Chapter 11
Chain knew it was wrong to be jealous but she could not help but envy her sister. She was so perfect. She got good grades, she was a star player of their team, and she got Third. She has everything she wanted and needed in her life and it felt like she could not even compare to her.
What about her? Trying-hard tennis player. Her grades are low. There's no Third next to her.
Chain is not lacking in love. Her parents never once compared her to Ate Aina. He is the one who is wrong. He always compares himself to his sister. He's the one who feels like he is not enough for the parents.
This envy in her heart was slowly suffocating her.
Did she hate her sister? Goodness, no. She was just wishing she could be as good as her. But she never hated her sister — even if sometimes, it felt like her sister hated her. She sometimes could feel it in her stare, could hear it in her tone when talking about her.
Chain frowned when he felt something hot on his knees. He glared at Third. His face was full of concern as he looked at her.
"Is there a problem?"
He shook one after another. “No, no. I just think too deeply. ”
Third's eyes sank so he immediately avoided looking at it. Ten's gaze shifted. His eyebrows were slightly raised as if teasing. He stared at the man with a slight laugh.
"Tell me if Ten is bullying you," Third said weakly. His breath hit his ear causing his hair to grow back on his neck.
"S-sure."
He smiled at her and it felt like his smile could cure even cancer. Of course it was just his exaggeration.
He was so different to Ten. No wonder she liked Third and hated Ten. Complete opposite kasi.

@driacrawford_: Wish you were here, bestie. But enjoy Ten, eh. HAHAHA!
Chain frowned when he read Dria's post on Instagram. That is a picture of them while in Monster Meal. But here he is, in the library while waiting for his great tutor (can you hear the sarcasm?) Ten.
He? Enjoy with Ten ?! As if!
Chain lowered himself and then turned off the mobile data of the cellphone. Even if he wanted to run away from Ten he could not. His mother will surely scold him again. He had no choice but to endure Ten's presence. Her mother said that when her scores in the exams increase, Ten will stop being her tutor. Chick, `sus.
He was bored waiting for Ten so he decided to look for a book to read. He was close to the Literature section when he heard a familiar voice.
“You are being too hard on yourself, Aina. Breathe a little, will you? ”
He simply peeked through the gap and saw the figure of Third and Ate Aina. Third was hugging her sister and they looked so intimate with each other. She felt like intruding the moment so she decided to walk away with a heavy heart.
When he returned to his seat, Chain rubbed his chest. It was as if something pinched his heart when he saw the figure of Third and Ate Aina hugging. Ate Aina got everything and it seemed that she even have Third’s love.
While Chain got nothing.
"Sorry I'm late."
Chain blinked when he heard Ten. He sat across from her and placed books on the table. He was silent. He just nodded in response.
"Is there a problem?"
He shook his head. "N-nothing." Oh, God. Why did her voice break like that?
“Is anyone oppressing you? Are you zero in on the quiz? ”
Chain laughed slightly but he could just feel the tears running down his cheeks. He immediately covered his palms with his face and then lowered his face to the table. She felt pathetic crying in front of her nemesis but she felt like her heart was breaking into pieces.
"There, there," Ten said after placing his palm on his head. He gently stroked her hair as if she were a toddler. “Stop crying, Chain. They may think I am fighting you, what about me? ”
There was teasing in her voice in contrast to her tender caress of her head. Contradicting.
