CHAPTER 9

Exams are coming up soon, the guys and I have been studying a lot lately at the library not the clubhouse, there are a lot of distractions at the house.

We are fun teenagers but none of us wants to fail. We need to graduate, so we can leave this prison. Besides, I can't wait for Christmas. Yay!

I'm in the kitchen helping mum with the Thanksgiving dinner she is preparing. I love Thanksgiving and food so I am happy to help. The guys were coming over with their parents so yeah, the house is gonna be so full soon. Our parents have gotten close too, they talk a lot, it's kinda cool. Lou's dad and my mom have been the closest, I should ask mum about that.

The table as been set outside, it's a big table that can take 16 people. That's Mike, his parents, and his younger sis; Peter, his parents and his siblings a boy and a girl; Lou and his dad; Jake and his parents, his elder sis wasn't coming home for Thanksgiving, she was going to her boyfriend's place; my mom and myself.

Mum had gone up to change her clothes because they would all be arriving soon. She came downstairs an hour after looking soo good. She wore a red small strapped pencil dress that stopped just above her knees with black strap high heels, her hair center parted, fell on her shoulder with light make up on.

"Oh my, you look stunning" I said. She smiled and pecked my cheeks. "Thanks dear, now you go get ready, they would be here in less and 2 hours and you look like a mess" she said. I did look like a mess, my cloth was stained due to the food and my hair was sticking out everywhere. I smiled at her and ran up the stairs.

I first took a bath, to remove the dirt on my body and I then went to my walk in closet. I went to the back to look for a dress to wear. I hardly wear dresses except to dinners or company parties, I picked a dress from the back of my closet.

The dress I picked was black, and tight. It was also tiny strapped and it stopped mid thigh. I liked the dress because it shows my curves and a little cleavage. I parted my hair by the side and french braided it to the back. I made myself up, nothing too glamorous. I went nude on my face, except my lips, where I wore a bright red lipstick. I finished my look with a black heels, with transparent strap. I looked in the mirror after I was done and I liked what I saw. Satisfied with my look, I went downstairs.

"Wow,you look good. Ain't you happy I got you that dress now, huh?" she said smiling. I nodded and laughed. When she got me the dress, I didn't like it but now I do. It's a pretty dress.

We set the food outside because they would be here any minute. As I placed the turkey in the middle, the bell rang. "I'm gonna get it", mum shouted from the kitchen. I heard her open the door and the greeting ensued. I went to meet her at the door and greeted the parents. It's so weird how they all arrived at the same time, like it was planned or something.

"Where are the boys?" Mum asked.

"They were at the back when we were coming, Jake decided to drive them" Pete's mum answered. They all went to the backyard to talk about goodness knows what.

I went upstairs to get my phone, didn't wanna watch TV because if I do, I wouldn't wanna stand up. I took loads of selfies with my phone because I look good, posted pictures on IG. I was doing that when the bell rang for the second time tonight.

"Elly, go get it!" mum shouted from the backyard.

"OK!!" I shouted back. I went downstairs with my phone to answer the door.

I checked myself in the mirror by the foyer to be sure I still looked ok before opening the door. The boys clean up nice if I say so myself.

Pete whistled when he walked in clearly checking me out. "All that under baggy clothes?" he said. I hit his hand lightly, telling him to shut up.

Lou winked at me and smirked. "Check you out!!" he said still smirking.

"Wow, you look stunning" Jake said then winked at me.

Mike just stood there staring at me.

"Where's the food at!!"Lou shouted.

"Backyard"  and with that they all left. Except Mike whose eyes never left my body. I kinda feel exposed but I like that he can't get enough.

"Like what you see" I said smirking. "Yes" he answered immediately. I smiled. "Let's go, everyone is waiting for us" I told him. When he wouldn't answer, I took his hands and started dragging him to the backyard when he suddenly pulled me back and did the unexpected.

He kissed me.

I didn't expect it so I didn't kiss back at first, when it registered that he was actually kissing me, he was about to stop and pull away when I kissed him back. It felt different to me, I could feel the spark. It wasn't a slow soft kiss, it was rough and fast and full of passion. It's something I have wanted to do since I met him in the classroom.

When we pulled away, I smiled up at him and he smiled back at me looking me in the eyes. I don't think am ever gonna get enough of those eyes.

"We should go and meet the others" I told him. He nodded.

We started walking to the backyard when he whispered in my ears, "You should dress like this more, you look absolutely sexy".

"Okay" I replied before pecking him on the cheeks.

The dinner went my peacefully, we all laughed and joked and played, teasing each other. It makes me happy how everyone is at ease with each other, like a big happy family, which we kind of are. Anytime I look at Mike, I see him looking at me with a smile on his face and I smile back.

After eating, we all cleared the plates, Lou and Pete did the dishes while, Mike, Jake and I tidied where we ate outside. The parents went to the living room to watch a movie and talk.

The guys and I went upstairs while their siblings were playing tag outside. First time in my room, the guys just went to my bed, like it's their own. I went to the shower, locked the door since the guys were just outside, and took a shower before changing to my PJs which is simply a short and a crop top.

I joined the guys on the bed, they had removed their shirts and were watching a movie, and snuggled in the middle. Their parents left later but the guys decided to stay a while before leaving. They left past 11pm, after which I went to bed.

Mike's P.O.V

A/N: This is when they walked in.

The guys and I decided to drive to Elly's house together instead of with our parents because we didn't know whether we would be coming back with them.

We got to her house, pressed the bell. I swear I wasn't expecting what I saw. I expected Elly to wear are normal jeans with a long big top and her sneakers and her hair packed up in a messy bun as always. Instead she wore a black short gown that stopped mid thigh, her hair packed to the back and on heels! She looks soo stunning I thought to myself.

I could hear the others talk. Pete whistled when he walked in clearly checking her out which didn't seat well with me at all "All that under baggy clothes?" he said. She hit his hand lightly, and told him to shut up.

Lou winked at her and smirked. "Check you out!!" he said still smirking. I didn't like that.

"Wow, you look stunning" Jake said then winked at her. Okay, I'm officially jealous. I didn't know what to say, she just looks beautiful.

"Where's the food at!!" I heard Lou shout.

"Backyard"  she replied and they all left. Leaving me with her and I never took my eyes off her body.

"Like what you see" she said smirking. "Yes" I answered immediately not thinking twice about my answer, I definitely liked what I saw. She smiled.

"Let's go, everyone is waiting for us" she said. They could all wait, I didn't give a damn but I didn't answer. She took my hands and started dragging me to the backyard when I suddenly pulled her back to myself and I did it.

I kissed her.

I have always wanted to do that, and I did. She didn't kiss back at first and I thought she didn't like me like that. I was about to pull away when she pulled me back and kissed me back and boy was it good. We pulled away and she smiled up at me, I couldn't help it but smile back staring at those green eyes. God, I think I love this girl already.

"We should go and meet the others" she said. I just nodded.
