Chapter 7

Patty gradually smiled. She realized the Del Valle’s were good people. She wanted to tell them the truth but she felt like it wasn’t the right time to do so. She wasn’t ready yet. There was still this voice inside her that was holding her back. She was still scared of the outcome.

"I also know Doc Blake," he said suddenly.

He saw the shock on Azi's face but soon smiled. “Small world. How’s doc? The last time I saw him was five years ago. ”

“He’s doing great. He also taught me this El Corazon. ”

“How did you meet — ah, you are a nursing graduate. No wonder. Small world, huh. ” Azi suddenly had a faraway look in his eyes. It blinked and then continued to say, "Where are you staying now?"

"On the Coastline," he replied shyly.

Its eyes twinkled. “Really? Great. If you want a tour guide, I’m free. ”

“Hala, not anymore. It's embarrassing. ”

“No. Pauline's friend is also my friend. ”

Patty smiled. Azi was like her brother, Pace, in that regard.

Azi was about to say something when his cellphone suddenly rang.

"Ah, go ahead, I'll be the first," he said to give it privacy.

"See you, Patty," he said.

When he got back to the car, Patty rubbed his chest. That meeting was nerve-wrecking but a nice experience as well. She hoped the other meetings would be as nice as that. She hoped that in time, she would be able to tell them the truth. She hoped time could erase this scary feeling.

FROM the balcony of the cabin Patty looked out over the beautiful scenery. He sees the sea. The cabin he took was exactly two people. Have your own balcony, bath, kitchen, even a small openbath overlooking the vast ocean.

Patty put both arms on the baluster and then lowered herself. The place is so beautiful so sad because he is alone.

Patty looked at the adjoining balcony when she heard the door open and close. Patty smiled and turned to her "neighbor" but immediately frowned when the man nodded.

“It’s you!” exclaimed Patty.

This is the man he bumped into at the mall in Manila who was shouted at and even slapped! How can he forget this, eh, he's so beautiful here? Handsome, bad manners. What was he doing here ?!

The man turned to her while frowning. "Me?"

“Yes, you! You are the only one I bumped into at the mall in Manila! ”

The man acted thoughtfully. “Ah. You are that clumsy idiot. ”

Clumsy? Idiot? Why!

“Your thickness, ha! For your information, you are the clumsy and idiot! `Tse.” He smirked at it.

The man just shook his head and then smirked again.

Patty just folded her arms and then turned her attention back to the scene. But unbeknownst to her, this man is drawing her attention. He simply observed it.

His chocolate colored eyes were so pretty if only it wasn’t so cold looking.
