Chapter 5

Manuel randomly strolled outside of the event center to confirm that the security guards employed to guard the event center were doing a good job but his face suddenly met with a familiar woman having a conversation with a security personnel.

Wasn't this the woman who was with a girl who looked like his boss yesterday? he wants to be sure

before he informed his boss about it.

He walked to them and approached Sally , at that time, she was about turning to leave, "Miss,"

Manuel called calmly.

Sally turned and saw a strange man standing before her.

"Are you the woman with a beautiful daughter yesterday? the girl that many people at the airport were talking about?" he asked.

Sally didn't expect for her face to be recognized easily, she must protect her daughter, she did not want unnecessary attention towards her daughter so she answered," No, might be a mistake,"

Manuel exclaimed," Oh! " but he didn't believe what the woman said. He was smart and finds it easy to recognize people even if he sees them at a glance.

Might be that the woman was lying, didn't she disappear from the airport yesterday? she must be hiding something, Manuel thought in few seconds and believed she was the woman with the beautiful girl at the airport but was only lying.

"Is there something I can help you with here? I have access to everything here," Manuel said.

"Erm…" Sally thought quickly on seeking the man's help cause she felt strange towards the man. Should she just wait until the event is over and see her step-sister but would she be able to see her? seeing that she's now married to a celebrity.

Manuel thought she was nervous of the security officer standing with them so he dismissed the man, he expressed a welcoming and accommodating look," just tell me what you need,"

"Well, I'm Dally's step-sister, I need to have a conversation with her," she said.

"That shouldn't be a problem, they are almost done with this session, once they are done, Mr. Willard would remain downstairs to have dinner with VIP investors while Mrs. Dally would go upstairs to rest, I can arrange your meeting there, but are you really her step-sister?"

"Of course, you can ask if she knows who Sally is?" Sally said.

'Sally is her name, good.' Manuel thought and smiled, "Let me confirm if the session is over," he walked away from her and after confirming that Dally was now on the fifth floor of the building, he lead her to the building.

Manuel thought if it would be right for him to inform his boss at this stage that Sally might be the mother of that little girl who looked like him but he did not want to look foolish like the previous day so he was trying to be very careful.

When Sally appeared at the floor, she waddled around and finally found Dally resting in a room that has no door, it was just like a relaxing room.

Sally entered and stood for many seconds before Dallie noticed her , Dallie jumped up from her lying position at once as soon as she saw Sally.

"Sally, what are you doing here? how did you even get here?" he examined her from head to toe and saw that she looked wretched, she did not worth the woman that can stand before her to speak anymore.

Ever since Mr. Willard had given her access to many of his big companies, her status had grown dramatically, although she was not yet married to Mr. Willard, she was always being regarded as one.

"Are you surprised to see me, step-sister?" Sally asked.

Sally had never referred to Dally as a stepsister in the past, she would rather call her by her name or at worst, call her 'sister.' Seeing her calling her step-sister makes Dally understand that the woman before her was up to something odd.

"What did you want?"Dally asked nervously.

Manuel who had being overhearing their conversation, walked away. He just wanted to confirm that Dally was truly a step-sister to Sallie.

He would find out where Sallie lives, he wants to be sure she was the mother of the beautiful girl before telling it to his boss, he won't give his boss an half information anymore.

"I want my mother's house, " Sally requested and Dally laughed. Dally had heard her mother boast many times at how she took over Sally's mother house.

"Idiot, the house has been sold," Dally lied.

"It's not, you sold my father's house and moved to my mother's house, I'm actually coming from there so don't play gimmick with me, you and your mother should hand over the document of the house to me and I'll leave and never bother you anymore," Sally said.

"Bother me? are you so dumb to see that I'm now a celebrity? I'm not someone you could bother, you are poor and have nothing to your name, how can you fight me?" Dally asked proudly.

She was Mr Willard's acting wife, who was this woman before her to threaten her.

"Where is your mother?" Sallie asked.

"Don't ask about my mother, the document of the house is with me and I'll never transfer the ownership of it to you, not even in your dream. now get out before I call on the guards to bundle you out," Dally said.

Sallie was angry and began to move close to Dally, Dally was scared and shouted ," guards!"

Two security officers appeared at once.

"Throw this woman out , I do not know her, " the security guard held her and a voice sounded from behind all of a sudden.

"What's the chaos for?" Mr. Willard asked.

Sally glanced at the man and saw that he was the man who bore resemblance with her daughter, apparently, he was her step-sister's husband.

She wouldn't like to have issues with the man that bore the same resemblance with her daughter, she lowered her head and sneaked out, once the elevator dropped her on the last floor, she took to her heels and disappeared from the building.

Actually, while she was leaving, Mr Willard saw the same mark he had seen on the woman he had s*x with five years ago
