I laughed at what Fin said.

I pushed the cart to the milk section.

The mini bonding between our siblings ended peacefully yesterday with Aphrodite. And Van admitted to me that he was with Cleopatra. I don't know anything about that part, Van thought that I would be angry with him because he's with the ones I will marry but to be honest I don't care about them tho.

I was even happy to know that Cleopatra's parents will talk to Papa so that Van will marry her. I felt like a thorn in my throat disappeared when I found out that's why I volunteered to go grocery shopping that day when Van was supposed to do it.

As for Lit, of course, it's still painful for me that she's married but What can I do? It's already done.

I lined up at the counter to pay for everything I bought. After that, I left the grocery store and started walking to my car to put the things I bought.

After I put them in, I walked to the other side of the street where there was a cake seller, I don't know why Van chose Cake to bring to Cleopatra's house.

I entered the cake shop and ordered two cakes. One is for Van and the other is for my siblings. I waited for a few more minutes because they were still fixing the cake I bought, so I sat down on a chair at the Cakeshop.

I suddenly closed my eyes when I heard Lit's voice in my brain.

"Please don't do that," I whispered to myself. Even if it's just for a few minutes, please don't do it now. I don't want to cry here at the cake shop.

"Vaughn." I stood up and approached the counter.

"Vaughn." The woman at the counter called again.

I shook my head in response to Lit.

"No," I answered and turned away from her. I closed my eyes because of the annoyance I felt. Why can't I speak in front of her?

"Vaughn?" I looked again at the woman at the counter. That's mine.

I came over and paid for the cake I bought. When I looked at the place where I stopped Lit earlier, she was gone, that's why I left the Cake shop and almost passed out when I saw the heavy downpour. That's why I immediately teleported to the inside of my car and put the cake I bought to the side.

I looked ahead and remembered Lit again.

"Damn, maybe she doesn't have an umbrella," I said to myself so I immediately took the umbrella that was on my side and got out of the car. I opened the umbrella and walked to find Lit.

She can't be far away, Lit walks quite slowly so I know she's close.

I crossed again to the other side of the road where the cake shop is located and looked for Lit. I looked at the other corner where there was a waiting area and I was right, she was there. Sheltered in the waiting area while holding the cake she bought. I looked at the sandals she was wearing and was shocked to see that they had heels.

I teleported to her side and took a deep breath before cutting into her line. I saw her looking at me but I was only looking at the front.

"Von..." She called so I looked at her and smiled.

"It's raining heavily. Where will you be picked up?" I asked. She just stared at me so I laughed. She's cute.

I first folded the umbrella I was holding then leaned it against the wall of the waiting area and then took off the hoodie I was wearing and handed it to her.

"It's cold, you might get sick," I said. She looked at me.

"The clothes you are wearing are thin, so go ahead, put them on," I said. It took several minutes before she took it and put it on. I smiled so much.

I watched her while wearing my hoodie. She is beautiful.

"Where is the one who will pick you up?" I asked.

She looked away.

"N-no one will pick me up." She said that's why I swallowed.

"Why? Where is your husband?" I asked. She looked at me when I said the word 'your husband.'

"He's out of town. He's taking care of something for a while at his company." She said while looking at me. I just nodded and took a deep breath.

"Here's an umbrella." I cut off what she had to say. I gave her my umbrella and then hailed a taxi.

"Don't make your body weat because of the rain, you might get sick. Go home." I said. She accepted the umbrella I held out. She just looked at me so I talked to the taxi driver.

"Please drive her safely back to their house. She will just instruct the direction there." I said and looked at the driver's face carefully so that in case something happened I would know what his face was like.

"Get on board Lit. It's bad if you stay here any longer. The sun might suddenly rise." I said and looked at Lit who was just silently looking at me.

I smiled at her.

"I'm leaving. Bye." I said and teleported to my car. I immediately turned on the engine of my car and then drove to the side where I could see Lit. I saw how she got into the taxi that I called and it started right away.

I secretly followed that Taxi, to make sure that Lit don was okay because I didn't trust the driver. I was two cars away from that taxi so they didn't notice that I was following.

A few minutes passed and the taxi stopped in front of a large house. I watched as Lit got down and paid the driver.

I smiled when she used the umbrella I gave to her and the Hoodie she was wearing. I watched Lit go inside until she disappeared from my sight.

I'm here now... In front of Franco's house who is my best friend.

Lit was staying here, so she wasn't in the houses I went to.
