The mysterious forest.

Crystal's point of view

As I strolled along the forest, I sensed the chilly breeze nibbling at my flesh. " Hello!" I shouted, which resounded in the creepy ambiance. I walked along a slender track leading further into the forest as I sensed an unusual force emanating from the surroundings.

I ventured further into the forest, and I could sense the satisfying rustle of dry foliage and small branches being crushed beneath my footsteps. Only a handful of leaves were valiantly clutching the branches, while the trees were otherwise bare.

The forest floor was adorned with unusual designs as the sun's radiance filtered through the towering branches. It felt as though I was experiencing an entirely different reality.

Out of nowhere, a faint sound of rustling caught my attention from behind. I whirled around frantically, my heart pumping rapidly, yet there was no sight of anything.

I shook my head in disapproval, recognizing my excessive suspicion. "What is wrong with me?" I asked aloud as I mentally slapped myself.

I proceeded on my way as the sound of rustling persisted. I became increasingly uneasy as the sound grew louder and drew nearer. Despite increasing my speed, the sound persistently pursued me. I felt as though I was being followed by some unknown entity; I was indeed very terrified.

At that moment, the sound of a broken twig caught my attention from behind, and I swiftly turned around, prepared to confront whatever approached me. I caught sight of a diminutive and fuzzy being hastily making its way out of view.

I released a breath of ease and felt foolish for allowing myself to be consumed by my own imagination. Again, I scoffed at my fearfulness.

As soon as I caught a glimpse of a familiar visage, the frigid atmosphere no longer seemed menacing.

With excitement, I ran towards him and shouted his name, "Derek!" As I laid my hand on his shoulder, he suddenly inhaled sharply and swiftly shifted his body away from me.

"Crystal, what are you doing here?" He asked in a surprised tone.

Feeling unsettled by the blood on his face, I responded by saying that I had happened upon the location without any clear understanding of how I got there.

Out of concern, I inquired about his well-being by asking, "What happened to you?"

"Shhhh!" he whispered, nervously scanning the surroundings.

The encroaching darkness began to envelop us, perceptible to my senses.

"Did you hear that?" He asked in a terrified voice, and I responded with anxiety, shaking my head.

Derek suddenly grabbed my hand and urged me to run as we raced further into the forest, trying to escape the ominous being that was chasing us.

In due course, the malevolent entity caught up with our pace, and Derek bravely shielded me before being flung aside by the beast.

I found myself in solitude with the creature, a colossal being whose eyes were aglow with the intensity of fiery flames. I readied myself for my demise as an immense axe was lifted to strike me.

Suddenly, a sword materialized and diverted the attacking weapon in the midst of its motion. The mysterious silhouette disappeared suddenly, just as it had appeared.

I found that I was in the presence of an unknown person without any company. I strained my eyes, attempting to discern the identity of the enigmatic man wielding a sword, but it was somewhat indistinct.

I vigorously rubbed my eyes and widened them further.

Right before me stood the person who had just saved me from that monster. With better clarity, he was now more visible to me.

He had an exceptionally tall stature, possibly exceeding 6 feet and 4 inches, characterized by a fair complexion, deep brown locks, piercing blue eyes, and remarkable attractiveness. Retract the previous statement, as he was extremely attractive.

Dressed entirely in black, he had on a flowing leather jacket that reached all the way down to his knees.

He focused his gaze on me with great intensity; however, those blue eyes seemed all too familiar.

I racked my brain trying to recall his face and finally made the connection to where I had encountered him previously.

"Oh my goodness!" The handsome gentleman from the club had made an appearance.

As I gazed at him with suspicion, I wondered to myself, "Why was he here?" Silent and composed, he returned his sword to its case and started to leave without voicing a single word.

"Just a moment!" I exclaimed. "May I know who you are?"

"What is happening, and can you please inform me about this place?" I stood up anxiously and scanned my surroundings with an air of fear, questioning what was happening.

He suddenly stopped walking, startling and causing me to gasp in fear. I instantly took a cautious step backwards.

Mustering a little courage, I attempted to approach him for an explanation, but he disregarded me and kept walking.

I pursued him in a state of urgency, yet he swiftly vanished into the woods.

This is weird, and why is he ignoring me?

I cast my eyes around and discerned no trace of Derek. It was as if he had disappeared into thin air.

Not so much as a chirping bird in the vicinity could be heard, causing me to experience intense fear and conclude that affiliating with the enigmatic and attractive man was the wiser and more secure option.

Ultimately, he rescued me.

Having made up my mind, I quickly pursued him.

"Kindly hold on for a moment, please!"I exclaimed in a panicky tone. "Don't leave me here." I pleaded earnestly, dashing after him in a haste.

Despite my attempts to catch up, he continued on into the depths of the forest without acknowledging me. His strides were quick and majestic, and I found it hard to keep up with him.

I yelled with full force, "Don't go too far!" I watched fearfully as he gradually vanished from my sight.

"Oh no, don't leave me here, please," I pleaded as I quickened my pace.

"Stop!" I cried out just before abruptly awakening with a jolt.
