Chapter 30 Who’s the Naive One
“We are from the Qin family of the Northwest. Please leave!” they roared, emanating murderous auras.
All the passersby dodged and left the scene in panic.
A bruiser walked to an SUV in the middle and opened the rear door.
A man in his forties wearing a black outfit got off. There was a blank ring on his left thumb.
When he saw Qin Tian, something quickly flashed through his eyes. Then he strode over and greeted, “Master Tian, I’m here to take you home.”
“During the past years when you were away, your grandmother missed you very much.”
Qin Tian gazed at him and sneered, “Uncle Ying, I didn’t expect you to come here in person.”
“Did that old woman miss me or my bone arrows?”
The mid-aged man was Tie Ying, one of the five generals working for the Qin family from the Northwest. The family had assigned him a lot of power.
Upon hearing Qin Tian’s words, he asked solemnly, “Master Tian, what do you mean?”
Qin Tian sneered again. In the past few years, although he had focused on the missions assigned by his master and couldn’t have the energy to deal with his privacy, he had heard the Qin family’s name many times.
Their first heir in order, Qin Biao, had cancer and needed his family members’ bone arrows to survive. The Qin family had hidden it from the public.
However, Qin Tian knew it.
One department under the Hall of Primal mainly gathered all kinds of confidential information.
Looking at Qin Tian, Tie Ying snorted, “Master Tian, during the years you were out of the family, you seemed careless. In fact, you paid attention to your family affairs.”
“Does it mean you always look for chances to return?”
“Madam Shuangjun was strict with you in the past. But she ordered me to invite you back to inherit the family.”
“Inherit the family?” Qin Tian burst into laughter, tears springing to his eyes.
Qin Biao was his half-brother from a different mother. Qin Tian’s mother was born into a humble family, so the Qin family never recognized her.
Remarkably, his grandmother, Dong Shuangjun, had never been kind to him.
She favored Qin Biao more. Therefore, Qin Biao, the second son of their father, was more respected and became the family's heir.
Qin Tian, the oldest son, was looked down on by everyone. Even the most humble servant had bullied him.
However, to convince him to donate his bone marrow to Qin Biao, they lied to him to let him inherit the family.
Qin Tian was amused by their shamelessness.
He snapped, “Tie Ying, I called you uncle, for the sake I used to learn kung-fu from you when I was little.”
“Now, you’d better get out of my face.”
“Or you can’t blame me for being rude to you.”
Tie Ying’s expression changed. He mocked, “Master Tian, you’d better think twice. This is your only opportunity to return to the Qin family.”
“Madam Shuangjun said as long as you cooperate, the Qin family would take care of you for the rest of your life.”
Qin Tian was so enraged that he chuckled, “What if I refuse?”
Tie Ying threatened him, “Then you can’t blame me for being rude.”
“Madam Shuangjun said we could tie you up and take you home.”
“Master Tian, you should know my men’s competence well. Do you still want to play the game?”
“Don’t be naive.”
As he spoke, his subordinates pounced at Qin Tian quietly.
They were from Shadows, the Qin family's most famous squad of bodyguards. General Tie was their leader. They had never been defeated.
However, they were called up to deal with a young man who had been dumped by his family. Tie Ying felt it was a waste of talent.
In his opinion, Qin Tian was just a good-for-nothing who could easily be caught.
“I’ll let you see who’s the naive one.”
Qin Tian made a move.
He was like a shadow passing by the bodyguards. After several cries in pain, the robust men fell to the ground.
After Tie Ying understood what had happened, Qin Tian returned to his original spot and stood upright like he had never moved.
Tie Ying gaped at him in fear and couldn’t believe his eyes.
He had never expected Qin Tian to become such a kung-fu master after several years.
“Pass my passage to that old woman. If she dares to bother me again, I’ll keep the people she sends next time.”
“Fuck off!”
With his roar, Tie Ying felt a murderous internal energy.
Off guard, he felt a smash on his chest.
Blood was spat from his mouth. Tie Ying staggered backward, his face pale.
Watching Qin Tian’s receding figure, he thought he had seen a god in a trance.
“I’ve been too careless.”
“Mater Tian, you should know the power of the Qin family more than anyone else.”
“You also should know your grandmother well. If she aims for something or someone, she could have her own ways to succeed.”
“See you around, Master Tian.”
The ground of people arrived and left fast. They vanished in a blink as if they hadn’t shown up.
Recalling the scenes where his mother was kicked out of the Qin family and died because of severe sickness, Qin Tian stood like a shot, his face dark, anger gleaming in his eyes.
The pressure around him became grim and icy.
“No... Stop it...”
Upon hearing Su Su’s murmur, Qin Tian returned to his senses. Then he saw Su Su looked panicked.
“Su Su, can you speak now?” he asked excitedly.
After he returned to town, this was the first that he heard Su Su speak to him.
Su Su looked at him, who seemed unknown, and muttered in a panic, “Let go of me. I want to go home. Let go!”
In fear, she almost stood up from the wheelchair.
Qin Tian realized that he had scared her. Hurriedly, he coaxed her in a gentle tone, “Don’t be afraid. I’ll take you home.”
He guessed Su Su had been stimulated just now and recalled her tragic past. It meant her consciousness was recovering.
Qin Tian believed it was a turning point.
He decided to take the chance to use Ghost Door Thirteen Needles to relieve her nerves. Then she would wake up.
Since they were still in a park, Qin Tian pushed her toward their home.
A charming figure appeared behind a tree.
It was Tie Ningshuang.
A few days ago, her grandfather forced her to kneel to Qin Tian and apologize. He even wanted her to be Qin Tian’s assistant, which annoyed her.
Tie Ningshuang was angrier after Qin Tian refused her without hesitation.
As a proud woman, she decided to find him and test his competence.
She had watched the earlier scene while hiding behind the tree. Watching Qin Tian leave, she looked shocked.
She was amazed by his fast and explosive movements and murderous internal energy. Finally, she realized she was nothing compared to him.
Gritting her teeth, Tie Ningshuang made an important decision and followed Qin Tian.
Back to the villa, Qin Tian made a bowl of spirit-quieting decoction and let Su Su take it. Finally, she calmed down and fell asleep.
When she was sleeping soundly, she looked pure and innocent, overlapping the image of the goddess in his memory.
Finally, Qin Tian was about to cure her, feeling nervous.
He held Su Su and put her on the bed. Then he gingerly stripped her.
Due to her unique condition, he had to hit all her acupoints during the treatment. Also, he couldn’t stop when it was ongoing.
Therefore, he had to take off her clothes.
Staring at her charming figure, the scene where he had been tortured five years ago appeared in his mind naturally.
Qin Tian was aroused, starting to breathe heavily.
Realizing that, he hurriedly concentrated and calmed himself down.
Then he took off his shirt and the black waist protection.
After turning it over, he stared at the countless black needles with different lengths.
