see the alpha
Chapter -4
Subtitle: see the Alpha
Solace had been terrified from the get go and it didn't help that the hefty man spoke to her with a really mean tone.
She couldn't even talk to anyone again. All she did was sit on the bed and lean back for more than two hours, staring back at the piercing eyes of the unwanted men in the room whom she felt were staring at her too.
She felt very uneasy, she wanted to just disappear as the situation she's in is one of the most unwanted situations she'd ever wish for.
Being stuck in a room with two men staring at her in the dark. The elderly woman who was tending to her earlier had already left the room.
Delta Ian hung around Solace for quite a while waiting for one of the boy's he sent to go get the Alpha, but it has been hours since he sent the man to go do so and he had not returned.
He turned to look at the other man left in the room and whispered something into his ears before he turned around and left, leaving Solace alone with just one man.
It didn't help her nervousness though as she still felt really uneasy.
The man began to walk towards her, when he was close to the bed he dragged a chair from the table where it was set and brought it near the bed.
He positioned it near Solace before sitting down on it with a slight groan.
Solace didn't say anything as she sat there quietly. Her heart was pounding really fast.
"You don't have a scent."
The man pointed out an obvious fact about Solace, causing her to shift slightly on the bed.
"I wonder what the Alpha wants with someone like you. You are pretty, I'll give you credit for that but apart from that I don't see anything special about you. In Fact, eighty percent of our women are much more appealing physically than you are. So what does the Alpha want with you?"
The man asked as he made clicking sounds with his tongue while squinting his eyes as if he's trying to stare into the lady's soul.
"Am I going to be a slave?"
Solace asked the man who seemed as if he wanted her to talk although the other scary man had ordered her to shut her mouth.
She too wants to know why she was abducted.
"Who knows? That might be it. Did your relatives offend the Alpha in any way? Maybe that's why he's abduct you and he plans of using you as a slave and making you suffer for their sake "
The man spoke, as if talking to himself.
Solace felt her heart thug.
Did her parents have anything to do with these scary people?
What have they done?
Maybe this man is right, maybe they sent her away so she could get abducted and punished in their stead.
Solace couldn't stop thinking of so many reasons why she'll be abducted.
She knew for sure that her family does not like her and that her parents despise her.
So why not? They obviously got tired of her and discarded her.
Jasper... Does her predicament have something to do with Jasper?
Who knows? It might be his fault, he never stays in one place and he's always traveling around. Maybe he is the one that offended the Alpha.
But then after thinking for a while she knew she had to rule Jasper out because there is no way her step brother will get rid of her. After all, he hates her the most and she knew he'd probably keep her around so he can torture her.
"What's confusing though is why the Alpha will have them keep you in one of the nicest rooms in his pack house, in a room that has the warmest temperature so you don't catch a cold. He won't treat just anyone with so much care and consideration and he certainly won't do that to a woman that's about to be his slave. Who are you woman?"
The man asked after saying what he had in mind.
Solace sighed and leaned back on the bed, totally ignoring the man because all he seemed to be doing is instill unwanted fear in her system and she hates it.
The door bursts open shortly and Solace sighed happily, thankful that she doesn't have to spend another minute with the nosey man that's with her in the room.
Two men walked in at once and as they near her Solace could tell that one of them was the hefty man with the feminine voice.
The other was someone she hadn't seen before.
"Can you walk?"
The new unfamiliar man asked as he reached forward and tried to hold her hand.
Solace shivered and shifted back in fear.
Beta Klaus sighed and retreats his hand.
'What are you thinking? She's certainly scared to death right now!'
His wolf scolded him.
"Relax.. I won't hurt you, but you have to come with me. So If you can walk gently step down from the bed, If you can't or you don't want to I'll have to carry you out of the room in my arms, don't make it harder for any of us and just do as I say alright?"
Beta Klaus said to Solace in the most mild and soft voice he could use, he didn't want to scare the lady as he knew she might resist.
Solace sighed, the man seemed nice but she knew he might just be out to hurt her.
Whether she resists or she goes with him he will find a way to get her to follow him so she decides to save herself the extra stress and just obey him.
Right now, she's in his hands and she can't possibly escape.
She quietly got down from the best with ease as all the pains in her body had subsided and she no longer felt sour like earlier.
"I'm Klaus. Come with me."
Beta Klaus introduced himself before he turned around and began to walk towards the door.
Solace quietly followed.
She didn't know why the man seemed really friendly towards her, as if he's trying to reassure her that all will be well.
But she liked how gentle he was and that somehow led her to follow him with so much ease and obedience.
"Where are you taking me? Is it true that I'm to be the Alpha's slave?"
Solace asked as soon as they neared the door.
Klaus chuckled after hearing her words, he paused as he turned around to look at her.
"No, you are not the Alpha's slave. But you are like his property, a priceless one."
Klaus replied with a smile.
Causing Solace to feel confused.
"Property... Are they any different?"
Solace mumbled a question, but Klaus didn't hear her.
Beta Klaus kept walking and as Solace stepped out of the dark room she was welcomed by a much brighter and colder corridor. Almost making her eyes flicker.
Fresh and cold air hit her face really hard from the small windows in the hallway, causing her to hiss gently.
The hallway looked magnificent but not too big and as Solace followed Beta Klaus down the hallway she couldn't help but look around and behind her.
She noticed that the other two men had remained in the room and were not following her.
She sighed.
They walked past an aisle of six rooms in total. All six rooms are on the left side of the corridor while the right side of the corridor was just a group of large windows that were kept open for fresh air to come in through them.
Solace could also smell the scent of fresh flowers and she presumed they were coming from the window, maybe there's a garden behind those windows.
The two soon came to a halt in front of a stair that led down and they both began to walk their way down the stairs with Klaus leading the way.
Klaus will occasionally stop and turn to look at Solace, to make sure she is alright and is still following him.
It took them quite a while to get to the bottom of the stairs and Solace looked around the strange place.
This floor looked similar to the upper floor but it was fancier and more round since it had a round shaped living room with different rooms at each angle of the room.
Klaus walked towards a room by the west wing and knocked on it gently.
He didn't open the door and he waited for a reply from someone inside the room.
Solace was nervous and she hid behind him like a scared little cat that does not want to be eaten by a predator.
After about a minute the door clicked open and a beautiful slim girl emerged from the room.
She was wearing a really short floral dress although the place was cold.
She had an apple in her hand and she bit down on it before looking at Solace in a strange way.
" Who's she?"
The girl asked Beta Klaus.
"She's here to see the Alpha. If you are done here then you can leave."
Klaus replied before opening the door and stepping in.
When he noticed Solace was not coming into the room with him he stepped out and dragged her in.
