Chapter 5: Kidnapped by Monsters

The area was quiet and dimly lit; a handful of lights surrounded the place, but only a few were actually working. I looked all around and still didn’t see anything. Stepping out of my room, I looked over to my window, wondering if maybe a bird had flown into the glass. Yet, there were no signs of anything hitting the window. My eyes roamed over the parking lot, and a dark chill tickled my spine, causing the tiny hairs on my arms to rise. I walked over to my car and knelt next to the front passenger side tire, inspecting the damage.

My breath caught in my throat when my eyes landed on the large gash. Someone had done this to my tire; someone had punctured it with a sharp object. I stood to my feet, remaining as calm as I could, even though my heart was pounding in my chest. My eyes darted around, and I listened intently, but there was no movement, no sounds.

I backed away from the car and turned around, walking back to my room. Even though I couldn’t see or hear anything, I could feel that I wasn’t alone. I made it to my door and extended my arm out, reaching for the handle, but before I could grasp onto it, I felt another's presence standing right behind me.

I tilted my head back and looked up, seeing a man standing there with a wicked smile on his shadowed face. “Hello, beautiful.” He said before clasping a hand over my mouth, and then everything went dark.

I finally came to groaning in pain when my limbs screamed in agony. As my head started to clear, I felt the ache of my knees as they throbbed from the cold hard floor. The taste of blood and something else lingered in my mouth. I attempted to lick my lips but instead licked a piece of duct tape that covered my mouth. I opened my eyes only to see darkness, and to make matters worse, I couldn’t move. I sucked in a deep breath and shook my head; I had no idea what kind of situation I was in or if I would even get out of it alive.

I slowed my pounding heart and listened to my surroundings. I could hear multiple voices, primarily male, but I could also hear the faint sound of crying, and it sounded feminine.

Heavy boots thudded against the floor, getting closer with each step. Then, abruptly, a rough hand clasped around my arm and yanked me up to my feet. My knees buckled, and I nearly collapsed back to the ground, but the man's grip tightened around my arm, keeping me steady.

“Don’t move.” The man said in a deep voice.

My hands were bound behind my back, and my ankles were tied together. How in the hell was I expected to stand here and not move? Finally, the man let me go, and I wobbled a little as I tried to keep my balance.

Suddenly, my blindfold was roughly removed, and I wrinkled my nose as the bright lights blinded me. I blinked rapidly, and as my eyes finally came into focus, I took in the room. The floors were tiled with black and white marble, the walls covered in black paint, and golden spherical light fixtures hung from the ceiling. I looked around the room and saw four other women standing in a row next to me, and two burly men stood fiercely in front of us women.

I turned my gaze to the woman next to me; her eyes were bloodshot as tears streamed down her face, and she had a large gash across her forehead. I tried to get her attention, but I was only attracting the wrong person's attention as one of the men whipped around and glared at me immensely. So I ceased my attempts to gain her attention and instead observed the two men knowing that if I got out of here, I would need to give a description.

The male closest to me was tall, broad and muscular with shaggy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He was clean-shaved, and both arms were covered in tattoos.

The male farthest from me was shorter than the first man; he had short black hair, and from what I could tell, he had dark coffee-coloured eyes. The man was lean, and the tone of his muscles peaked through his long sleeve shirt.

Both men gave off a strong aura, and their physical appearance only added stock. They were scary, and if I wanted to get out of this situation alive, I would have to play my cards right.

Blondie stepped forward, standing tall and straight. “Sir, they are ready.” He said in a deep tone, and I followed his line of sight, just now realizing that there was a third man in the room with us, who sat inside of a large oval bathtub.

The tub was black with a gold inlay and fashioned with golden antique-style faucets, masking yet highlighting the evil that lurked within the water. The man stood, water dripping down his toned back, as he ran his fingers through his wet hair.

He stepped out of the bathtub completely naked, and as much as I wanted to, I couldn’t tear my gaze away from the god-like man.

His skin was tanned, his body lean and muscular. He had a grim reaper tattoo covering most of his back, and various other tattoos littered his body, giving him a rugged façade. Then, finally, the man turned to face everyone, and now I could see his face more clearly. He was clean-shaven, with a sharp jawline, plump lips, light ash brown hair and the most captivating hazel eyes I had ever seen. I couldn’t stop myself from staring, even though a voice in my head told me to stop eye fucking the very man who had taken me captive.

After he dried his body, he put on a pair of black pants and a white dress shirt that hugged his toned muscles. The man walked over and stood between the other two men, his eyes scanning the lineup of women before him.

He was silent and held no emotions on his face as he stepped forward, approaching the girl at the far end. The girl whimpered, tears streaming down her face as he stood in front of her. The man gripped her chin and turned her face side to side, scrutinizing her features.

The man towered over every woman, instilling fear within them without even saying a word or making a move. He continued down the line inspecting each girl, and as he approached the third woman, he brought his face to the crook of her neck. I tried to lean forward to see what he was doing, but all I could see was his back, and a look of pure horror etched on the girl's face. She began to squirm and whimper loudly, trying to free herself from his grasp.

Suddenly, the man pulled back, and the girl collapsed to the floor, her body lying lifeless on the marble tile. He reared back, wiping his face with a clothe and when he turned in our direction, that’s when I noticed the droplets of blood staining his white shirt. Why was there blood on his shirt? I looked at the girl on the floor and saw what looked like bite marks on her neck and blood trickling down her skin from the fresh wounds. What the fuck was going on here, and why did he bite her? I was in trouble, we all were, and I would do whatever it took to get the fuck out of here.

Once the man approached the girl next to me, he started to do the same as he had done with the others, but as the man brought his face to her neck, her sobs only increased, and I couldn’t remain silent any longer.

“STOP!” I said, my voice muffled by the cloth that still covered my mouth.

He stilled before slowly turning his head in my direction, and now, those haunting hazel eyes were locked on me. I stood there unmoving, doing everything in my power not to show him how terrified I was at this moment. The dark energy he gave off was overwhelming and dizzying.

The man stepped towards me, radiating with malevolence, and his lethal gaze never left mine. He stood in front of me now, his face mere inches from mine

The corner of his mouth tilted up in a smirk. “Seems as though this one has spirit.”
