Roselyn Bell

It was finally Lukas's wedding. We were just getting ready to leave for the venue. Moma had also invited Adriet but I was sure he wouldn't show up. Andrew had asked me if I would be his date but I politely declined. Chloe was currently in my room she was doing her makeup.

"So I heard you have been meeting Ross Miller," I said as I came out of the washroom.

"Yeah is that a problem," she asked, "And how do you guys know each other anyway" she inquired.

"Well, he's a partner in The Inn's" I replied.

"What"

"Yeah, I thought you were well acquainted with that fact" I shrugged.

"No I didn't know," she said while facing me,, "I never saw him in the hotel or anywhere" she replied.

"Not in those magazines," I asked.

"Oh come on Rosie you didn't know who was Adriet Rashnikov was how was I supposed to know who Ross Miller was"

"Yeah whatever," I said and applied some mascara and a light eyeshadow.

"Well he is really nice" she blushed a little, "Unlike other rich people he is really laid back and everything" I smiled at her.

"How many times have you actually gone out with him," I asked.

"About six to seven times" she replied.

"In two weeks?" I just can't believe her. She nodded sheepishly. I just rolled my eyes.

"What," she asked, "Come on Rosie" I just laughed it off. "I hope you really don't have any problem that I invited him," she said.

"No no, it's fine" I smiled at her.

"Okay let's go," I said and we made our way downstairs. Lila wasn't in a condition to walk so we decided to leave her behind. I felt bad for her. When we reached downstairs I saw Moma near the dining table going through a last-minute checklist. She was wearing a baize coloured dress which looked absolutely gorgeous on her. I went and back hugged her.

"Roselyn" she chuckled.

"Let's go," I said and pulled her with me.

"Okay Okay let's go," she said. I wore my coat and we made our way outside.

"Hello beautiful ladies, shall we," Andrew said and opened the passenger door for us. We quickly got in and drove to the venue. It was an indoor wedding as it was very cold outside. We soon reached the church.

"I'll just go and park the car and come," Andrew said and Moma and Chloe got out, "I'll just park the car and will be there," he said to me once again.

"It's okay we will go together" I replied. The truth was I just didn't want to face my hell of a grandmother and my rest of the family. I just needed some time before facing and hearing their taunting remarks. We finally came to the entrance of the hall.

"Andrew why don't you go in I'll join in a moment," I said and he went inside. I need to calm myself and act all cool. I didn't want them to know that they were affecting me.

"Okay relax there is nothing to worry they are nothing" I started calming myself and took a deep breath.

"Talking to yourself Bell" I heard someone saying. I turned and saw Adriet casually walking towards me. He was wearing a blue tuxedo and a bow tie. I had to agree whatever he used to wear looked good on him no matter what.

"I wasn't talking to myself" I replied while looking ahead of me.

"Oh really," he asked, "Look you were talking whatsoever either you talk to someone or you talk to yourself but as there is no one here I would assume it was the latter" he stated.

"Aren't being a little chatty today?" I asked.

"Am I" he chuckled. I just glared at him, "So don't you want to go in after all it's your brother's wedding" he asked.

"Yeah, why not" I replied, Why don't you go ahead I just need a minute," I said while looking ahead of me. There was a silence for a moment.

"Okay your one minute is over," he said and got hold of my wrist.

"Adriet wait," I said trying to free my wrist.

"What I know you don't have a date and there is nothing to be ashamed of" he replied with his boyish grin.

"Shut up"

"Come on"

"No"

"Don't get on my nerves Bell" I stayed silent at this time. There was noway in hell I could make an excuse now.

"Okay let's go," I said and walked ahead of him. I could hear his irritating chuckle but ignored it. When I entered church many people had already settled down. I saw Lukas near the aisle looking rally handsome and dashing in his tuxedo. He saw me and smiled.

"I'll be back," I said to Adriet and made my way towards Lukas. I hugged him really tightly.

"You are looking absolutely stunning," he said.

"Awe thank you. You are also not looking that bad yourself" I said with a chuckle.

"Oh thank you," he said. I saw grandma and my aunt Lisa were sitting just behind him and was glaring at me.

"Seems like the glaring competition has begun," I said and Lukas turned around.

"Don't worry about that?" he said, "You don't have to talk to them" he assured.

"Is won't but do you think they would stop without passing a comment" I sighed.

"Oh come on don't be so gloomy it's my wedding for heaven sake," he said and hugged me again.

"I think I should probably go now" I pulled away, "All the best" I kissed him on the cheek and went back to my seat.

I saw Ross and Chloe already seated next to Moma and just opposite to them Adriet was busy on his phone. I went and sat between Moma and Adriet.

"Scoot a little Adriet" I said while making some room for myself.

"God why don't you go somewhere else" he said in an irritated tone.

"Hey Ross" I greeted him.

"Hey Kitty," he said with a radiant smile.

"Okay now quite," mom said as the wedding song started to play. I saw Cole walking down the aisle with her father looking absolutely gorgeous. I saw Lukas who was smiling ear to ear. I looked at Moma who was weeping a little. I rubbed her shoulder and side hugged her. Somewhere deep down I wished how would have our life been if dad was still alive.

