Along the side of the forest, crunching of leaves and twigs could be heard. Ready to pounce at any moment, the little cub with white fur and gold stripes was ready to jump. Seeing the large adult white tiger with black stripes residing beside the tiger was a little lion cub. She had jumped lashing out to the lion cub. Just as she jumped, she hadn't recognized but the bush beside her had moved harshly as she had been caught around the back of the neck. None other than the emperor or ruler of Qiliang Kingdom.

"Father, if you keep doing this then I won't get any better at hunting or preying." Liu Fu Juan sighed before saying in their beast language. She looked angrily to her father who was none other than Liu Gang.

"Father does this to show you that you haven't reached there, yet." Liu Gang said to his little one. Carrying her around the neck with his mouth as he had walked over to Xue Liang and Liu Feng who were watching everything then setting her down. "Although, there has been some improvement that I saw." He said lastly.

"No, it looks the same at age ten. It hasn't changed since the last time, age five." Liu Feng said teasing his baby sister.

"What like you are any better!?" Liu Fu Juan said growling to her brother ready to attack any moment. Which he growled back trying to show dominance.

"Easy you two. Remember what happened the last time you both went at it." Xue Liang said growling more scarier leaving them to shiver.

Both remembered the last time they did so, they were taken to the highest mountain peak near Qiliang Kingdom. They didn't want to return to the mountain where it had danger all night and left to sleep there for the day.

"We understand mother." Both said looking down showing surrender to her.

"This is why I married you. I wouldn't have been able to punish them like you." Liu Gang said as his lion licked his wife's tiger's cheek. Both Liu Feng and Liu Fu Juan sat down looking at their parents.

"Mother, how did you meet father?" Liu Fu Juan wanted to desperately know how her parents met each other. Xue Liang looked down to see her daughter making the kitten face. She sighed knowing she could never beat such cuteness.

"Your father actually saved me. He was quite young and he found me hurt in a ditch. It was pretty deep, but he and your Uncle Lim had saved me and your Aunt Rong. The funny thing is your father didn't even know that I was the little tiger at first stuck in the ditch." Liu Fu Juan listened as she smiled. She had always asked and every time her mother told her different things about how her parents had good and bad events.

Listening to them made her happy. Knowing that such a thing as their feline kind were living among humans. Looking to her older brother he listened and focused well. He would usually hang out with Peng Wei who was Uncle Lim and Aunt Rong's son.

"Fu Juan! Feng!" Seeing and hearing a familiar voice it was none other than Peng Wei. They turned their heads to see their aunt Su Rong and uncle Peng Lim. They were in their feline forms walking alongside as their son ran ahead of them. He had the snow leopard's white fur like his father.

"Hey, Wei? What's got you excited?" Liu Feng asked him as he jumped up and down.

"Nothing, just happy that I got to meet you both again." The three cubs sat around each other at the adults stayed with each other.

"Hey, you both want to go somewhere and have fun. It's much better that staying here." Liu Feng said to the two of the other cubs. They looked to their parents and then to Liu Feng.

"Okay, I'm in." Liu Fu Juan said wagging her little tail behind her. Her brother can see it clearly that she had liked the thought. Looking to Peng Wei if he was in or not.

"Sure, were just stuck here anyway." Peng Wei said with boredom.

"Mother, Father! We'll be going somewhere. We'll be back!" Liu Feng said as their parents nodded. Running along in the forest the three of them dodged branch's and twigs of leaves. Liu Fu Juan smiled in her head with the burst of energy in her.

Following her brother they came across a waterfall. Looking down they had their jaws drop from looking down the waterfall. "Feng how is this place any fun?" She questioned his brother.

"Trust me it's fun." Liu Feng had shifted back to his human form. His purple left eye and amber right eye and black hair tied up. Both Liu Fu Juan and Peng Wei shifted along. Peng Wei's long white hair as his fathers went down to the back of his shoulders and his common black eyes.

Liu Fu Juan's black hair reach down to her bottom as her eyes were mix of purple and amber together on both eyes. "Explain how this is fun?" She questioned again crossing her arms together not understanding how finding a waterfall was any fun than staying back with their parents.

"Follow me." Liu Feng said. Crossing the river with the rocks as their path. Shifting back to their cubs they followed him into the forest. They walked along with him which he had led them to see a herd of deers. They were in amazement how close they were to the deers. Grazing on the grass below their feet. Liu Fu Juan was the most amazed by how it looked.

Far along the distant, there were three hunter. They held their bows and arrows. Looking to target the deers with their bows. One caught sight of three odd cubs smiling to see that if he killed one and kept the other two to himself to hunt next time then it would give him more fortune.

Liu Fu Juan could sense danger around as she looked to see a shiny object. "Run!" She said as she screeched loud within the forest to echo. Hearing a bow that had launched an arrow.

"Fu Juan!!!"
