The Virgin Outcast Who Stole The Empress Heart

I bite my nails nervously as I tell my mind to calm down. It is not going to hurt. It's not going to hurt.. It's not going to hurt but why, why do I have to do the test? why can't she ask me herself?

I'm scared also embarrassed, doing the test means them seeing my private which I'm not comfortable with and I heard it's going to be four people in the room. I don't know if they're going to inflict any object in me since it is a test but I do hope the doctor won't.

My thoughts wander to five hundred miles away from where I'm currently am, I became unconscious of the real world which I don't fancy at all. If I at all want anything, it's to block all the murmurings and whispers beside me that seems to never end.

"Her Highness! One of the eunuch announced out loud which instantly brought me back to the present.

"What does she want?" I mused nervously and scared before standing up in respect even though the linen cotton is hiding my body

I prayed that she doesn't barge inside as i'm not her wife yet, but something in me knows she can come in if she wants to, I just hope that she respects me a little in front of her subjects because I'm not ready to face her yet.

"Her Royal Highness." one of her minister called trying to remind her that she is not supposed to be here yet but also trying to save his head as he didn't move to stand in her front but instead he's standing by her side where he began to bow while saying "Her Majesty" continuously and with a pleading tone.

I found myself fighting with my inner and outer scared self and at the same time, I comfort myself with the thought that even if she is a monster, she won't kill me because she wants me to be her wife.

"Her Royal Highness, Lady Kim Nana is preparing for the virgin test after which if she is confirmed virgin the wedding ceremony will begin. Please have some patience." The man plead again as the others behind him all keel then bow as they say.." Your Highness please have some patience!!" in unison.

"Enough!! She yelled making my heart jump in fear then she start moving towards me which cause my heart to start beating so fast.

"Ruyi." her mother called making her stop then turned to her with one eyebrow raised up in anger making me ask myself ..how did she even know that the Empress is in my chamber?

Oh god, so many people are in my chamber and they're scary.

Please mind, calm down ..relax, take a deep breath Nana, no one is going to hurt you. Just breathe in and then slowly breathe out.

"Ahh, this isn't working." I said in my mind then shiver as ice chill race straight through me. I started shutting my mind in other to keep my panic self at bare but then cringe a little when Royal mother started to speak again .. for a moment, I had totally forgotten that I have unwanted companies.

"Daughter it's against the tradition for the Empress to see her bride before the wedding and she hasn't taken the virgin test yet ..for us to know if there is even going to be a wedding or not." Queen mother said and I almost snorted at her choice of word ..tradition, she did said tradition as if all this whole thing isn't against it.

"Mother!" She called warningly making me realize that not even her mother can stop her from doing whatever she wants ..well here I am though, an outcast and a female so i guess that's the proof for me that she can do anything she wants.

"Also for her sake daughter. You're going to scare her off before the main wedding process will even begin." Royal mother said and that seems to stop her as her hands is now hanging loosely beside her, instead of opening the cotton like she intended to do.

"No virgin test. I can verify it myself."

"You can't! Her mother yelled just as the same time her subjects bow down and begin to plead "Her Royal Highness is wise and she will do the right thing!

"Enough!" She yelled making everyone to keep quiet, am sure even the ants too did.

"Daughter don't ..please; her mother said in a pleading voice as if realizing her earlier word of her can't do what she wants . "If you don't want people to question her then don't, It only going to be you, me, an elder and the doctor."

"No elder and I will agree to it." She said while looking at me but I know she can't see me fully as I can't quite well see her too because of the transparent cotton blocking our view but the amount I'm seeing makes me want to slap my face for thinking things I'm not supposed to.

"Daughter none of us will see anything but the doctor as there will be clothes covering her. Stop this possessiveness ..please?" Her mother plead but she didn't say anything, she just walk out of the door as her subjects or whatever that follows her around all stand and leave with her making me sign in relief.

"Strange way to say okay." I said in my mind then turn my head to see her mother looking at me furiously before she too leave the room. Instantly all the maids that knelt down when the Empress entered all stand up, some rush to me and started applying oils in my hair while the others dress me with the right attire for the virgin test making me cringe in my seat.
