THE CHOICES OF THE HEART #Episode01

What if the stories were the same? But that the choices were different, would you be able to totally change your life and sacrifice it for the person you love? No ? What if true love really existed? So here is that story,

We are in New Delhi (India) where our story takes place.

It was a beautiful day in the Chatourvedi family home, It was a small house in a not very rich neighborhood, But it was full of good feelings and good humor, The house was inhabited by 5 people including Niru (The father of family), Kamla (the mother of the family), Chiv(The eldest son), Raoul (the youngest) and Chadna (Chiv's wife and the family's daughter-in-law)

Kamla was cooking,

Kamla: Chadna!! but where is this girl? Cha....

We see a young woman come running into the room, she was dressed traditionally and looked so happy,

Chadna: Mom, did you call me?

Kamla: but where the hell were you? Do you think I can bake all these cakes on my own?

Chadna: (smiling) Mom Of course I will help you, A stepdaughter must always help her stepmother otherwise how dare I call you stepmom?

Kamla: don't flatter me and cook instead, how is Chiv? He is awake ?

Chadna: (nods) he woke up very early this morning because he had a lot of stuff at work

Kamla: I hope he gets a promotion. He worked so hard he deserved it

Chadna: yes, uh mom I have an idea why not pray that he can get a promotion?

Kamla: That's a good idea! After breakfast we will go to the temple what do you say?

Chadna: (nods her head)

Afterwards, the whole family was having breakfast:

Niru: so you want to continue your studies?

Raoul: yes dad, I know that you preferred that I could work because we all know that in India it is....it's really complicated so I would like to professionalize myself so that I cannot have problems in the future !

Chadna: Dad I think Raoul is right

Niru: Chadna!

Chadna: (takes Niru's hand) listen to handsome daddy if today he is looking for a job knowing him he will surely find one, but do you think the money will be enough for him to be a happy man? But if he continues his studies .. .(smiles at him) it's certain that in a few years he will have a good job

Raoul: (shakes his head) Sister-in-law is right, come on dad

Niru: go go! Do what you want

Raoul: (happy)

The landline phone starts ringing, Chadna picks up:

Chadna: yes Hello?

Chiv: How's my darling little wife?

Hearing this sentence and the Chadna lane turns red,

Chadna: but what... (Shy) why are you calling?

Chiv: Luckily you answered because I need to talk to you.

Chadna: yes

Chiv: can you come see me at the restaurant? I would like to have dinner alone with you, since we got married we spend all our time with the family

Chadna: I agree with you but...

Chiv: don't think too much and tell the parents you just want to come see me

Chadna: hmmm okay I'm coming

Shiv: I love you!

Chadna: I love you even more

Kamla: what did you call?

Chadna: uhhh it was Chiv he needs me for....for a little thing so....

Niru: you're really not good at lying so go meet him

Chadna: (smiles) you know me so well daddy! I'll get ready and go (she goes to her room)

A few hours later, Chadna arrives at the place agreed with Chiv, it was a small restaurant:

Chadna: Chiv for....why did you bring me here?

Chiv: (gives her a flower) A romantic lunch

Chadna: I just finished eating and you..... In short, I'm going to eat to make you happy!

Chiv: (smiles) come on

They enter the restaurant, the restaurant was not the most beautiful in town...

Chiv: that's all i can offer you i hope you like it

Chadna: (takes both her hands) you gave me a family I remind you that before meeting you I was the little orphan, thanks to you I have a family how can you tell me that?

Chiv: (touches her cheek) you're a girl who deserves a lot more

Chadna: (smiles) Let's eat!

They order something, Back home,

Niru: I have a hell of a headache!

Kamla: how could you not be in pain? You just lift those bags all day of course you'll end up in pain but I have an idea! I'll boil some hot water and massage your head okay?

Niru: ok

Kamla goes to the kitchen and turns on the gazette, after boiling some water she goes out without turning off the gazette:

Kamla: lie down, I'll massage your head (Niru lies on his feet)

Niru: you always take care of me

Kamla: isn't that the role of a woman? (Laugh)

Raoul: mum after massaging dad's head could you massage me too?

Kamla: find yourself a wife!

They were laughing... After a few hours of going to the restaurant Chadna and Chiv decide to go home they were in a motorcycle taxi, when they arrive near their house and turn red with shock because they see that their house is on fire :

Chiv: (shocked) Dad mom!

Chadna: (shocked) but how?

They approach the house but the fire was too strong...

Chiv: listen Chadna go to neighbor and ask for help I....I will try to get everyone out of the fire

Chadna: are...are you crazy? How could you do this? (worried) listen let's wait for the firefighters to arrive and...

Chiv: what are you talking about? As long as we have the opportunity to help them, I think the door must have blocked and they couldn't get out!

Chadna: (shakes her head) don't go Chiv!

Chiv: (kisses her on the forehead) I'll be right over!

Chiv enters the house, Chadna starts screaming for people to come help her, neighbors of theirs had called the fire department and it had already been a few seconds since Chiv was inside...

