Chapter 6: Transformation

"Jiminie hyung?" His mouth went agape at the sight of the lifeless wolf, before his wolf form ran towards him. He touched Jimin with his snout, growling in attempt to wake him up.

The other wolf didn't move nor flinch making Jungkook panicked, yet he was sure that the wolf is still alive but barely breathing through his nostrils.

Jungkook shifted back to his human form, without caring even if he's naked or not, and just snaked his arms around Jimin who is still in his wolf form.

"How injured were you that you can't even form back to your human form?" Jungkook sighed before lifting his hyung up in a bridal style. He doesn't really care whether he's being gay or not. He just wanted to save him.

With that, early in the morning, Jungkook lifted Jimin all the way to their territory making the other wolves who witnessed him, shocked at their sight. He didn't care and just continue walking towards his own massive tent.

Caroline, the Tía of the Moon Pack and mother of Jungkook, who was from afar was beyond confused at what the wolves were gossiping about until her eyes landed to the figure with a wolf in his arms. Her eyes widened in shock, running towards him.

"Jungkook?!" She yelped making Jungkook turned around to face her. He forced out a smiled at her mother. "Why are you naked? And why are you bringing a dead wolf?"

She eyed the wolf in Jungkook's arms. "Are you crazy?!"

"Stop it, mom. It's not like the pack haven't seen me naked before." Jungkook whined, rolling his eyes while firmly holding Jimin. "Plus he is not dead, just barely breathing."

"You stripped in front of them in attempt to shift and let them witness you naked!" Aunt Caroline scolded. "That body only belongs to Ha Na only!"

Jungkook's eyes widened, a blush appeared on his cheeks. Did his mother just say that in front of his pack?

"Also, there are she-wolves here, Jungkook!" Aunt Caroline pointed at the female wolves surrounding them who flushed redness on their cheeks before looking away when the Tía caught them.

Jungkook smiled, biting his lips suppressing his laugh—he loves this kind of attention.

"Mom." Jungkook smiled. "Do you want to see your son's arms fall before you could get grandchildren? Because I really need to bring him to the medics or else my arms are gonna pull off."

Aunt Caroline groaned in disbelief before nodding for her son to go. She followed him behind, curious as to why he is bringing a rare white wolf. But what made the Tía even more curious was why did his son came back naked?

What she didn't know was that his son who was incapable of shifting into his wolf form has been able to shift behind her back—without telling her for three months now.

The wolf shifting bewildered Jungkook too and that happened when he met Ha Na in the forest while strolling around the area. He was debating whether to tell his mother or not about it.

Jungkook got inside the medics, putting Jimin on the bed while the doctors, who was also assigned to Ha Na, came rushing in.

Aunt Caroline narrowed her eyes at the wolf on the bed, standing behind Jungkook. "Who is he?"

"Just a friend of mine." Jungkook answered truthfully.

Aunt Caroline nodded reluctantly, walking towards the wolf. "That's strange."

"What is, Mom?"

"I don't know exactly." Aunt Caroline shrugged her shoulders, watching the doctor preparing an injection to bring back the wolf into his human form. "He seemed to have a special blood running his veins."

Then Aunt Caroline lifted Jimin's arms, eyes flashed to see through his veins, and the aroma overflowing the man was so addicting. She could clearly see and smell his blood running through his veins so softly and flowing so well.

"A wolf blood mixing a vampire? That sounds interesting." She snorted, amused by the rare sight.

"What do you mean, mom? There are a lot of half wolf and vampire out there. "

"No." Caroline shook her head. "He's special. His blood is."

So this child used to be a werewolf but survived a vampire's bite? A special one indeed. Aunt Caroline thought with a creepy smile.

When the treatment was done, Jungkook went out of the room, leaving the doctor to change Jimin with clothes after the treatment, and turning him back to his human form.

"Child?"

Jungkook looked at his mother while he was busy thinking about the witch's suggestion regarding turning Ha Na's machine off—that was the only thing that's keeping her alive, and about the attack to Namjoon.

Besides, he felt guilty about not complying his supposed deal with her three months ago about attacking Namjoon. He cannot go back down now that he agreed.

Aunt Caroline looked at her son who seemed out of this world in worry. "Are you fine? Are you not sick anymore?"

"What are you talking about?" Jungkook asked in confusion, raising his eyebrows.

"You know? About the sudden pain you felt months ago."

Jungkook frowned, thinking that maybe she was talking about how sick he was that had him screaming that night making the whole pack woke up. It was really a pain for him, and he wasn't planning on telling his mother the cause of it. He knew why he was so sick and in pain, he just couldn't tell his mother.

"I'm fine already, mom. It was just one time." He reassured her. It was one time when he felt a sudden pain all over his body. As if his body was on fire. As if someone was touching his body.

He felt it all—the touches that his mate was receiving from another guy.

It was five months ago that he felt the touches that another man was giving to his own mate. It made him hate Taehyung even more for touching what is his.

A smile then appeared on his lips, a random thought came in his mind. "Mom—I have to tell you something..."

Aunt Caroline hummed in response, awaiting for her son's words.

"The entire royal pack knows that I can't shift to my wolf form, right?" Aunt Caroline nodded, crept out at why her son was smiling suspiciously.

"How will I be able to lead them as an Alpha if I can't even turn myself into a wolf? All I could ever do was howl and growl." Jungkook frowned, even making his mother confused at the sudden change of mood.

"Plus after the Werewolves Massacre, I felt more pressure that they are all depending on me now."

Jungkook not turning into his wolf side was one of the many reasons why he tricked that witch into attacking the current king. He was doubtful about leading the war back then yet he can't even transform into his wolf form.

Aunt Caroline's eyes flickered, avoiding his son's question because she knows well why his son can't transform. He was a half werewolf—a son from the wolf royalty and a human. The first ever half breed that existed.

"But Mom..." Jungkook smiled, tears dwelling down. He was happy, that he could finally gain a little confidence in himself, and have something he can boast to his pack even though he hated being a leader.

"When I met Ha Na..." Jungkook couldn't help but grin ear to ear. He looked at his mother who was worried about his son crying. "I transformed into my wolf side."

Caroline froze, choking on her saliva. "What?"

"I shifted to my wolf side when I saw her in danger." Jungkook beamed.
