Seven.
Stella POV.
A strange number was calling me, I looked at my phone and looked at Mom, we're still in the car, we're going back home, the doctor's news wasn't that good, the doctor said I was a bit underweight, and that I need to take some kind of vitamins, I glared at the doctor as he kept on going talking about how the sun and the town weather would fix me up, would make me feel better, but I only glared at him, I'll be much better if I go back home.
"What's going on?" Mom asks me as I'm looking at my phone confused.
"A number is calling me, it's a strange one, no one knows my American number," I say, we didn't have time for me to switch numbers yet, so no one is supposed to know this number.
"Answer it, maybe it's your father," she says, but my dad was still using his American number as well, he messages and never calls, but maybe he's just worried about me, I answered the starnge number still very confused about who that is.
"Hello," I answer the phone.
"Stella, are you okay?" A voice that isn't my father asks, but the voice was fully filled with worry, the person talking was terrified.
"I'm fine, who's talking?" I ask the raspy voice, was someone trying to kidnap me and didn't manage to? I don't understand who it could be.
"It's me Stella, sorry, I was so worried about you," the voice says, it's me, a very vague answer, who is you?
"I'm sorry, who is it again?" I say confused, I felt sorry for whoever was calling me, they were terrified for me, but who is it?
"It's Theo Stella, it's me," he says with a sigh.
"Hey, Theo, why are you calling me? Why are you so worried?" I ask him confused.
"You said you're going to the doctor, and yesterday you were dizzy, I got worried," Theo says making my cheeks go red, I never had anyone caring about me but my parents, they are the only people that ever cared.
"Oh, it's nothing bad," I say blushing, looking out of the window, trying to avoid my mother's side look.
"Then why did you go?" he asks me still worried.
"Mom and dad wanted to make sure I'm fine, moving around have made me a bit stressed," I say trying to make it sound like nothing, nothing that I'm worried about or hurt by.
"And what did the doctor say?" he asks sounding worried still.
"That I'm underweight, but I'm fine, he said my fainting episode was cause by the time difference, it's jetlag, I'll be fine in a bit," I answer him, nothing was wrong with me.
"You got me worried," he says still sounding scared.
"I'm fine Theo," I assure him and I could hear mom whisper the question who's Theo?
"Are you coming back to school?" he asks me.
"No, not really," I answer him.
"Ohhh..." he says sounding miserable, I missed him already and we only met yesterday, I had to think quickly.
"How about we go out?" I ask him, and then I understood what I said, and my eyes went wild.
"I mean you, and me, and Calesti," I say, not meaning it to be a date.
"Sure, we can do that," Theo says, and I was just happy that he didn't comment on my slip.
"Okay, I'll see you later," I say with a smile on my face.
"You got it," Theo says ready to end the call, but I needed to know something first.
"Theo, how did you get my number?" I ask him, I didn't give it to anyone.
"We broke into the office and looked through your records until we find your number," Theo says in a matter of facts.
"Who is we?" I ask him.
"I'm invested in this too Stella! We'll see you after school, bye," Calesti's voice came from the other part of the phone, ending the call for the both of us.
"New friends?" mom asks me still giving me side looks.
"Yeah, they are my friends in school, they got worried when I left the school all of the sudden," I say with a glare at her, she's the one who picked me out of school early.
"And Theo is your new friend?" she asks me.
"Yeah, Theo goes to school with me," I say not telling her much.
"Is this Theo cute?" she asks me.
"Mom, are you trying to gossip with me?" I ask her.
"I'm trying to udnerstand what's going on," Mom says.
"I'm just going out with my friends after school," I say with a shrug.
"Who are these friends?" she ask now in a firmer voice, she sounded a lot firmer now.
"Calesti and Theo, Calesti is like my current best friend, she's his cousin, and they both go to school with us, Theo is the one who gave us a ride yesterday," I say explaining things to her.
"Text your father, tell him you're going out," she orders.
"Mom, I'm sixteen, I shouldn't be taking permission," I groan as I was texting my dad telling him I'm going out with my friends.
"I know, you're not taking permission, you're telling your worried parents where you're going so we won't be worried anymore," she says with a big smile on her face.
"Is home too far away?" I ask her with a groan, we've been sitting in this car forever.
"No, one more turn," she answer me.
"Mom, are we lost again?" I ask her, this town is very confusing, I have gotten lost yesterday, and I know mom was lost yesterday.
"No, one more turn," she answer me again, but I didn't believe her, I don't think we are one turn away.
