Chapter 8

She did not know why his eyes were so cold and emotionless.

She imagined what he would look like if his eyes were alive-looking.

Handsome especially maybe. Maybe it would look great in him.

Ah, why is this what he thinks?

"Are you done staring at me?"

Her face immediately turned red. "I'm not staring at you!" Patty stubbornly refused.

"Hmm."

"Are you from here?"

"No."

"You're ugly," he said to himself. It stared at him. "Menopausal," Patty said in her own words. She just smiled when she saw the man's bad look at her. It looks like this!

He ran into his room. He’s not afraid of it, FYI. Just a bit. He wasn't running away from him, okay? Maybe just a little bit. Just a little bit.

INSTEAD of doing room service, Patty decided to eat at the resort restaurant. Arriving at the main dining area, he noticed that the place was almost full. He can sit outside especially with the beautiful view there but almost couples are there. Getting out of place for a single like him.

“Patty! Hey! ”

He turned to call her. He saw Azi waving at him. "Hi, Azi," he greeted when he got close to it.

"You're not with me?"

He shook his head.

“Sit here. Come eat with my friend`s min. ”

"Is it OK?"

"Of course."

"Thank you," Patty said then sat in the vacant chair opposite Azi. "Where is your friend?"

“Just going. I think it was amazing, ”he said shaking his head. "How is the resort?"

“Your resort is beautiful, Azi! The view, the structure of the hotel, the cabin at the sea, even the openbath… everything are well-thought and built. It’s like I’m in a paradise. ”

"That's good to hear." Azi was about to say something when his gaze passed her. “Caleb is already here. Caleb! ” he shouted then raised his hand.

Patty turned to Azi's friend. Her eyes widened when she saw Caleb referring to her stuck and "menopausal" neighbor.

"You again?!" he exclaimed.

It raised an eyebrow at him. He sat down next to her then turned the menu on the table. It didn't even say hi or hello! Argh!

"Will you meet?" si Azi `yon.

"No!" Patty and Caleb answered at the same time.

"Really, huh," Azi said while smiling foolishly on the lips.

"I don't know this… this stupid frog!" Patty insults Caleb.

"I also don't know this clumsy idiot."

Azi's smile could not be erased. “Patty, meet my best friend Caleb Salazar. Caleb, Patty. He was an underclassman and a friend of Pauline in high school. ”

Patty saw the color escape on Caleb's face. It violently turned to him. He could not read any emotion on its face. He really wants to be fooled by the look it gives him. Then it suddenly shook and then smirked again.

"What's wrong with you, huh ?!" Patty growled at Caleb. He does not know but his behavior is getting worse because of this man.