Cole and Lukas read their vows and kissed. The priest finally announced them Mr and Mrs Bell. We then made our way out of the church and to the reception hall which not that far from the church. Cole and Lukas had their first dance and soon everyone enjoyed them. I saw Moma and Adriet dancing together. Adriet was not evil with everyone he was just evil to me I thought. I went back to my table and sat there. I started scrolling through my phone. When I finally got bored of it I kept it aside and Chole and Ross were still dancing. Lukas and Cole were surrounded by many of our relatives. I saw Adriet was near the bar having few drinks with my sweet little evil cousin Rachel seated next to him who was trying to flirt with him constantly but Adriet was not giving her his attention. I saw Cole making her way towards me. I got up and hugged her.

"Congratulations," I said.

"Oh thank you," she said.

"Oh I got you something," I said and went and got my clutch. I took a box out and gave it to her.

"I just found it and thought it would be perfect for you," I said as she opened it. It was a little heart-shaped pendant with a C engraved on it.

"Aww thank you so much," she said, "Now can you help me putting it," she said as she took it out.

"Yeah sure," I said and made her wear the pendant, "It looks good," I said and she nodded.

"Now tell me how do you know Adriet Rashnikov," she asked.

"I don't know him" I tried to be naive.

"Yeah yeah" she rolled her eyes, "Come on you can tell me," she said.

"Well, he just helped me when Lila met with an accident" I shrugged.

"Are you sure" she narrowed her eyes at me, "You know because that doesn't seem like, just saying?" she said.

"Then what does it looks like," I asked.

"You know what I mean," she said and we just giggled. But she had to meet other guests also. I went back to my table where Adriet was already seated.

"So how was the flirting session with Rachel," I asked.

"Do you think it matters to me?" he said without tearing his gaze from his phone.

"Okay but I mean you know you could have enjoyed it I mean she is a package" I replied. Adriet kept his phone aside, "Regretting are we" I smirked.

"Never did that" he stood up and took my hand in his and guided me to the dance floor we started swaying slowly with few other couples around us. My one hand was on his muscular chest and the other one was holding his hand. He snaked his other hand around my waist which made me all stiff.

"Don't tell me Bell you haven't dance like this before" he chuckled.

"Not really," I said while trying not to step on his branded shoes, "Don't mind if I spoil your expensive shoes," I said to which he just chuckled.

"You got to loosen up a bit," he said but I wasn't able to do that. I was feeling nervous. I knew my ears were all red by now, "Are you nervous, Bell" he asked.

"No" I replied bluntly.

"Then look up at me" he demanded. I met up his gaze and saw something flicker in his deep blue eyes. I was lost in them. Those eyes held so many emotions that I never imagined. We were just looking at each other when my trance was finally broken.

"You have beautiful eyes," he said.

"Do I?" I asked sheepishly and have nodded. We danced for a while and then it was finally time to leave.

"Just watch your back Bell," Adriet said as we waited for our cars, "I think there are people following," he said.

"I know I can feel someone is watching over me," I said just then Moma came.

"Rosie I am going to your grandma's place tonight I hope you are fine with that sweety," she asked.

"Yeah Yeah go ahead" I said she gave Adriet a smile and went away.

"Why don't you go to your grandma's place" he asked.

"We are not on talking terms" I replied, "I thought Rachel already told you my relationship with them" I said.

"She did but not about your relationship with them" he replied. I knew exactly what she had told him.

"I hope you don't believe her words about me," I said.

"No I don't because I know how you are," he said and I just smiled at him. Just then his Ashton Martin pulled over.

"Mind if I drop you," he asked.

"Why are you being so nice," I asked.

"Okay if you don't wanna come it fine," he said and got into the car. I knew Andrew won't be going back home so I quickly got in.

"Finally agreed Bell" he smirked.

"Yeah whatever," I said and we drove away. In no time we reached my home. It was almost

"Oh you missed me didn't you" I ruffled her hair and hugged her. I decided to change my clothes and make some dinner for myself. I came down after changing into a yellow tank top and a cute pair of shorts. It was cold outside still it was warm and cozy inside. I came down and saw Lila wasn't near the aisle.

"Lila where are you," I said is an animated voice, "Lila" I yelled as I looked through the kitchen cabinet. I saw Lila near the fireplace.

"You are being really naughty," I said as I served some cereal for myself and settled myself on the couch with my blanket and Netflix. I was just a few episodes into The Dark when I heard the knock on the door. I thought that maybe the person will go but the knocking just got louder. I got up from the couch and went to open the door. Lila started coming behind me.

"I think you should back there girl," I said and opened the door and discovered whom I never wanted to meet.

"Took you long enough Ms. Bell" I hated that Russian accent. I tried to close the door but he stuck his foot between the door and the doorframe. I got hold of Lila's leash and dashed for the back door.

"Get the girl" he screamed. Lila stood there and started barking at them and lunched over one of them.

"Lila comes back" I yelled. I just then heard a gunshot. They had shot Lila.

"Lila" I stepped in her direction but I needed to run away from there. I went back to the door.

"Ms Bell you need to come with me" Robert yelled from behind but I opened the door and went out. It was way too cold. Cool airs were slapping my face. I was crying not because these people were behind me but Lila just died.

"Not so soon Ms. Bell" Robert said as he got hold of me by my hair.

"Robert please," I said while holding his arm.

"What please," He asked, "I know it wouldn't be long until Adriet arrives here so you need to come with me forcibly or by will I don't really care. But I think with this attitude of your I need to take you forcibly" he then took something out from his pocket which seemed like an injection and injected me right near my neck.

"Nothing will happen," he said when darkness finally consumed me.
