Gabriella Monet POV

I looked around and saw some boys and girls seated waiting to be called for bidding.

They're my best friend Daphne sat. Daphne Ramiro, fair, Tall, brown long-haired, skinny, and has brown eyes like mine although mine is unique.

"Daphne" I called.

"Gabriella" she rushed to me and hugged and then she started complaining. " Typical Daphne".

"Gabby I hate this life, I can't believe we are going to start our slavery journey" she cried.

I pat her on the back and brush her hair gently with my fingers. "Everything will be fine"

"Hey, you" a short and plump woman pointed at me. "Come over here" she called.

"What do you want? Is kidnapping me not enough?"I questioned as she walked close to me.

She raised her hand and gave me a resounding slap. "Too much slap in a day".

"You are so rude," she said and then continued. "I'm madam Ruth, the lady in charge of the auction house"

"Sounds like a maid to me" I replied to her and rolled my eyes.

She pulled me by the hair towards a mirror. "You need to learn some manners slut or you will be killed"

"I don't care asshole" I smirked at her. She faces palmed herself, probably tired of my attitude.

"I won't hurt your face again cause you are pretty and you would attract a lot of money. Seat down I need to make up your face." madam Ruth pointed to a chair for me to sit down on.

I laughed out loud and everyone present watched me like I have lost my senses. When I finished laughing I faced her and pointed a finger at her face. "For your information, I refuse to barbie myself up so that I can be sold to some bloodsucking monsters."

"Remove your finger from my face or I'll cut it off." she threatened.

I smiled and remove my finger from her face. I didn't remove it cause I feel threatened but, because the conversation was getting boring.

"This is the world you live in young lady, you can't change it, "madam Ruth told me and pointed to everyone that's was in the room. "Your destiny is in the hands of your masters. As for you, I bet you won't last a day with this your lousy mouth."

"Well good luck with your wish, "I replied to her. She scoffed and walked away, probably tired of me. I walked back to Daphne who was still crying. "My best friend is weak"

"Gabby, please learn how to control your anger or they will kill you"

"I don't give a damn Daphne. I prefer to die than become slaves to some bloodsuckers" I told her and sat down on a chair.

"Gabby" she sat down beside me and hugged me." I don't want you to die yet," she said and I patted her on the back.

"Hello girls" a red-haired girl walked to us and sat beside us. "I saw what you did earlier, I'm Victoria"

"Gabriella and this is my friend, Daphne "

"Hi" Daphne waved at her and she waved back.

"You are really pretty Gabriella. I bet you would be picked by some lovely and rich vampires" Victoria said and stared at me

"Really? I'm pretty"I thought silently. "Who cares? I don't want to be picked by those blood-sucking demons"

"Everyone should come now for their tags. I repeat everyone should come now for their tags" a voice announced.

"Girls I think it's time to face our destiny," Victoria said and stand up.

They began to give us tags and I was number 30. As we stand waiting for our turns, some group of guards walked past us and mocked me.

"You should know this is a place for people of high class. At least put some makeup on, "They mocked.

"Are you fucking stupid or you don't have any sense at all" I retorted. Daphne pinched me to stop me from talking but I wasn't going to back down. "Scram," I said to them, they just laughed and walked away. "Fools"

"Gabriella, please learn how to control your anger "she whispered.

"I don't give up Daphne. You should know that by now."I told her. They continued calling the names and when it got to Daphne's turn, she gave me the final hug and walked to the stage. I heard the speaker introducing her and then I heard the word sold to royal prince kyle. "Goodbye Daphne".

"Gabriella Monet" they called but I refused to move until some guards pushed me to the auction stage. The light on the stage almost blinded me as I walked to the middle of the stage.

"She is a beauty isn't she, "the speaker said and the vampires cheered.

I couldn't see the vampires from where I stood because the light was too bright. But I knew that I was in a room filled with vampires.

"Gabriella Monet, 20 years old, a virgin and a rare blood type AB negative. Let start the bidding" he announced.

"$80,000"

"$120,000"

"$300,000"

I was burning with rage where I stood as the vampires bid on me like I was an item. I rushed to the speaker and grabbed the microphone from him."

"Shut the fuck up all of you" I shouted and the hall went silent. "You all are crazy, do I look like some items that's can be sold. I think you all need to be treated in the brain so that you all can have humanity in you"the vampires all began to murmur amongst themselves. "Shut up you..."I didn't get to finish my speech as I was kicked by two guards. The microphone in my hand dropped on the floor.

One slapped me, the other kicked me hard in my stomach. Blood emerges from my mouth as a result of the kick to my stomach.

The announcer grabbed the microphone on the ground and laughed at my situation. "You need to have some manners girl. If not for your beauty, I would have ordered you killed."

I seat up and wiped the blood off my mouth. "Why don't you go ahead asshole?"I have kicked again but I didn't back down. "All of you should go to hell" I yelled. I was about to get kicked again when a voice sounded.

"Stop!! I'll buy her for 1 million dollars," someone said from the crowd and walked to the stage.

I looked up at the buyer and frowned. "who the hell waste a lot of money on someone like me. Someone dumb maybe. "I thought.

The buyer smirked like he heard what I just said. He looks tall and from where he stood I could see his bulging muscle coming out of the tuxedo he wore.

"She is a problem, my prince. Can you cope with her?" the speaker said as he looked at me.

"So he is a prince. Fuck him"

The prince looked at me again and smiled. "I can cope with her"the prince replied.

"Sold to prince Slade," he announced.

"Time to go slave "he pulled me up but I pushed his hand away.

"I told you she is a pain in the neck," the speaker said.

"Don't worry, I can deal with her. Connor!! "The prince called a guy beside him.

"Yeah, my prince" he bows.

"Take her to the car," he ordered. Two guards pulled me outside the auction into a white limo. The prince entered and sat down beside me.

"Hey Mr driver guy, where are you taking me to?"I wiped the blood that was trailing down my lips away and faced the driver.

"My name is Connor not Mr driver guy" the driver replied.

"Who cares?"I scoffed and turned to face the prince who stared at me like a lost puppy. "What? Happy that I have blood on my lips"

"Is your name Bianca? "

"Ask from Mr driver guy" the prince slapped my face that's was already bruised due to too much slapping. "How dare you sucker?"I yelled.

"You don't talk to me anyhow slave. I'm the prince of all vampires and your master. I demand some respect!" he shouted.

"You are talking to me or Mr driver's guy. Get respect from your freaking brain prince..."

The prince stared at me again and smiles like he won a parcel or something. "Stop staring at me like a dummy prince," I told him. He held my neck which causes me to choke and shouted in my face.

"You are going to face some punishment Bianca if you don't learn some respect."

I looked at him and spat on his face. He let go of my neck to touch his face.

"Well, I don't care about respect because I suck at that and my name is not Bianca, prince..."

The prince screamed as his eyes turned golden, his fangs came out and he pulled me closer and looked at my neck. He sniffed me before sinking his fangs into my neck. I let out a deafening scream and tried to push him off me. "Let me go!!!"I scream and tried to push him off, but he was too strong and he sucked my blood like some chocolate drink. I couldn't keep my eyes open as my vision became blurry and I blacked out.
