Chapter 15 Little Tiger? (1)

Xue Hai's wedding was going to be held in three days while Xue Liang felt that she deserved it. Consort Wan Bao couldn't even explain at all or else she would reveal that she was trying to get Xue Liang with Prince Yu. Consort Ling Fe showed up to Xue Liang looking at her. "You came to ask me, right?"

"No, I came to check on you. I was worried and I got the story from Rong anyway. What you did was good. I'm glad you weren't hurt in the process." Her mother looked at her then leaving them both to stare at the pond of koi fish.

"Mother, do you ever think about going back to a free life?" Xue Laing then decided to ask if her mother ever missed being free and roaming the open land.

"Hmm... En, I sometimes do, but if I did then I would be leaving my children and my only love behind. Having all of you is my happiness. A mother would always love their children, but there are those that would take them for granted. Never take your children for granted mostly when they love you dearly for who you are." Her mother looked at Xue Liang who completely understood her meaning. "Alright, you can go. I need to help your father with the wedding." Her mother said lastly and hugged Xue Liang as she left. Su Rong was with her now as they decided to get out. They dressed as men as they went out for the whole day.

"Ah, we're going to spend the time of our life right now. It's been a long time." Xue Liang then dragged Su Rong's hand rushing out meeting her mother before they left. "Mother, were going out to look for some thing and probably spend time with an old friend." Her mother nodded as her brother just watched them go.

"Don't let those two girls go. Kill them." Consort Wan Bao then said told the men in black suit bowed and ran off.

"It seems as though my lover is very angry." A man then hugs Consort Wan Bao from behind as she smiled.

"Don't think I won't let her off. My daughter is my beloved." She said.

"Don't forget our son. Your daughter isn't mines but your son is." He only hugged her as she smiled.

Down at the market street Su Rong and Xue Liang were walking the area as they went from a shop to another. Going around to the other areas as they smiled walking beside one another. Night came as it was empty streets now with barely anything in mind to do. Both girls needed to head back but they heard footsteps behind them as they found it odd.

"Rong." Xue Liang called her as she nodded. Both started running as they didn't bring their swords. Running, they had jumped onto the rooftops. Fighting the spies but they knew who had sent them.

Su Rong and Xue Liang were then separated running into the forest. The forest was the only place they knew well. The spies threw poison needles as it hit Xue Liang. Both shifted into the forest with no spies around as they went different ways making them all lose sight of them.

"Su Rong! We'll meet back at home!" Xue Liang then roared from afar as it echoed through the forest giving the spies a warning ahead of what to expect. Xue Liang then charged at the spies as they didn't expect a tiger to be in the forest to charge at them.

She scratched and clamped down the spies with her razor teeth as she took down three, decreasing their numbers. The rest retreated, Xue Liang was feeling the poison within her, but her body was large taking longer for the poison to take effect quicker. Xue Liang stumbled upon seeing Liu Gang was fighting with suspicious men.

Creeping on them, she soon saw him cut the throats of the men like they were insects. Leaving one alive, his sword was at the last man's throat. "Who sent you?" Liu Gang gave off a deadly stare at the man who was sent to harm him.

"P-Prince Y-Ye, he sent us to rid of you because you are a wall to him blocking his way." The man stuttered pulling out a small dagger behind his back.

Xue Liang struck the man as he screamed in pain, biting down the man at the throat leaving him dead. Xue Liang panted looking at Liu Gang witness her bloody actions. He met her eyes seeing the necklace still remaining around her neck after so many years.

"Little tiger?" She looked at him with her amber eyes as she fell to her side with the poison starting to take effect making her remember that she was still poisoned. She soon started coughing blood while Liu Gang ran to her side. Seeing poison needles struck in her as he removed it.

"Poison needle. Hang on little tiger!" He then took out the needles as he took out a pill. Putting it into her mouth, she swallowed it willingly when it could save her life. He then saw the flower amber necklace knowing that it was indeed her with no other tiger that could process such amber eyes. "You'll be okay. I'll stay here with you." He rubbed her head with his hand hearing her panting heavily. Liu Gang saw the necklace seeing how she had grown big. He was worried for her wiping the blood off her mouth and anywhere else on her body.

Xue Liang woke up seeing Liu Gang was awake and saw her awake. They were in the forest with Xue Liang getting up and stumbling a bit.

"Little tiger?" Xue Liang saw him, she started walking forth wanting water. Smelling for water she then came across the river by following her nose. Liu Gang went down as he also took a sip of water using his hands. She started drinking from the river water as she then laid down after under the sun to feel the heat. Liu Gang came up to her, slowly sitting down beside her. "I never expected to see you save me again." Xue Liang crawled to him licking the side of his cheek. He rubbed her head feeling good that she was safe and healthy while he was away. "I want to play with you for a bit so keep up with me." Xue Liang was confused as she then stopped and saw Liu Gang shifted into a Lion. His great mane was bright as gold and his purple eyes glowing beautifully.

"I didn't know I could turn into a big cat, but I enjoy this form more than anything else. Turning into this at age fifteen was a struggle during the Ming border." He spoke to Xue Liang understanding everything but she didn't speak a word. Xue Liang then started running up first, she stopped and looked down at him if he was going to follow her or not. "You want me to follow you?"

Liu Gang then ran after her as she ran off first. Running to the cliff, she stopped and growled lowly for him to stop. Liu Gang stopped as she crouched making him do the same.
