bring her to me
Chapter 2-
Subtitle: bring her to me.
Tristan Gregory walked into the dark large room that was only lit by a dim candle.
His movement felt forced and his shoes felt sticky against the hard and smooth wooden floor.
He had just gotten back from his weekly hunt around his pack's outskirt and his large leather coat was glistened with blood from all the prey he had killed that day.
His mood was damp during the hunt as there were hardly any preys to kill since all rogues avoid his pack like it's some kind of first class hell. With how cold and ruthless Alpha Tristan is, all rogues either swim near his pack territory in the hopes of getting his attention and joining the pack or they really just gather the balls to hunt there.
It's considered a suicide mission for a werewolf that is a rogue to come into his land.
The hunt had lasted for about five hours and since there were hardly any games to hunt he had decided to advance a little bit beyond his territories into another packs land to hunt, normally the other pack would object if another Alpha comes into their territory without permission but since it's alpha Tristan no one dares to say a word and since he was helping them get rid of hungry rogues it was a win-win situation.
Alpha Tristan is the definition of ruthless and cold and he hates going on a hunt without finding a prey to kill just out of spit.
He never smiles and he gives orders just once because he does not like to repeat himself. Anything he says must be done no matter what and no one dares to go against him.
For an alpha who is already in his thirties it is kind of strange to his pack members that he doesn't have a mate.
What's even stranger is that he is okay with it. A werewolf pack requires an Alpha with his Luna by his side to fully function and Crimson pack has no Luna.
There have been rumors flying around the pack that the Alpha will eventually choose one of the strong royal blood females to mate with in order to continue his legacy but it has never been confirmed if he will do that or not.
Alpha Tristan is like a lonely bird that never smiles, no one knows exactly what happened to him since his pack was formed roughly five years ago.
No one knew of the type of life he had before that but all the other Alpha's know that he started out as a rogue himself, he was notorious and he led a hefty amount of rogues for a while until he had gathered enough rogues to form a pack.
He settled on a land that is considered barren and began to build his pack on those lands, none of the other Alpha's objected since they all didn't even want to have the barren land in the first place, it was considered useless and so Alpha Tristan utilized the land to the best of his abilities and then as if he had found favor in the eyes of the moon goddess his hard work paid off and the once barren land in which the foundations of Crimson pack was laid on starts to become fruitful.
Other Alpha's who once didn't even want to take the land were now objecting and claiming the land was never his, but Alpha Tristan isn't someone to be played with since his army and jurisdiction has surpassed the size of most average packs.
He had trained his fighters to be the best and elite and no intruder has ever left the pack alive.
He was powerful and ruthless and he kills without a concrete reason.
Most of the Alphas who had objected had to back down after seeing how powerful Alpha Tristan is.
It is an irony that Alpha Tristan hates rogues and he finds them irritating when he himself was once a rogue and all the members of his pack were once rogues except for the newborns.
It was baffling but then if you look closely you'll discover that Alpha Tristan only takes in a certain category of rogues and he despised the rest for reasons no one knows.
"Are you sure it's her?"
Alpha Tristan asked his third in command who is his Delta.
"I am very sure it's her,Tristan. Please confirm that yourself."
Delta Ian replied.
Alpha Tristan sighed as he gently removed his bloody coat and threw it at Ian who caught it in his arms just in time.
Alpha Tristan felt uneasy and queasy as he was all sweaty and he felt dirty from the hunt. He would have taken a shower before coming into the room but then he wanted to check and be sure that the person that was captured was the exact person he wanted.
He continued to walk his way into the room where a few of his trusted men were in.
As he advanced and reached the large bed in the room he could see a female figure laying on the bed just in front of him.
The room was dark so he could not see her face clearly and the pack's healer was also hovering over the lady.
He stood there for a while, wishing the person that has been found and brought to him this time around is the person he wants and has been looking for, not some failed mission like all the other similar ladies brought to him in the past by his Delta who he put in charge of finding the lady.
He walked towards the left side of the bed which was where she lay and the pack's witch quickly shifted back to give him the space to check on the woman.
Alpha Tristan stood right beside the woman and he stared down at the strikingly familiar face he wanted to see, his face was blank and he seemed to be in shock but no one in the room could tell since it was dark.
Then he bent down slightly and touched the lady's face, making her shiver a little from the cold contact.
The Delta who stood at the far end by the door widened his eyes in shock as he saw the Alpha sitting down besides the sleeping woman.
Normally when he finds a woman similar to whom the Alpha has sent him to go look for he brings her back to the pack house and keeps her in this room so the alpha could examine her. Once the Alpha takes one look at the woman whom they brought and it's not who he's looking for he'll turn around and leave with a gloomy face and he'll ask them to throw the woman they've brought out and continue the search.
But this time the Alpha had finally sat on the bed and he had touched the woman's face which meant she is in fact who they have been looking for.
His face broke into smiles as the door opened and the second in command, who is the Beta, walked in. His name is Klaus.
Alpha Tristan felt a huge relief as his heart which had been burdened for a long time finally felt really light.
He touched the woman's face for quite some time and sat there with his gaze fixated on her.
His eyes went down to her neck and he softly adjusted her blouse so he could have a proper look at her neck.
"What have they done to you?"
Was all he could say as soon as he could not find what he was looking for.
On the other end his two subordinates were looking at him and chatting amongst themselves.
"What do you think he'll do with her now? Will he marry her? I don't think she is his mate, she doesn't look like she could be."
Delta Ian told Beta Klaus both looked at him with a blank expression.
"I don't know what he's going to do with her..... He told me last night that he'll probably marry one of the ladies from the strong royal families and make her his Luna so I don't think this particular woman would affect his stance."
The Beta answered but then Ian still looked at Klaus because he found something suspicious about the way the Beta was looking at the Alpha and the woman who was on the bed.
It was as if the Beta knew something about the woman and it was as if he ( the Beta) knew why the woman was brought to their pack and what the Alpha is going to do with her.
Ian was going to say something but then he heard the stumping steps from the Alpha's boots approaching them gently, he looked up.
"I'll go wash up and rest for a bit, keep an eye on her and bring her to me once she wakes up.
Make sure she doesn't go anywhere and do not answer any of the questions she'll ask you."
The Alpha dishes out his orders before walking out.
Klaus turned around and walked out of the room along with him too which meant Ian is once again in charge of doing the menial job which was frustrating but there is nothing he can do as a Delta, Klaus will always be above him.