Three turns later, and a couple swear words, and using the GPS, mom nemesis, we managed to get home, I was glad to walk in, I was going to suggest that we go and bring Finn home, but I wasn't ready to get lost on those streats once again. I went to my room and changed my uniform, I wore my own clothes, I changed to jeans and a sweater, I fixed my hair and put on some make up on my face making myself look less tired.
Maybe the doctor was right, I'm very pale, and my undereyes bag looked too deep and dark, my hair was thinner, and my cheecks has lost a lot of their roundness. I only been here a couple days, but I know that I have lost my appetite the moment I found out that we're leaving America.
I spent some time at home with mom, trying to avoid her so she won't be asking me anymore questions about Theo and who he is, I waited for my friends to come over, they took their time, I waited for the school time to end. It was very slow and painful, and then finally they came over to pick me up, I ran out of the door and joined them in the car, they were still in their uniforms, maybe I shouldn't have changed my clothes.
"Hey," I say blushing, thinking about going back up and changing back to my uniform.
"I like the sweater," Calesti says making me blush some more.
"Thank you, I didn't know you were coming here right after school," I say trying to explain why I have changed and they didn't.
"It's fine, one of us look great, me," Calesti says with a big smile on her face.
"You look awesome, Stella, ignore her," Theo says with a smile.
"Thank you," I say with a blush.
"You're welcome, are you sure you're feeling okay?" he asks me again.
"I'm fine, but the timing is opposite to what I'm used to," I say, looking at him, he's so hot.
"That must be hard," Theo says and Calesti chuckles.
"He's a liar, he loves staying up at night, if you need anyone to talk to during the night, just message him," Calesti says and he turns to her with a death glare.
"Don't believe everything she says, but you can text me anytime you want, you got my number now," he says with a smile that's meant just for me.
"Thank you," I say blushing, waiting for him to park the car, he took us toward the town, the middle of the town, he parked the car in front of a small diner.
"Where are we?" I ask Calesti.
"This is the place we usually hang out in, come on, you'll meet the rest," she says with a smile on her face, who's the rest?
"Okay," I say instead of asking who's the rest.
We walked inside the restaurant and saw who the rest were, the royals, they walked toward a table filled with people, some from school, others that I didn't recognize. I tried to smile and stayed near Calesti, trying my best not to show how scared and worried I am seeing everyone.
"Hey, boss," Theo says shaking hands with another guy, he was the opposite of Theo, black hair, dark black eyes, his eyes were the darkest I have ever saw.
"Who's the new girl?" The new guy asks.
"This is Stella, she goes to our school," Calesti says, intorducing me.
"Welcome to the gang," he says and then his eyes went fully toward me, I felt my whole body boiling wiht heat, I don't know what's this reaction I'm getting to this guy, but I felt the urge to lower my eyes, to look away, to do anything, but Iwas frozen in place.
"Thank you Milo," Calesti says, giving me a side hug, being there on my side when I needed her.
"Thank you, Milo," I repeat after her, the name was beautiful, I never heard it before, and I loved saying out loud.
"You're welcome princess, take a seat," he orders me, and I obeyed him, I did what he said right away, I couldn't imagine dissobeying him, I would do anything that he'll ask me to do.
"Stella...Stella..." I heard my name being called a couple time, I looked at who's calling me and noticed it was Theo.
"Yes?" I say, I was lost in my head with Milo, how and why was I having a crush on this guy that I just met?
"What do you want to drink? Coffee? Juice?" he asks me, and I shook my head.
"Just water, thank you," I say blushing.
"Are you okay?" the Milo guy asks me this time, he looked at me with worry as well, the same look Theo was giving me earlier.
"I'm fine, just jetlagged," I say giving him the best excuse the doctor gave me today.
"Where you from?" he asks me.
"The US," I tell him.
"Cool, a girl from over the seas," he says with a smile that was a killer smile, one that had my heart skipping a couple beats.
"Stella," Theo says getting my attention again, he took a seat next to me and tried to talk to me, but every time Milo talked or laughed, all I could do was turn to him, he had me captivated by him.
"Are you sure you're fine, we can go home if you want," Theo says sounding different now, he sounded frustrated and angry.
"I'm fine," I assure him.
"We can hang out somewhere else," he says giving Milo side glares the whole time.
"I'm good, I only been here yesterday," I say with a shrug, they can decide where we go.
"Come on, let's go out," Theo says, getting up and dragging me with him, I saw that Calesti was looking at us worriedly, even Milo looked at us as we left the place, he was pissed, or maybe he was jealous, I didn't mean to cause him any troubles, I don't even know why any of this is happening.
