Chapter 9

SLEEPING HAPPILY, Sophie forgot that there are another person in their house. That’s why on the other day , she didn’t saw to wake up early. She decided to have a beauty sleep. It’s been awhile when she didn’t get a good sleep. But unfortunately, someone knock on the door. She rolled her eyes.

“ mom. I’ll come out Later.” Sophie shouted but no one answered, the knock keep going. She stood up from the bed and went to the door

“Mom, please can you give me more mins---” Sophie was cut in mid-sentence when she opened the door and found out that it’s not her mom.

“ Hi, good morning.” Andrew greeted and without thinking, she slammed the door closed and run back to her bedside. She changed her clothes from a see-through night dress to a tshirt and jogger short.

And when she’s done, she went to open the door again. Andrew is still standing there. He is smiling again.

“ hi.”

“ Why are you here?” Sophie asked

“ your mom asked me to call you. It’s already nine, and you are still sleeping. “ Andrew answers and looked at her from Head-to-toe.

“ What are you looking at?” Sophie asked while squinted her eyes to him.

“ L-Lets go.” Andrew said instead of answering her. He walked away without waiting for her and Sophie followed.

In the dining room, Sophie’s mom and Andrew were sitting already on their respective seat , and Sophie took the vacant one.

“ Hi Mom.” Sophie greeted shyly.

“ Good thing your awake. Thank you very much Andrew, if it wasn’t for you this young lady might still be sleep right now.” Her mom said and chuckled.

Andrew looked at her for a second before he chuckled of what Sophie’s mom said.

“ mom, we are supposed to be on the same side.” Sophie protested dryly. When it comes to her mom, she was to eager to let her date. And Sophie didn’t know why.

They started eating silently and when they are done, Sophie went back to her room to fixed herself. She locked her bedroom door and took off her clothes showing hare bare skins. Shamelessly she walked towards the bathroom and soaked herself in a warm shower.

And when she’s done ,she went out and dried herself. She grabbed some clean clothes and combed her hair. And when she remembered The man downstairs, Sophie decided to call Lily.
