Toyin almost staggered while not moving at the revelation. No wonder Femi didn’t disturb her for a week. Everything finally made more sense now. Toyin glanced at Femi and she saw him still reading acting like what was happening wasn’t his business.

“So, I want you to think well before you give me an answer” Emmanuel added.

Toyin closed her eyes to think. Her head went blank as she tried to think; just a week that Femi had ignored her and sent her carving for his insults, for the sense of his cologne or perfume. Femi will never approach her if she said yes to Emmanuel.

She could break free from the shackles of love that had held for over five years. She knew Femi hated her to the marrow. There was no way on earth he was going to like her but she was willing to gamble the rest of her sec school life with him.

Toyin opened her eyes slowly, “Everyone here knows I haven’t dated anyone before, if I want to date at all; I want to date someone I like” Toyin started.

“Emmanuel, I don’t hate you trust me, I have no iota of feelings towards you. I have no feelings at all. Whether like, love or hate. That means when I see you, I feel nothing. I really can’t date you” Toyin added sending the class into an uproar.

Femi raised his head as he glanced at the girl who was speaking rather too calmly. Her eyes seemed lifeless behind her lenses. Femi dropped his head back into the textbook he was reading without saying a thing.

Emmanuel looked at Toyin, shocked and surprised. He couldn’t find his voice for a long time.

“So Toyin, you would prefer Femi harassing you than dating me?” Emmanuel asked in shock

“Maybe. Femi mistreating me isn’t a new occurrence. I’m used to it and her new aggressive mistreating, I’ll get used to it in a while. Besides, sec school ends in less than 6 months, everything is going to end then so yeah, ill rather take Femi’s harassment than date you” Toyin replied.

Everyone wore surprised looks as Toyin continued “Besides, you don’t actually like me that much, just because you acted nice to me for a week, you thought I was going to accept you? No one does that! You probably just want to fuck a virgin right?” Toyin asked as her tone turned cold.

“You could have just come straight and tell me you want to stick your dick up my ass and not act like a nice gentleman. In case you didn’t know, your sudden niceness made me sick to the stomach. I hated the fact that it was fake” Toyin added with a harsher tone.

She was sick of him to her stomach. She wanted to puke as soon as she was realizing the thoughts of the fucked up human being standing in front of her. She found it hard to believe that such people existed and still even had the guts to be public about it.
