Chapter 5

"Have you prepared yourself for fresher's day?" Maya asked.

"Umm... not yet" I replied and fixed my hairs.

"Are you serious?? Only two days are left" she sent me a glare.

"Hmm, but you know I'm too bad at shopping and choosing dresses and there's no one to help me..so..." I said with a frown face.

"Wow, what an excuse, like I'm dead naa" she slapped my arms.

"Ouch, it's hurting " I gave her a fake glare.

"Miss drama queen, I'm giving you five minutes, be ready" she shoved her stuff in her bag and slung on her shoulders. 

" Where are we going?" I gave her a questioning look.

"Shopping, of course.. now please hurry up"

"Aww, I loveee youuu" I pulled her in a  tight hug.

"I hate u bish" she unwrapped my hands from her body and squeezed my cheeks. 

At Mall

"Woah" I gasped as my eyes landed on a beautiful navy blue color gown.

"You like it?? Go and try " Maya handed me that dress.

As I looked at my reflection in the mirror, my jaws dropped. It was too revealing.

" Wow bitch, you look beautiful, just look at yourself,  you are slaying damn," Maya said in an exciting tone.

"Yesss, I see, but you know it's too revealing,  I can't wear this, I need something Islamically designed.  I sighed.

Call me conservative or anything but  I can't expose my body...Well, I was kinda religious. 

"Okay, let's see something else" Maya took a deep breath.

Finally, I found a beautiful black long dress, Wow...I loved it...now I was looking for a matching hijab...hey Did I mention that I was a hijabi...I wasn't a perfect Muslim, I did a lot of haram stuff too like I was addicted to music, I  watched my favorite shows, and yess I had some little crushes on cute boys of my school.  But I'm trying to be a good Muslim, so I avoid boys,  yess you might be amazed but I had never talked to boys in my entire life...it was kinda tough as Maya always hung out with boys. Well, tbh I found many boys cute and hot Astagfirullah...... but whenever they tried to approach me, I put them down.

"Maya, I'm hungry, let's go somewhere " my stomach was grumbling. And we both headed to our favorite restaurant.

As we took our seats, my eyes traveled to someone and I stopped. Zain and Eva... Wow,  I was staring at them, then suddenly Zain lifted his head and looked at me.  Our eyes were glued for some time, there was something in his eyes that I stared at him so long, suddenly my conscience hit me and I came back to my senses and I pulled away. I knew it's haram to stare at any boy but I didn't know why I didn't stop myself.

"Mhmm," Maya licked her lips as she took the bite of the burger, and I smiled.

"I told you they have the best burgers, " I took a big bite of the burger and closed my eyes from the pleasure hitting my tongue.
