Chapter 4

"So why are you here in the human world? You're immortal so I assumed that you have your own world of immortals, Am I right?"

"Yeah, actually I am free to tell you whatever I want because I already mark you. That mark will automatically transformed at what you call a tattoo. The rule is, if you break any of your promises, something bad will happen"

"What rule is that?"

"First one is to not tell or you shouldn't be a traitor to one another and the second one is to not have a private relationship or a deep relationship to other immortals"

"What if you, you're the one who fell in love?"

"One of us will die..."

I just shrugged my shoulders so we continued walking. We're heading to the cafeteria. I'm not that hungry but maybe Armenia is. While we were walking, many eyes are looking at our way and it's damn awkward. Boys and girl's eyes everywhere. Look like we'll have a war before we reach the cafeteria?

"Don't be nervous. They can only point their eyes at us but they can't harm us"

Armenia said so I smiled at her and ignored those who were watching us.

I got a beef steak with a can of juice while Armenia get a piece of chocolate cake with a can of juice too. We sat down and then started eating.

"So what do you do for living Liliana?"

I look at her and then smiled.

"I have a full-time job when it's Saturday and Sunday, then part time job every Friday"

I replied while chewing.

"How about you? I guess you are one of the rich immortal, Am I right?"

She nodded and smiled at me.

"I'm living with my brother and we already lost our mom and dad but still we can handle our living"

"Sorry to hear that"

I said but she just smiled.

We finished eating. We are no longer in school this afternoon so I am straight to work.

"So where are you going now?"

Armenia ask me while sipping her canned juice.

"Work. I need to work for myself so I can live my life"

I answered and open my can juice.

"Where are your parents?"

She asked again.

"I don't know where my father is while, I already lost my mom when I was 5 years old. She was involved in a car accident"

"O my god! I'm sorry for asking, I thought you were just separated from your parents and they are somewhere else"

She exclaimed.

"No it's fine, We're quits now"

She also laughed because of what I said.

"Can we go for a walk before going to your working station? I'm a bit bored and I have nowhere else to go"

I nodded. It's only 10:55 am. I still have 12 work starts.

"So what work is that?"

"I'm a waitress in Lucky Patch Restaurant"

"You don't have any siblings? Other relatives?"

She asked but she also added immediately something

"Sorry if I have a lot of questions huh. We are running out of topics so I open up yours"

"No it's fine. Actually just now I felt having someone here. I don't know why. I feel they are all mad at me and then they always look at me every time I pass the hallway"

She laughed out loud at me.

"I will not be surprised because of what they are doing to you. You are beautiful Liliana. No! I mean beyond beautiful is yours"

I laughed at what she said.

"Maybe I can believe you in that Armenia hahaha"

"I'm serious Liliana. I already noticed it last semester and you're quite good. Actually I also see you at the library when you are wearing glasses on and you tie your hair in a bun"

I was a little shocked because she already knew me before. And she also sees me in the library wearing glasses

I'm speechless. I don't know what to say so I just smiled sparingly at her.

We are currently walking in I do not know where. I glance at my watch it's 11:05 am

"What time do you work? Maybe we'll just go there. If you still have time, let's have some desserts there while waiting for your time. And take note it's my treat"

She said and I nodded

"Okay hahaha"

"Actually, I am a vampire" I got shock so I move a bit of distance.

"But don't worry because as I said earlier, we are now in-bond. That means that we can't hurt each other but protect each other. You know, it's very hard to look for someone who is capable of being with you until your last breath. That's why before I pick you as my sister, I firstly stalked you for about a year so I know that we will be good friends. Atleast I got to know you much better right?" I sighed.

'Yeah ofcource. It is something that anyone could wish for. To have someone who can cherish every moment with you. I actually don't feel scared at all. I just got shock because my mom and I used to talk about vampires when I was young. I didn't thought that I could have one and will also be my friend until forever"

"I would love to hang out with you anytime soon and show you my world" I smiled. I feel like I am full of love today. That I can keep my smile until I fall asleep. I heard her phone rang so she get it.

"I think I need to go first Liliana! See you!"

She was in a hurry with her bag.

"Bye! see you!"
