~Sometimes it's best not to say anything and let the silence take care of things~
Pink
When I open my eyes, the first thing I see is the ceiling. Since when did we change the wooden slats for a white ceiling? I stretch for a long time. That's when the events of this morning come back to me. The alpha!
I observe the large room in front of me. I've been captured by the alpha! I was fucking kidnapped! I have to leave here.
When I want to get up, something holds me back. I lift the blanket and stay stuck seeing an arm on my stomach. Oh my God ! I slowly turn my head, afraid I'm right.
I stare at the man lying on his stomach, one arm over mine. What the hell happened? Why is he sleeping here with me? I have to leave here. Take advantage of the situation to get out.
I gently touch his arm to pull it away, but at my touch, he tightens his grip. So I change tactics. I move to lie on my side.
- Stop moving ! he orders without moving
- Let me go then.
He sighs as he takes his arm away. Was it that easy? Was it enough to ask?
I do not dwell on it any longer and jump up. Having got up too quickly, I am dizzy. I sit on the edge of the bed staring at the floor. That's when I notice I'm not wearing my black jeans or my white top for that matter. I'm wearing a large white t-shirt that seems to hit me mid-thigh. Probably a man's t-shirt.
I don't remember changing. Nor have you come here. I don't remember anything except Julia's sad look.
I stare at the still sleeping alpha. Could it be he who changed me? I hope not.
- How come I'm not wearing my clothes anymore? I asked, puzzled.
- So that you sleep more peacefully, he answers sleepily.
- I don't remember changing.
- I did it for you, he simply admits.
I remain speechless. How could he afford to change me? Who does he think he is? I ignore the embarrassment and focus on the anger growing inside me. I stand up and look at him.
- We do not undress a person without his agreement! It's called to...
- For starters, I'm not NO ONE, but YOUR soul mate! he cuts me off as he sits on the bed. And finally, I don't have to report to you.
- Pardon ? I'm pointing out that this is my body so yes, you have to...
Someone knocks on the door, cutting me off. I turn towards the door. A woman comes in with a tray in her hand. She ignores me and places it on the nightstand to my right.
- Would you like anything else ?
- No, get out.
She nods and leaves the room. I watch him shock. Would a thank you be too much?
He turns his back to me and stretches. Despite myself, my eyes quickly roam his muscular back. I realize that I know nothing at all about this man. I find myself in the bedroom of a man whose name I don't even know.
- You should eat instead of staring at me.
My cheeks flush instantly. I look away and stare at the food on the tray. To say I'm not hungry would be lying. But...eating will come down to accepting this situation. However, it is not the case.
- No thanks.
- It was not a question.
He walks around the bed and opens a door behind me. A bathroom. I examine the board. These pancakes look very appetizing. And damn it, I'm gonna need some strength to get out of here. An empty stomach wouldn't help me.
I sit on the bed and start eating. I take the small sachet and observe it. Paracetamol.
The alpha ends up coming out with wet hair. Has he taken a shower yet? So fast ?
- Why is there paracetamol?
- For your headache.
- I don't have a headache, I contradict him.
"You should," he said, frowning.
- Why should I have a headache?
My question is answered by a memory. Arm pain. The syringe. They injected me with something. I stop eating and stand up suddenly, panicked.
- What did you inject me with?
- A sedative so you'll quickly go down a notch. Otherwise, I'm going to need it and believe me, you wouldn't want to see it.
His glare freezes my blood. I sit down and continue to eat without adding anything. Once finished, he gestures for me to follow him.
- I'm not going to leave this room in this outfit, I refused.
- Too bad, I had a nice view. He laughs, pointing to my chest.
I look down and notice that indeed my black bra was more than visible. By reflex, I cross my arms in front of my chest and watch him annoy. He's cheeky though!
Still with his mocking smile, he points to the door next to the bathroom. I head for it hoping to find my clothes from the day before.
I am speechless when I see the huge dressing room. A large counter under which a hundred shoes are placed is placed in the middle of the room. The left side is filled with men's clothing while the right side with women's clothing. All illuminated by LED lights hanging above. It is fabulous !
I don't know who owns these women's clothes, but I have no choice but to borrow them. I take the first things that come to hand, light blue jeans and a thin black sweater. They fit me perfectly too. This woman wears the same size as me.
We leave the room and walk down a long hallway. I watch the scene carefully. I would need it to escape.
We go down the stairs and find ourselves in a huge living room. A bay window on my right gives a breathtaking view of the forest around us. The decor is wooden, but remains very modern. A large fireplace is burning behind me. I would have liked to live here, but under different conditions. I have the impression of being in one of the salons of the architecture magazines that I read so much.
He sits on the big red armchair and I do the same, making sure to leave enough space between us. Before he can speak, I speak:
- Let me go. We do not even know each other.
- It's not a problem, we would have plenty of time.
I sigh staring at the floor. It turns out to be more difficult than I thought. Why is he so keen on me staying? He can't force me to stay here? That's what I thought too before he dragged me back here...
- Why do you want me to stay? I asked him. For what ?
- Because you are my soul mate and your place is next to me.
There's no way I'm staying here with this rude man. I still have studies to complete.
- My name is Damien, he begins, Justin and Brad are my betas. These are the only ones you need to know for now.
I remember the two men next to him.
- I'm the most powerful alpha there is, so beware. Now that we have to live together, I have rules. One: you don't try to run away, we are surrounded by the forest, it will be stupid of you. I will feel your presence the moment you set foot outside. Two ; you only mind your own business. Three: Don't ask me too many questions. Four: you NEVER disobey me. Unless you're suicidal.
- Will you kill me? dare I ask.
- Of course not, he answers as if it were obvious.
I nod my head. I thought for a moment that he would kill me. It was stupid.
- I would torture you until you beg me to kill you. But I wouldn't.
Torture me? I swallow hard. Fear resurfaces. What kind of psychopath am I dealing with? How can he promise to torture me with such a detached expression? This time for sure, I have to leave this place.
Julia wasn't joking that he was the cruelest. I no longer doubt it. I feel like this is a bad joke. What could I have done to deserve this? First the problems with my family and now this psychopath. I wonder if my father noticed my absence? I doubt not.
Damien leaves the living room without adding anything else. He was clear, if I try to escape, he will torture me. I don't doubt his intentions. Tears of hate flow down my cheeks. Is it not possible to have to live like this? My life is over. I was unhappy for 18 years with the hope that I could run away and be happy. And here I am captured by a man who thinks the world belongs to him! I just wanted to be happy. Finish my studies !
My gaze lands on the front door. I stare at her for a long time. If I go out, it will be my end. But if you stay, it will also be my end. Staying locked up here is mental torture.
Maybe I'm suicidal, or I'm just sick of life getting in the way. I open the door, wipe my tears and run towards the forest. If I have a small possibility of running away, then I will try it.
I don't stop and keep running. My legs are screaming at me to stop. My heart can no longer support such a cadence. The trees pass quickly. My lungs are burning.
I was about to slow down when a beastly moan sounded. I keep running until my legs finally let go. I fall violently to the ground.
I feel a large mass jump over my body to get in front of me. Trembling, I slowly raise my head. I hold my breath in front of the huge black wolf. My eyes stare into his, an azure blue. I try to back away, but he pulls his fangs out and I stop, scared.
- I wouldn't move, I tried to reassure him in a trembling voice.
