The Crisis at the Mall
"Mom, that stupid bitch, how could she be so beautiful, wasn't she sent to a warring state?" Susan smashed the teacup in rage as she yelled.
All the weak image she put up in the face of Jack and Hank was long gone.
"You need to calm down Susan, you can’t risk upsetting yourself,” Vera urged the raging Susan.
Susan was livid as her face was as red as a monkey's butt "Mom, didn't you see Jack looking at Alexa with such an infatuated gaze? Why, why does she have everything I ever wanted in the palm of her hands... Just why?"
"Compose yourself," Vera's face tightened as she said in a cold voice.
"You almost gave away yourself there, don't do anything stupid, I will handle this mess?" Vera turned around to leave only to stop by the door.
"As for your husband, don't lose him, you know that he is our insurance against your father... If he leaves you, your life will crumble so you better behave,"
"Alexa, I hate hate hate hate you... I freaking hate
you!!!" Susan screamed after the door was shut.
"Hmm, this place is so cool, so much fancier than Jade country," Mary smiled as she was shopping for clothes.
As Mary turned to the gown section, her eyes got attracted to a lilac-coloured dress that had butterfly markings engraved in it.
"The dress will be so perfect for Alexa, the lilac will contrast beautifully with her skin and her hair, I must get this for Alexa"
"Give me this dress," an arrogant voice sounded accompanied with a hand that grabbed the dress from Mary's hands.
"Hmm," Mary frowned as she saw the dress she picked out for Alexa snatched by someone.
"What are you doing right now?" Mary raised her eyes at the two ladies in front of her.
Two ladies, one soft and always smiling and one arrogant like a peacock with a head full of red hair.
Susan who was super furious after the meeting with Alexa and the reprimand of Vera was the soft one, while Alice, a new rising star that falters her all round to get a role in a movie invested by Hanks.
"Susan, this dress will look marvelous on you, don't you think?" Alice, the flamboyant red haired girl spoke gently to Susan with lowered shoulders.
Susan was definitely interested in the dress as her eyes showed greed for it but she still had to pretend she wasn't.
"This....you don't have to buy it for me Alice, this cloth is in six figures, it's super expensive for you to buy,"
Susan definitely wanted the dress as her eyes were glued to it but her mouth kept saying another thing.
"This scheming bitch, who are you trying to fool here? Alice gritted her teeth as she cussed Susan inwardly but she was smiling brightly on the outside.
"What do you mean? I can afford this clothes for you, it isn't expensive at all,” Alice gritted her teeth as her heart stung in pain at the thought of parting away with millions.
"Excuse me? That cloth is already taken, you can choose another one," Mary who was ignored by the two people all this while coldly said.
"Who is this country bumpkin? Quickly go back to the gutters where you belong," Alice frowned as she saw Mary. In the face of real socialites like Susan, she was as humble as a slave but towards the weak, she was a bully.
"That.... That's correct ma, this dress is already paid for by this lady over here so you can choose another outfit," the sales girl said meekly.
She really didn't want to offend Alice and Susan but the dress was already paid for.
"What.... Hey, you country side girl, give back that dress right this instant? Do you even know the significance of that dress, that's a limited edition and it's just five all over the world,"
"That piece in your hand is the only piece in our country so you better give the dress to people who are worthy of it," Alice snorted and said.
In her opinion, Mary was just the daughter of some nouveau riche who was squandering without knowledge.
Mary just smiled at the arrogant Alice and turned to look at Susan, "So, this is the damn Susan who gave my baby girl a hard time? She doesn't even look special," Mary sneered.
"You want the dress right?" Mary stretched the packaged item to Susan, to which Susan nodded,
“Yes, I want it, I don't know if this miss can give it to me, I will be indebted to you,” Susan proudly said.
"Pay me then, if you can pay me for the dress, I can give it to you?" Mary shrugged her shoulders.
"What?" The proud smile on Susan's face faded as she looked at Mary with annoyance.
"Doesn't this poor thing know me, I am Susan the superstar, she should consider it an honor I am even taking something from her, how dare she ask me to pay?"
Mary noticed the annoyance on Susan's face and sneered, "This woman can't compare to her sister, Alexa at all, she is so fake, I will pull that mask off today,"
"What, don't you have money to pay up?" Mary tilted her head as shock was evident in her face.
"No... I ...." Susan turned and glared at Alice motioning her to speak up.
"We have money, do you know what this is? It's a diamond bank card, we can buy this dress over and over with this?" Alice faunted the card with her chin raised high.
Seeing Mary was silent, she taunted more, “You know what? I will even buy the dress ten times the amount so as to expose commoners like you to the world?"
"Oh, the total amount for the dress and accessories is $1,000,000 but you will pay ten times so $10,000,000,” Mary's gloomy facade faded as a victorious smile graced her face.
"You are a thief, why will I give you that amount of money, you sleazy little…”
“Shut up" Susan angrily scolded Alice in her heart, "She really is a pig brain and so useless, if not because I need a follower, who will hang out with this fool?"
"Miss, my friend was really too much but you shouldn't just take her word for it, she made a mistake so…”
“ I disagree with you, everyone here heard it, she was so sure to pay ten times the price to get the item, you saying I shouldn't take her words, aren't you just calling her a moron, you sure are the model 'friend',”
"This....I...." Susan choked and burst into tears as she held her heart.
The sales girl who was previously siding with Susan looked at Susan with a weird gaze. "What is this? Is my idol such a fake person, your friend made a high rising talk but can't even pay for her words and yet you are trying to play the victim by putting on a sad face,"
Even Mary was shocked at the development of the entire thing, "Hey, I just need my Money, why are you crying as if I hit you? if you have no money, I am outta here,"
"No, what I... I will pay for the dress, Susan shakily transferred the money as she looked at Mary with a furious gaze.
At that point, she wasn't even trying to hide her displeasure and that made the salesgirl grow more disappointed with Susan.
"So she is like the rest of them, all packaging their vile characters''
"Thank you so much, your money will do a lot,” Mary collected the money as she met Susan's eyes without fear and a bit of mocking.
