully thay even Audrey Hepburn would cringe, R.I.P legend! or its just the writers?! I wonder..hmm

I woke up by the alarm booming for the 5th time, I let out a small cry but left my comfortable bed and headed to the washroom. After finishing my business with my eyes half open, I washed my face and fully took in my appearance while trying not to cringe. Dark brown hair almost black reached my mid back, green hazel eyes, bubble gum pink full lips and button top nose over all I have an average looks standing 5'7" tall.

I striped down for shower, while washing myself I thought about the house I will have to look for today, it's been 1 week since I received the news and for the past 5 days I have look for 15-20 apartment and I liked none. I was thinking of getting a penthouse at first but nothing that i saw was even worth half of what they were asking for. Now you'd say why don't I move in with Caleb, and that would be the most practical, logical and efficient way for me BUT *sarcastic laugh* I don't wanna live in a place where there is an orgy after ever two days. Anyway, I am quite excited for today, as I will be going to the Kings Residence, yes Kings, as in Caleb Kings, that dunce is my adopted brother well more like I am the adopted one but still they are my parents and I am having dinner with them.

Now I have been there for millions of time but today was special, Alexander will be there too aaahhhh. I might have a tinee-tiny crush on him, I mean who wouldn't those hypnotizing blue eyes, curly black hair, sharp jawline and killer body. I didn't realize that there was an ache between my legs, that has been there for 17 long years not literally though and only his something can cure but for the time being I am using a cheaper substitute, called my fingers.

After the shower I put on a pair of light blue jeans and yellow off shoulder top. I called Caleb, on the 3rd ring he picked up

"What up Godzilla?!" His voice full of enthusiasm, it made my mood brighter

"Nothing panda-boo, I wanted to tell you that I am skipping college today. I have a lot to do, so don't come to pick me up."

"Okay, but I have to collect some certificates from college after that I'll come to your place." He said in his deep manly voice but before I can reply he said, " you know what? You have a bad taste in houses and all so I'll help you house hunting!!" He cut the call just after that before I could disagree, I just rolled my eyes and headed towards the kitchen.

I had to make strawberry and chocolate cookies and blueberry cheese cake for mom and dad, a.k.a Rose Kings and Jason Kings, Caleb's and Alexander's parents. They both love me like their daughter because they don't have one and I don't have parents. My parents died in a car crash when I was 7 years old and I didn't have any relatives so I lived with the Kings till I turned 18.

Anyways, mom loves my strawberry and chocolate cookies and dad loves the cheesecake that i make. The Kings dinner only had 5 members are there mom, dad, Caleb, Alexander and me. I started putting all the ingredients together for the cookies and cake.

After about 10 mins I'm the process, the front door opened declaring Caleb's arrival, he has key to my apartment. "I got food, I knew you didn't eat anything!" He said as he came striding inti the living room and setting up the food on the dinning table.

I washed my hands and patted my hand dry on my jeans. I took the seat opposite to Caleb as he was taking out the food, "I got some waffles, bacon and scrambled eggs for us. I have your cappuccino, there was no latte." he finished with a dazzling smile, I shook my head and chucked "did I tell you how much I love you my little brother" I saw something flash in his eyes but he maintained his posture, WEIRD.

In a second he had a mischievous glint I'm his eyes, " babygirl I am bigger than anyone out there!!" He said puffing his chest out. I ignored him and ate my breakfast, after finishing it I asked more like ordered him to help me bake it.

Asking him for help was one the worst mistake because 5 mins in it Caleb was covered in flour with me giving him death glare and him looking at the ground. "Caleb wash up yourself and then we will go looking for apartments" I said as calmly as possible, he nodded like an obedient kid and went to his room.

I prepared everything by the time Caleb arrived, "Godzilla I am still telling you come live with me." He tried to convince me for the nth time to move in with him "as much as I want to come live with you I can't" I said shaking my head, he came and held my hand "give me one reason why you don't want to come."

"Orgy!" That's all I said. He didn't say anything after that and then we set off for house hunting.

5 hours later,

We've been to 5 diffrent apartments, i liked one of them which was a few miles away from where i am living now and the price wasn't too high either. I literally had to plead Caleb to take my car, though he agreed when I bribed him with cookies. So now we are on our way back to my apartment, "you'll come by yourself or do I have to pick you up?" Caleb asked breaking the silence. "Yes you don't have to come to pick me up..I would be there" I replied, we soon reached our destination and Caleb took off to his place after giving me a hug.

I put the cookies and cake in the oven for 2 hours and I'll be ready by the time they will be done. I really didn't want to dress up so I decided to wear some jeans and off shoulder crop top, I put them on my bed and went off to take a shower. I patted myself dry and blow dried my hair then curled them, when I check my phone there were 4 missed calls from Ethan so I decided to call him back.

"Yellooww ana" I rolled my eyes at his stupidity but answered anyway

"Yellow James, you called? Actually I was taking a shower"

"Yeah I heard that someone will be there for the dinner today" my cheeks tinted red at the mention of Alex, Ethan knew that I had a crush on him.

"Yeah finally he will be there after canceling for the previous 3" I heard him chuckle light

"So what have you decided to wear today"

"Just jeans and crop top" I replied

"Omg Diana, Alexander will be there and you'll just wear some jeans and top, which I might add you wear everyday!" He exclaimed like a 17 year old school girl going to her first date. "You don't have to worry just go in the shower and shave, I'll come and decided what you'd wear" to say I was offended would be an understatement but I did what I was told to after cutting off the call.

Ethan came within 15 mins and without any greetings strode in my closet, he started throwing dresses that he thought would be nice but those shit was way to revealing. He decided on a black bodycon dress, he pushed me inside the washroom to change.

It fitted perfectly to my body, showing off my assets. I looked very good in that, I came back in my room to see Ethan take out my makeup bag and set it on my table. He orders me to sit om the chair while he did his magic one me, did I tell you guys that Ethan has a great taste in fashion and beauty.

He was done after 45 mins and let me tell you I looked bomb!!

I had purple eyeshadow, peach lip gloss and soft contour, the makeup wasn't overdone it was just perfect. I finished my outfit by pairing up silver heels, I thanked Ethan for his wonderful he just brushed it off and headed back home not before stealing come cookies! Dumbass but I still do love him.

I put the cookies and cake in separate containers and went to my BMW i8 and headed towards the Kings Mansion.
