Chapter 4

Andrew took her in his place since it’s already past ten and there’s no can or taxi wandering in the street anymore ,and his car is still in the fixing process when he bumped into the big tree last week when he accidentally get into accident. Slowly he put the woman in his bed and went to the kitchen to get a warm water and a morning towel to wipe her face. Slowly she dampen it to her face. She had an oval-shaped face and has a thick eyebrows and curly long lashes. He wandered why this woman got drunk and looked haggard. The woman moaned and tried to slap his hands away. He sighed .

“ Michael.” He uttered

“ sorry ,but I’m not—”

Andrew almost fell when she tried to pull him down, good thing he was able to maintain his balanced.

“ You are really crazy of betraying me.” She said bitterly. Then Andrew saw a years that fall in her closed eyes.

And from the looks of it, he assumed that she is heartbroken. The woman tried to stand and acted like she is about to vomit. Andrew instantly grabbed something she can vomit on. He sighed. He thought of his first day in this city to be great and fun and more of Interesting happenings ,but what happened is something he didn’t expect. He is taking good care of a stranger and cleaning all her mess. He should just ignored her but he is well- disciplined by her mother that he can’t stand seeing helpless and messy woman who seems inviting danger. He looks at her again. She looks familiar. But he couldn’t thought of a possible person to be linked on the woman lying on his bed. His phone rang and he went outside for awhile to answer it.

“ Aunt Meredith?” he uttered.

“ Andrew, I’ve been expecting you to come here, but you didn’t arrive. I thought you would be staying here, instead of staying in that little rented house of yours.” The woman is talking over the phone and he just roll his eyes as he listened to the person in the line.

“ Aunt, maybe tomorrow. I met a little acc—”

“ you met an accident?”

“ chill out, aunt Meredith , I am fine, but for now I have a very unexpected guest that’s why I wasn’t able to come over. Sorry.” Andrew is apologetic.

“ whatever. I was about to let you meet my daughter you know. You guys would be a great pair, I mean a good buddy.” She chuckled.

“ Oh yeah.” He answered dryly. And hanged up his phone.

Andrew loves to travel everywhere and right now he decided to dropped off to see her mother’s bestfriend ,Aunt Meredith and stayed there for awhile. And because he doesn’t have another plan in his mind yet. He decided to stay for awhile and enjoy the best of Philippines. He looked at the woman again and put a blanket on her and he went into the sofa and lay there to sleep.
