come with me
Chapter 11_
"His woman?"
Solace asked with her eyes widening.
"Madison and the Alpha are two beans in a pod. They seem to be connected in the hip. Since Madison's father , who was a high ranking official in his former pack decided to join Crimson pack under Alpha Tristan's jurisdiction the Alpha's bond with Madison has been nothing but flourishing.
Anyone who knows the Alpha will know that he rarely pays attention to any lady except Madison, in fact he took it upon himself to train her with his own hands, making her the strongest female werewolf in the pack
Although she's a sweet girl to people who treat her well she can be nasty to a person she doesn't like. Everyone hopes she'll be good to them once she becomes Luna of our pack."
The elderly woman explained.
Solace bites her lips gently.
"Oooh..."
She muttered in a slightly low voice.
"So the Alpha will marry her?"
She asked.
"I don't know since he has never confirmed it himself. But the Alpha is way past the marriage age for most male werewolves. Plus Madison seems to be the most complete candidate for the Luna position so who knows? It might happen."
The woman said as she helped Solace change out of the dress.
"I'll alter it and send it to the pack house tomorrow morning."
The woman said as she led Solace out of the dressing room.
"Thank you."
Solace answered as she found her way down the hall.
The elderly woman quickly closed the door and walked Solace down the hallways into the lounge.
As soon as she entered the lounge she was welcomed by the nose blinding smell of hot coffee. The lounge looked dark except for a bunch of neon lights that gave it a little bit of depth.
Solace noticed the same woman who she has come to know as Madison sitting besides the Alpha who has a mug of coffee in his hands.
Madison sat comfortably on the couch besides Alpha Tristan as she leaned her head and body against his shoulders while she played with her phone nonchalantly.
Solace paused by the door.
Earlier on when the Alpha left the hallway Madison had followed him and apologized to the Alpha for overstepping her boundary.
Tristan has a soft spot for Madison since he has always seen her as his own sister for quite some time and she has always been clingy towards him.
He hardly gets angry at her but this time he felt annoyed that she had called his woman a vixen and he had gone overboard and almost hurt the lady.
Hopefully, she had learned her lesson and apologized to him so he couldn't stay angry at her for too long.
He was too engrossed in the mug of coffee that was offered to him and had numerous thoughts running through his mind to notice how she had cozied up to him and lay her head on his shoulder. The fact that he had always been friendly towards her and let her do all she wanted contributed to him not noticing the compromising posture in which they sat. Someone might get a totally wrong idea and mistake them for lovers.
"We are done, Alpha."
The elderly woman called his attention and he looked forward to seeing Solace standing beside the woman. She had now changed into the clothes she was wearing earlier.
Madison looked up from her phone and gave Solace a nasty look, she adjusted her posture and tugged her arms into his.
The Alpha took one last sip from his coffee before dropping the mug on the table before him and standing up on his feet, Madison also stood up.
"Let's go."
He said to Solace as he began walking towards the door while dragging Madison who was glued to his arms.
"I am in a hurry Madison, let go."
He rebuked the lady who pouted as they exited the lounge while Solace followed them behind with her head bowed.
"Can you please drop me off? I didn't come with my car and I spent too much time in here that I didn't notice it was already snowing."
The lady said in a soft and baby-like voice, making the Alpha hiss in annoyance.
Madison didn't let go of his hands even after they left the plaza and she held unto him as they walked down the stairs while Solace followed them behind as always, one of the attendants had handed her the suit the Alpha forgot in the lounge and now the seen looked like a happy couple just went shopping and their maid is trailing behind them with the little they got.
They soon reached the truck and Madison let go of the Alpha's hands as she quickly opened the front seat and hopped on, leaving Solace with the only option of sitting behind.
Solace didn't mind and she didn't object, she knew it wasn't in her place to sit in front so she quickly walked towards the back seat and opened it.
The Alpha got in, put on his seatbelts and stared at the two ladies, one in front and the other in the back, he wasn't satisfied with the arrangement.
"Madison, exchange seats with Solace, I want her to sit in front."
Alpha Tristan suddenly said, causing a cold grimace to wash over Madison's face.
"But Tristan..... I always sit in front and you don't mind! Besides, I will be dropping off very soon so we don't need to switch."
Madison lamented, she hated the fact that the Alpha was making her loose face in front of a nobody once again and the Alpha is annoyed that she is defying him once more, he didn't like it.
"Don't make me repeat myself!"
He snarled, making Solace shudder from the back seat.
Madison angrily unlocked the front door and got out while Solace did the same.
She left the Alpha suit behind and walked towards the front door while a sulking Madison brushed her shoulders against hers (Solace's) angrily.
Alpha Tristan waited for both ladies to settle down into their respective seats before he kick-started the car.
He glanced over at Solace who had just put on her seat belts before he began to drive out of the plaza.
The ride was quiet and long and halfway through the Alpha drove Into an unfamiliar mansion and dropped Madison who still looked angry before driving out once more.
The snow had increased significantly and the trees that were visibly green earlier on were now slightly covered in snow, the leaves were hidden under the white fluff.
"Are you okay?"
The Alpha asked.
He noticed how awfully quiet Solace had been throughout the entire ride and he wanted to know why, he felt as if her mood was much better when they drove earlier on than now.
"I'm alright sir.."
She replied, not sparing him a glance.
'She doesn't look alright.'
The Alpha told his wolf.
'of course she won't look alright. You let another woman act all cozy with you in front of her, why won't she feel sad?'
Zachery snapped back at Tristan who rolled his eyes.
'Please give me a break! If she wants me to hold her and be cozy with her I'll gladly do so. Right now she is afraid of us and doesn't want to be near us so do you think it's our fault?'
He asked his wolf.
' what you said is true, but you paying attention to another woman will just drive her further away from us. The last thing we both want is our mate acting cold towards us. We might not get her to be free with us right now but if we treat her with care she will eventually feel comfortable around us.'
Zachery adviced Tristan who nodded his head as he found sense in what his wolf was saying.
They soon drove into the gates of the pack house and the Alpha drove towards the in-built garage that is behind the mansion to pack the car, away from the snow.
He drove in and packed it in line with his other vehicles before he turned off the ignition and got down from the car.
Solace also got down as fast as she could and she ran towards the backseat and opened it, she took out the Alpha's suit and held it carefully.
She was going to walk out of the garage when the Alpha grabbed onto her arm.
"It's snowing. Don't walk out into the cold."
He said before he dragged her towards a door that led into a much warmer room in the pack house.
The room looked spacious and it had shelves upon shelves of wine arranged delicately against each side of the room like a decoration.
She couldn't help but stare around at the mini bar in the pack house as the Alpha continues walking deeper into the room and towards another door.
He opened it and stepped into the large first floor living room while Solace did the same.
This room was much warmer and she liked it.
"Come with me to the kitchen."
The Alpha muttered.
