CHAPTER 4

"What do you want here Alessandro."His gaze landed on Leo Sabrina turned the car seat away from his piercing glare she can't afford for him to put one into one her father had easily figured out that Leo isn't Craig's son.

"Beautiful boy you have here."

"Thank you."She replied.

"How old is he?"

"Seven months."

"Is he the reason for the secret wedding."His drink arrive.

"I don't like to talk about my private life."Those eyes were burning a hole into her it's like he can see past all the barriers she's put up."What are you doing here?"She asked again.

"I had lunch with a business associate around here I saw when you entered the restaurant."He wonders who she was waiting for he knows she's been sitting here for an hour.

"How convenient."She murmured."Well I'm sure you have better things to do than sit here we don't want to keep you."

"Far from it I'm actually enjoying myself the air would do me good."He took a long sip from his espresso Sabrina didn't know what to think his presence is clouding the rational part of her brain she shouldn't sit here and socialise with him especially since Leo is here."What's his name."He saw her stiffen."It's okay if you don't want to tell me."

"Leo."Sabrina answered after a few minutes.

"Strong name.Did Craig give him the name."

"No I did."She said.

"Why are you getting agitated."He searched her gaze.

"I don't like being questioned."

"Is it.Or could it be you afraid of something."

"I have no idea what you referring to or talking about.I have nothing to hide."

"We all do Sabrina including you."He watched as she nervously entwined her fingers together if only she knew he already knows everything about her and why she married Craig what he'd like to know is why a newly wedded pregnant bride would leave her husband for a whole year to go and have her baby elsewhere without the father being present it didn't make sense to him and he was intent on finding out."Are you waiting for your husband."

"No my sister."The sister that's never short of male company and is also sleeping with her sister's husband,it disgusts him he cannot understand why Sabrina still tolerates such a man and sleeps with him on top of that she made a baby with him what was she thinking.

"What were thinking when you made a baby with a man who's sleeping with your sister."She gasped she couldn't help it hearing someone else browse those words out loud sounded so disgusting and surreal even though it is the truth."Don't deny it I've seen and know enough."

"I wasn't going to."She admitted."I don't care what Craig does or with whom he's a grown man as long as he doesn't-..."She stopped when she realise what she was about to say,she almost told him the truth about his son.

"Doesn't what?"Alessandro probed.

"Nothing.You should leave."Leo began to fuss she stuck his pacifer into his mouth but he spit it out."You hungry my boy."She half whispered to herself.

Alessandro handed her his bag taking out his bottle she gave it to him as always Leo drank he has a big appetite just like his father she thought and if you don't feed him immediately he'll scream your head off her mind drifted back to all those nights when he wouldn't let her sleep she smiled at the memory."Am I the reason for that beautiful smile on your face."Her cheeks turned pink she completely forgot he's here."I guess I am."He said when he got no answer.

"Don't flatter yourself."She closed Leo's bottle and stood up."It's time for us to go my angel."

"Always in a hurry to get away from me Sabrina."I don't have much of a choice she told him in her head either that or risk you finding out the truth, putting Leo's bottle in his bag she picked up her purse to take money out and pay for her drink but then Leo began to cry.

"We leaving honey just give mommy a few seconds."Her soothing voice did nothing to calm him his cries only grew louder Sabrina saw a few heads looking in their direction clearly Leo's cries were disruptive setting her purse down she reached down to lift him up but Alessandro came and quickly scooped Leo out of his car seat.

"Hey Leo."He said,immediately Leo kept quiet and gazed at his dad with big round eyes. Sabrina's nerves were on high alert as Alessandro held Leo the two of them stared at each other then her son did something that shocked her his tiny hand went up to touch his father's cheek she could see even Alessandro was shocked by the move.

Leo smiled at him and she watched as Alessandro returned it he touched Leo's hand and his fingers closed over his finger.They don't even know each other or that they are father and son but already their first private meeting is so magical it touched Sabrina's heart.

He doesn't even know Leo but he's showing such affection towards him he thinks Leo is Craig's son and despite knowing that he isn't treating her son any different or rejecting him for who his father is.

Whereas Craig can't stand the fact that Leo is someone else's he's never even held Leo or look at him and if her son begins to cry then he would get all angry and irritated and storm out of the house because he can't handle Leo's cries.Goes to show how different they are and why she dislikes Craig and how easy it can be to fall for a man like Alessandro.

She could do nothing but stare at them watch as they silently formed a bond,a bond that will never truly form because they can't know each other.He's gentle with Leo his tone soft as he spoke to her son and Leo was enjoying himself, can her son feel it does he know this is his father is that the reason he's at ease with Alessandro.

They say parents can feel their children does Alessandro feel it too could there be a possibility....No she won't think that way."Is he always this friendly."Alessandro asked her a broad smile on his handsome features.

Not really if any stranger picks him up he would cry that's why it's so surprising that Leo kept quiet the minute Alessandro picked him up."He usually isn't so comfortable around strangers."

"Then I'm lucky I guess."Extremely Sabrina thought."Even your mom cannot resist my charms but that's our little secret.Don't tell your daddy."

"Doesn't it bother you."She asked,Sabrina couldn't hold the question back anymore.

"What?"Confusion clear in his eyes.

"That he's Craig son."She said.

"No."He said without blinking."It's not Leo's fault who his father is we cannot choose our family. He's innocent I won't treat him differently because I don't like his father I'm not that cruel or heartless.Ready to go."She nodded,quickly she put her purse in Leo's bag and followed him out Sabrina was holding an empty car seat as she led Alessandro to her parked car."You have a beautiful boy."He told her again when she was done strapping Leo in.

"Thank you,I really have to go."

"Have dinner with me."Sabrina's hand froze on the door handle she met his eyes he couldn't be serious but he was she realised a second later.

"I can't Alessandro I'm married."

"Don't tell me you really care about Craig's feelings."She doesn't but she can't afford to be alone with him,she can't risk being in his presence and not want him to touch or kiss her,and if he can kiss her she wouldn't want him to stop.

"What if I don't want to have dinner with you."

"I'll keep on asking until you agree."

"Why?"She sighed.

"I'd like to get to know you is that reason enough."

Sabrina took two deep breaths."Fine.On one condition."

"Name it."Does he have to be so god damn gorgeous every time he smiles she thought.

"I'm not sleeping with you."

His grin grew broader."I accept."