Chadna: Chiv....(worried) I better go maybe Chiv needs me

She was going forward but men are holding her back...

--- What do you want to do? Can't you see there's fire? Your husband is surely dead in there!

Chadna: (furious, pushes them away) What nonsense are you talking about? My husband is alive! I know it... (touches her bridal necklace) I feel it so what do you say? I have to help him get out of there...

She takes a step forward and there BAAAAMMMMMM ?? EVERYTHING explodes Chadna is stunned...

Chadna: (shouting) CHIV!!!!!!!! No no... Mom, Dad!!!! (In tears) Chiv!!!!! My God

She touches her mouth and does not believe it at the same time the firefighters arrive...

Chadna: (shocked) Chiv!!! Please help my husband and beautiful family (in tears) I can't lose them please help!!!

Another BOMMMMMM and there Chadna faints, A few hours later Chadna wakes up in a hospital,

Chadna: (sees a doctor) Doc....doctor! (She gets up) I... where is my husband?

Doctor: Miss, rest, you need to calm down, especially since you are pregnant.

Chadna: In...pregnant? (smiles) my God I'm sure they'll be happy to hear this news where my family members are

Doctor: Miss...

Chadna comes out of her hospital room and begins to look around when she sees an inanimate body which is heading towards the room (morgue), On the hand of this body there was a bracelet (That Chadna had offered to Chiv) she slowly approaches the room:

--- Who....who allowed you to enter here?

Doctor: (comes) leave her

Chadna approaches the bed where the body was, she opens the sheet and there falls on her legs it was indeed Chiv

Doctor: we are sorry miss, but your husband unfortunately died in this accident! (Chadna shakes her head she couldn't believe it) firefighters and police found ashes and..... And body parts limb remains and.. .bodies identified indicate there were 3 bodies in the house

Chadna: Mom, Dad and Raoul (starts laughing)

Doctor: You must be shocked but...

Chadna: no, they can't leave me, especially since I'm pregnant! Chiv please.... Please wake them up, I...I can't live without them you see I.... (Crying) I can't live without my Chiv s' please help me! (Crying) God help me I can't be alone in the world again!! No not yet !!!

She was in tears and inconsolable, A few days later she was living in a boarding school for women (widows, homeless .....), after the tragedy Chadna had become so sad did not speak to anyone and ate very little when the director of the boarding school arrives:

Gauri: (another pensioner) But Chadna tries to eat at least one bite, damn it, look at you, you've become very thin

Chadna: I don't want to eat, leave me alone

Gauri: but

Aksha: (the director) Chadna I think you should eat (she sits down)

Chadna: I just want to starve and go join my family (shed tears) they....they left me alone in this world how can I continue to live without them? Tell me ?

Aksha: Imagine that... I created this boarding school because I myself am a widow and without a family and you see Gauri, she is an orphan!

Chadna: (sheds tears)

Aksha: but these horrible events did not weaken us but made us stronger! Don't you think that at the time I also wanted to end my life? Of course, if I was so angry with God, but do you think that if at the time I had committed suicide as you want to do now, today this pension would be there?

Chadna: (crying) I just want my Chiv back, Aksha I miss them so much I....I'm not as strong as you I can't live without Chiv

Aksha: I remind you that you are pregnant Chadna, how can you make your baby suffer so much? He's a little innocent who didn't ask for anything

Chadna: (in tears)

Aksha: (also sheds a tear) Chadna you are a strong woman at least live for your baby! Because he is a human being who deserves a lot

Chadna: (crying) I'm a bad mother! I will not be a good mother Aksha

Aksha: (hugs her) we're here ok? We'll help you be a great woman don't worry... We'll raise your child with you so stop crying

Chadna was crying in Aksha's arms,

Gauri: Ouch you're going to make me cry too, Chadna sister Aksha is right... You are such a sensitive woman for sure you will give all your love to your child

Chadna: (touches her stomach) I'm going to eat for my child!

Gauri: Really? Come on hold!

She gives him a dish and chadna was eating while crying,

Chadna: don't worry I....I'm going to feed you my baby (crying) you'll be big and strong like your daddy ok? Everything will be alright

Gauri was looking at her and couldn't help shedding tears so much she hurt for Chadna.

9 YEARS Later,

As they say time heals wounds but unfortunately does not heal scars, we could see in the boarding school a little boy running around and making all the women uncomfortable:

--- but....why is this child so restless? Keep it steady!

Gauri: (runs after him, shouts) imagine you that I'm doing my best, but... (Tired) he's so energetic

The little boy turns around, he had such a beautiful face like an angel fallen from heaven

Aayan: Catch me if you can!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Gauri: if I catch you it will be to kill you come here!

Aayan was running around,

--- but stop it!

Suddenly a hand stops him,

Aayan: but let go of me (turns) Oopsss!

Chadna: yes oopssss

Aayan: (Thinks: I'm screwed!)

Gauri: (out of breath)
