chapter 6

Zaheerah Pov

Its already three month that i came to Paris for my Phd program am always at home if i don't have any important thing to do outside so i have decided to go out today and visit some places just to leave the house for once to enjoy the cool breeze of Paris

I walk to the toilet took my bath and open my walk in closet to get some thing to wear i was just checking inside the closet because i don't even know what to wear then i caught the sight of trouser and top so i decided that i should just wear it like that

I brought the cloth out and place it on the bed before sitting in front of the mirror to rub cream comb my hair and put on some lip balm because am the type that don't freak out with make up i prefer my natural glow after all these i move to the bed to start dressing with the trouser and top.  When i was through i check myself out from head to toe and was satisfy with my dressing because the cloth is not that tight on me and is long enough up til my knee so i walk to the shoe rack to put on my shoe which i decide to wear covered shoe since am wearing English wear,  i pick up my Vail and tie it on my head before i take the car key and left the house

I walk to the parking slot nodding my head to the servant that were greeting me because i don't feel like talking now so i continue nodding my head to all of them till i left the house after the gate have been open for me

I went straight to the hospital where i was working before to greet some of my colleague since it been long i met them so i decide to buy some snack along for us to munch on while talking

I park in front of the shopping mall to buy the snacks i left the car and head straight to where snacks and other thing are kept after taking the ones needed i pay the cashier without wasting much of my time i drove directly to the hospital in not less than five minute because its not that far from where i stay

I enter inside to see that the place was filled up with sick patient every where so i walk to the cabin before entering i heard my name and turn to see the owner of the voice that is none other than my colleague that is friend and sister

Kareema i said excitedly and we gave each other a bone crushing hug laughing at the same time before we leave each other arm

" Heerah is that you i thought am not seeing you hear in Paris again till i come to Nigeria"

I smile at what she said why will you say that

"Well" she said looking at somewhere else but not my face

"Is just that i did not expect to see you here again since you have nothing to do don't get me wrong"

I smile as the way she was talking but she's my friend after all the one and only friend that call me Heerah even after we graduated from school

I change the topic so how have you been coping with all these works hope you're not stressing you're self

"See who is talking about stress but nevertheless am fine Alhamdulillah"

Then that good to hear here take these i bought them on my way coming because i know you have not eaten because of all these patients am seeing around

" Seriously you're right but let me wash my hand first before i start eating"

Ok no problem but be fast

"Ok Mum"

I laugh at her statement because that what she call me any time i ask her to be fast or do something for me

"So how have you been what of Amma Daddy Abida because they are the only ones at home i will ask of"

Alhamdulillah they are all fine thank you

"You're welcome so what are you doing here in Paris because i don't think you will just come like that without any reason so spill it"

You're not serious you know that

"I know am not serious but just tell me or is that you're back to continue working here because you miss me"

Awwn see you am not here for you but for my Phd program

"You should have say that on time i couldn't have my hope high that you're here to continue working"

See who is talking eat you're snacks and stop talking none stop

"Thank you but you're still welcome and i will see you around for some month before you leave right"

Yes you will so how have you been

"Alhamdulillah have been doing fine even though i miss you and wish you will stay here to continue to work"

You know that not possible because Daddy is not going to allow me so just forget about that and talk about something else

"Hmmm i know am just wishing that all so whats up"

Nothing i just decided to visit you because am tired of sitting at home without doing anything that all

"So if not because you're tired of sitting at home you could not have tell me you're around that good of you"

Its not like that but okay am sorry for not calling or informing you first my Reema

"She smile you're trying to make me forgive you that why you're using that name"

Yes Reema i said blinking my eyes for her

"You got me OK have forgiven you but next time don't do that okay"

I promise its  won't repeat it self

So when are you closing because it seems you're on morning shift

"Yes i am but i can't leave because Christian called in sick"

Oh sorry i forget to ask about him and Helena

"Well they are fine but Christian called in that his sick and can't make it so i should cover for him till tomorrow he will do both of our shift"

Eyyah sorry so you're sleeping here i guess

"Am not sure yet depend on the patient were having"

Ok all the best what of Helena have not seen her since i came in

"Yes she's on leave but resuming on Monday"

Then that means you're all alone no friend to chat with

" Am not because you're already here to keep me company"

Says who i will soon be leaving so don't get you're hopes high that am staying with you

"Okay whatever you say but i don't think am sleeping here after the night check up i will leave"

That's good i think i have to be going see you around tomorrow

"Ok take care bye"

Same to you i left her alone in the cabin and walk out of the hospital straight to where my car was parked and drove off

When i arrived at home i was exhusted so i just went straight to my room to take my bath and change into something comfortable

When i came out from the toilet i dress up into bum shot and singlet since am not going anywhere and no male servent is allow to come in without my permission so i walk out of the room to the parlour

I pick my Ipad to write something when i switch it on and notice its not mine

I was confuse how comes these Ipad is not mine i did not recall giving my own to anyone that when i recall the incident that took place in Nigeria at the airport

Shit i hope he did not open it because there is no password

What if he open it and go through my thing OMG i don't pray he should

What if he sees it
