Chapter 32 He Is My Dog

At dinner, Yang Yulan served Su Su a bowl of mushroom soup and said ingratiatingly.

“Try it. Is this your favorite?”

Su Su tasted the soup. Though she didn't say anything, her expression showed that she liked it.

Yang Yulan said happily, “Qin Tian made it.”

“He knew that you liked it, so he studied it carefully. And he's doing better than I am right now.”

Su Su immediately put the bowl on the table and said angrily, “It tastes terrible!”

“Qin Tian, as a man, don't you have any skills other than cheating and adorning yourself with borrowed plumes?”

“You can't even cook a meal! What else can I expect from you?”

Yang Yulan was awkward.

Qin Tian was also speechless.

Neither of them expected Su Su, who had always been sensible and gentle and kind, would become so tricky and mean after five years.

However, they both thought it was Su Su's stress reaction to the traumatic experience.

They had to be more careful.

After finishing the meal, Su Su said angrily, “I'm so bored!”

“Mom, why don't you push me out into the little garden?”

“Sure!” Yang Yulan stood up hurriedly, but she seemed to suddenly think of something, so she frowned and said, “But I should get to work.”

Qin Tian said hurriedly, “I’ll do it.”

Yang Yulan said with a smile, “Su Su, I need to go to work. So, just let Qin Tian be with you, okay?”

“But I want to make some rules with you!”

After the scolding, Su Su continued, “Rule number one, don't touch me!”

“Rule number two, don’t you ever talk about treating me without my permission!”

She blushed at the thought of being naked with Qin Tian.

Qin Tian nodded and said, “Okay, anything else?”

Su Su said coldly, “I can't think of anything else right now. I'll let you know when I do. Just keep that in mind.”

“But if you ever make me angry, get out of here!”

What a wayward young lady. Yang Yulan worried that Qin Tian would not stand it and leave in a fit of rage.

As his mother-in-law, she had got to like Qin Tian recently. Unconsciously, she had come to rely on Qin Tian.

It was quite hard to find such a good man.

She had to keep him for her daughter.

Fortunately, Qin Tian was not angry, so she was finally relieved to go to work.

At this moment, in a castle on the other side of the ocean.

An old man with a white beard, who looked like Santa Claus, was looking at the sad girl sitting on the swing in front of him and felt bad for her.

The girl was as beautiful as a princess in a fairy tale.

The old Rockethiller sighed and called out to the distant butler, “Spread the word that if Primal will marry my granddaughter, I will give him the Garver Fields for dowry!”

The butler was shocked. “But Mr. Rockethiller, it's the largest oil field in the world, and it's the backbone of our family!”

“Bullshit!”

“No oil fields in the world can be as important as my granddaughter's happiness!”

“Okay!” The butler went to arrange it with a helpless expression.

Qin Tian was not angry. He gallantly took a blanket to cover Su Su's legs, and then carefully pushed her out of the door.

The beautiful garden and the fresh air finally calmed Su Su down.

She was in a trance watching the butterflies flying among the flowers.

It had been five years.

She lost her memory of the world for five years.

“I’m thirsty.” She said coldly.

Qin Tian hurried back to the house and poured a glass of water for her.

However, instead of taking the glass of water, Su Su just looked at a beautiful figure standing beside the flower wall outside the garden and sneered, “Who is she?”

“She's been standing there since we came out. And she’s been looking at you.”

“Qin Tian, good for you! I didn't think you'd be able to hook up with such a young girl.”

“Now that you can have a girl like this, why do you have to stick with a cripple like me?”

Qin Tian immediately said to Tie Ningshuang, “Come in, please.”

Tie Ningshuang shivered a little and then walked slowly in with a bit of apprehension. She hung her head like a little girl who had done something wrong.

Qin Tian said coldly, “What are you doing here?”

Tie Ningshuang said excitedly, “I want you to…”

Qin Tian asked coldly, “To what?”

“Miss Tie, I don't think there's any relationship between us, do we?”

“I don't want my wife to get the wrong idea, so please don't come to me again.”

Tie Ningshuang did not expect Qin Tian to be so indifferent to her just to defend the woman in the wheelchair.

Tears of grievance immediately welled up in her eyes.

Su Su said proudly, “You're still too young and naive for that, little girl.”

Su Su sneered, “He is my dog!”

“Take him away if you can!”

She looked at Qin Tian in disbelief and said, “You’ve been so indifferent to me, and yet you’re willing to let her humiliate you?”

“She's just a cripple. What's so great about her?”

“Shut up!” Qin Tian got angry and said, “This is my family business and you have no right to interfere.”

“Miss Tie, once again, you should leave now if there is nothing else!”

“You…” Tie Ningshuang's eyes were filled with tears. But she was an emulous girl, so she tried not to cry.

Her chest heaved with anger and she said loudly, “My dad told me to tell you that a big consortium is coming to Stillwater for an investor fair, and my family would be the sponsor.”

“You cured my grandpa, and in return, if you want to go, we'll give you a seat!”

“Qin Tian, you really… let me down!”

With these words, she dropped a card and ran for the door with her hand over her mouth.

Qin Tian had just grown tall in her mind, yet she didn't expect it to collapse so quickly.

Su Su looked at Qin Tian with a sneer and said, “You're not going after her?”

Qin Tian did not say anything. He just handed her the glass in his hand.

Su Su took a sip, tilted her head to think for a while, and then said with great interest, “What’s the big consortium?”

Qin Tian said unhappily, “Who cares? The most important thing is to make you happy, Miss Su.”
