"Boss,” Alexa smiled with distress as she turned around to face a tall handsome man with a military cloak draped around his shoulders.

"You can go, I won't tell you to stay…”

“Boss, what are you saying?" Mary shouted in surprise.

Even Alexa was shocked as she looked at Jeremy in surprise, the Jeremy she knew was an overprotective guy who couldn't even stand the thought of his people getting bullied and that eventually became the style of the lion region.

"Mary, don't you know Alexa? She would never do anything that is disadvantageous to her so she has a reason to go back and we can't stop her,”

"But...you of all people know her suffering, how she literally learnt everything learnable, how she tortured herself, how she hungered for knowledge, was it just to have knowledge.... it's obvious, she has a debt of revenge,"

"Alexa, you can go and get that revenge of yours but don't you ever get hurt, if you do..." Jeremy reached closer to touch her head which Alexa subconsciously avoided.

"I am sorry I ...I will come and get the revenge for you" Jeremy completed the sentence as he let down his hand awkwardly, his eyes hiding pain in them.

Alexa, who was apologizing, frowned as she felt more hatred for Jack, ever since Jack broke her heart, she subconsciously rejected all men even Jeremy who was like an older brother and father to her.

"I must have my revenge?" Alexa muttered.

"Hmmm, fine, Alexa we will both go then, it just happens that I have no idea what other countries look like,this is a good time for a classic tour" Mary broke the silent atmosphere between the two people.

The two people said immediately without delay as they stopped Mary.

Mary, the daughter of the president of Jade country, how could she leave the country without notice?, that was asking for death from the rivals of Jade country.

Though Jade country was called the warring country, it was actually the dream country of most people as it contained the most natural resources in the earth, ranging from diamonds, gold, coal and all sorts.

Its wealth made it a target to terrorists and other countries which was why the country was called the warring country and was heavily protected by the united nations who put Jeremy to the task.

"What are you all saying now? I am going, that's it, don't try to stop me?" Mary refused.

"You ...you are the heiress to this country, how can you just leave like that?" Jeremy poured cold water on her.

"I know I am the princess, if all is well, I will be queen of this beautiful country. Of course, I want to stay but my friend needs me, I am not going to let her go to the lion's den alone."

It was rare for Mary who was always goofy to show such a serious side and actually put someone else above her interest.

Her declaration warmed Alexa's heart as she shook her head at the girl who was trying to show a strong side. She has sure grown up.

"Fine, you can do what you want, take this as a test, if you can't be of help to Alexa, you will come back and start your trial training," Jeremy sternly warned the dancing Mary.

"I know....I. Know....you all couldn't resist my beauty and had to agree," the goofy Mary returned as the serious Mary faded, as if she was just an illusion.

"Beautiful My foot...." Jeremy had had enough of the narcissist Mary and turned to leave.

Alexa just smiled and nodded "she really is a femme fatale, the gorgeous dark beauty heard in myths," Alexa muttered as she gazed at Mary's face, sharp features, high nose bridge, blue eyes, smooth honey kissed skin and impressive long legs, a walking disaster that can cause ruin, Mary.

The two quickly packed and took a private plane during the night, to make the arrival discreet.

Due to the distance between the two countries, they arrived in the early hours of the morning.

"Wow, this is the San Diego you speak of, it's pretty but it has the smell of industries unlike jade which is so natural," Mary smiled so happily as she took in everything she saw .

As she was happily looking, others were also staring at her and Alexa, standing side by side. They looked like two international models as everything served as a backdrop in the face of their elegance.

"Mary, you can look around, go get a house for us and get yourself an ID card, those people are coming to get me and I don't want them to see you," Alexa gave instructions, which Mary immediately followed.

Despite Mary's goofy behavior, as the princess of a country, she had amazing skills and her knowledge was immaculate and so adapting to the new country was not a problem.

"Take care of yourself, Alexa."

Few minutes after Mary left, a Maybach pulled over and Alexa was escorted back to the Sanders villa.

"I am going to get my revenge and also find out what actually happened between my mom and dad, for a long time," Alexa clenched her fists in determination, as she went into the lion's den.

"Truly a happy family?" Alexa sneered as she saw the peaceful family surrounding Susan as if she was some fragile object.

"Alexa you are here, I am still angry with you so I will get straight to the point,your sister is currently ill and she is in need of a heart...your heart so you are going to….”

“ .....give her my heart,” Alexa coldly interrupted Hank.

"You...are you actually my Dad or was I picked up from the gutters?" Alexa asked as she clenched her fists in pain, she thought she was strong enough but Hank still pierced her heart with his ruthlessness.

"What on earth are you saying? You are the elder sister, shouldn't you give help to your younger sister when she is in danger?" Hank frowned as he felt nothing was wrong in what he said.

"My mom had a serious heart issue too, why didn't you give her your own heart since you are her husband," Alexa retorted back.

For trash like this who had no conscience, she couldn't even spare any face for him.

"How could you talk to your father like this, sister, he was just speaking up for me, I understand that this is hard for you to do but you...you have hurt me so many times so this isn't really a big deal, if you love me...you will do this for me right?" Susan sobbed weakly in Jack’s arms.

"I hate you,"

"What," Susan choked on her cry as she glared at Alexa.

"You said if I love you, I would give you my heart, so I hate you, I hate you so much I can't kill myself for you. Are you happy with my explanation?”

"You are just a demon, how could you be so cruel?" Vera interrupted with tears in her eyes.

"Aunt, give her your heart then," Alex rolled her eyes at Vera and picked up her bag and left.

She had wanted to get her mother's things, but now, that's obviously not possible, so another day.

"You little bitch, get back here," Vera screamed as she watched Alexa leave.

She couldn't stop her with the guards as Jack was there so she could only grit her teeth as Alexa left.
