CHAPTER 1
I woke up feeling nervous and unhappy. I had a bad nightmare but I can't recall it again. I got up and tie my hair in a bun. Walk to the nearest mirror. I look pale. My lips is a bit reddish but it's pale. My eyes? It's not glowing anymore. My skin? It's a very pale white. I look Anemic. I don't glow anymore. I stand straight and saw my self in the mirror. I'm already thin. I'm also tired. I feel that my tummy is shaking in hunger.
I get my towel and enter the comfort room. I strip my clothes and break the tie in my hair. I let the cold water seep through my body. I feel the weight of my body. I feel nothing now. I am no longer nervous. I am no longer afraid. I can only hear the water falling. I also soaked for a few hours until I just felt that I was taking the soap and wash my body. I washed every part of my body to avoid the dirt. I also applied shampoo on my head. And again I soaked under water. Feeling every cold of it.
I turned off the shower and took the towel then wrapped it around my body. I'm now feeling relaxed. But still my tummy is shaking in hunger. So I wear my clothes and start boiling the water. I opened a nissin cup noodles and put the spice in it. As I waited for the water to boil, I combed my hair and dried it. I brush my hair peacefully. I'm hearing nothing but the water I'm boiling and my breathing.
I stood up and opened the window. I inhaled the smooth wind. I heard birds. I looked up at the sky. It is as if the sky is warning and soon it will rain. I heard the hot water boiling so I turned off the gas stove and the put hot water on my noodles. I close it first and put something heavy on it to trap the heat and cook the noodles.
I sat in the chair while looking around. But my eyes focused on a corner where there was a cabinet. I walk over to it and opened the cabinet. The thing I touched was dusty. The book my mother always red for me. My mother always read this book for me before I sleep. She never tires of repeating it if I want to. I love my mother very much. She did everything for me.
But she got sick. I was left alone. I missed her a lot. I wish she was happy wherever she is now. I scribbled the book so I could see its beautiful image again. My favorite book. It's about vampires. Vampire kills people. Vampire sucks blood. My mom was full of blood that time. So I assumed that vampires are the suspects. But I realize one thing. They did not kill my mother. My mom said that vampires only suck blood. But why was my mother full of blood then? Is it really because of vampires? But the doctor said, she was drove out by a car.
I don't understand that before because I was too young. But when I turn 10, I already knew what the doctor said.
My mom was involved to a car accident. I was just 5 by then. I don't know any information about such things.
So when I turn 10, I research everything about car incidents. I'm so mad. The owner of the car did not return to pay for what he did to my mother. That owner of the car is merciless. He didn't gave any support. He let her bathe in her blood.
I open the first page and touched it. My hands are getting dusty. I was about to open the next page when I was shock by a sound. I stood up and dropped the book on the floor. I peeked at the source of the sound and saw a black cat.
"Meow!"
I went out and took the cat. This cat is cute. Its blue eyes glaze over. It is not like other cats with different eyes. It's eyes are the same color. I peek at its under tail to see if it was a girl or a boy. This is a male cat. I do not know whose cat it is but I felt joy in my chest when I saw this cat.
Black cats are called bad luck. But for me, they are all lucky. It's eyes were beautiful. Like a shining star. I stroked its thick and soft fur. It calmed down. I laid it on the soft little pillow then I stood up. I get my milk to have him some and put it in a small bowl with normal water temperature. I laid it on the floor so the cat jumped to bite the small pillow. There he lay while drinking milk. I wash my hands and then took my noodles. I overheated it so it get a bit fuzzy.
I sat next to the cat so it look at me but only for a moment and drank again.
