Chapter 3
"WHAT should I give to Third? I want to give him something that he will like," Chain whispered softly as she looked at the displayed trinkets in one of the shops on the ground floor east wing of the SBU. Tomorrow will be Third's game and she would have liked to give him a good luck gift. "Should I just give him cookies?"
"Self-talk is a sign of loss of sanity," said a voice coming from behind her.
Chain almost choked, especially since he felt a warm breath touch his ear. He rubbed his ear and then frowned at Ten who spoke.
Tennessee Almario was Third’s younger brother. He is a year older than her and her course is like Accountancy. Ten is a member of the soccer club. He was probably one of the most popular guys here in SBU.
He was a kind guy like Third… when in front of other people. Chain is the only one who knows this bad habit. In front of other people, Ten can't break a plate. Always smile as if you were an angel but when he is in front of you, his horn comes out!
He got her friends fooled by his good boy act as well. But Chain would never be fooled by him and his act.
"What?! You suddenly show up, ”he said annoyed.
A smile remained on Ten's lips but he saw the mischief pass through his eyes.
"Hi, Ten!" suddenly some women passed by here.
"Hello," he smiled back before turning to her again. "What are you looking for? Maybe I can help."
He rightly refuses when he changes his mind. His older brother is Third and he is also a member of the sports club. Maybe he can think of an answer to his dilemma.
"What is good to give a man before a game match?"
Ten acted thoughtfully. Eventually it stretched closer to him which is why the distance between their faces became almost tangled.
"A gift, hmm?"
"Y-yes."
“How about a… kiss?”
Chain's eyes widened. "K-kiss ?!"
Ten and I straightened up and then laughed softly. His palm rose then he messed up his hair. “It was a joke. You’re too easy to tease, Chain. ”
He tapped Ten's palm then stared at it. "Whatever."
Chain's gaze followed Ten's distant figure. He did not escape the gaze of the female students on the male. She could not blame them. Ten was really handsome. He would always have a smile in his face (even if it was fake). The man is tall and has brown skin. Its skin color adds to its appeal.
Maybe most women like white men but Ten can afford to keep up with them. He has this certain aura around him that would make you look at him twice and you could not take your eyes off him after that second look. It matches the chocolate color of its eyes that become lighter when the sun shines. His thin lips matched his aristocratic nose and cheeks.
