Subtitle : THE WEDDING
"What have you done?" Kim's voice boomed and the next thing Amelia felt was another hot slap on her cheek.
"I'm sorry mother." Amelia cried as she fell to her knees.
"You're sorry?" Kim scoffed.
She looked at Amelia with so much hate in her eyes, one wouldn't believe she gave birth to her due to the way she treats her.
"Sorry won't solve this problem, you've made the biggest mistake of your life and now you'll have to pay for that mistake you useless girl." Kim screamed.
Robert, Amelia's father couldn't do anything, he only stood there, watching the whole scenario. He felt like hitting Amelia again too, but he was holding himself back.
"Please mom, I'll accept any punishment you give to me, just please forgive me mother, I made a mistake, I'm sorry." Amelia cried.
"You're right Amelia, you caused this, so you'll suffer the consequences of your foolishness." Kim said with gritted teeth.
Amelia raised her head to look at Kim.
"What's your punishment mother?" Amelia asked.
Kim stared deeply into Amelia's eyes, and the next thing Kim said broke her.
"You'll have to get married to Dylan Harper."
"W what?" Amelia stuttered, then she stood up.
"N no mother, please, you can't do this, I can't get married to him, please mother, reconsider this, he'll kill me if he finds out."
"And that's your problem, I don't care what happens to you, you made the mistake, so you'll have to pay for it, you'll be getting married in place of Jenner, and there's nothing you can do about this, if you do anything to ruin this, then I swear to God I'll be the one killing you instead, I won't think twice about piercing your heart with a knife, mark my words." Kim said with gritted teeth.
She eyed Amelia dangerously, then she left.
Robert stared at Amelia, his eyes held so much hate and disappointment in them.
"You're a mistake and a disappointment, you should never have been born, you've ruined everything, and you'll pay for it." Robert spat, then he left also.
Amelia dropped to her knees, she now regrets ever helping Jenner to elope, just for this mistake, she'll suffer the consequences for the rest of her life.
The thought of a miserable future flashed through her eyes, and she wept bitterly.

Dylan was staring at his bride from the corner of his eyes, he was glad that he'll be getting married to the most beautiful lady in town.
"Do you, Jenner Harper, take Dylan Blackwood to be your husband?" The priests said in a loud voice.
Amelia didn't answer, her heart was beating so fast, she was sweating profusely, her mother has strictly warned her not to take her veil off until she gets to Dylan's home.
She was already imagining what Dylan will do to her when he finds out the truth, what will happen to her when he finds out he was married to her, the ugly one and not her beautiful sister.
Dylan frowned deeply, his bride was taking so much time to answer and it was getting on his nerves, he was a man with little patience.
The priest cleared his throat loudly, then he repeated his question.
"Do you, Jenner Harper, take Dylan Blackwood to be your husband?"
Dylan nudged her arm, bringing her back to reality.
"I i do." Amelia stuttered.
A small smile appeared on Dylan's lips.
"Do you, Dylan Blackwood, take Jenner Harper to be your wife?."
"I do." Dylan said hastily.
"Do you vow to be with each other for the rest of your lives, for better for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish each other, until death do you both part?"
"I do." Dylan answered.
"I do." Amelia answered.
The priest smiled.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride." The priest said, and the congregation began cheering and clapping so loudly.
"You may now kiss the bride." The word kept on ringing in Amelia's ears as she slowly turned to face Dylan.
"Oh no, I can't let this happen, Dylan must not see my face, not yet." She panicked.
Dylan's face was void of any emotions, one couldn't tell what was going on in his mind.
He slowly took the hem of Amelia's veil, he was about to lift her veil up when Amelia held his hand, stopping him from lifting her veil.
Dylan furrowed his brow in confusion, isn't she supposed to let him lift her veil, why is she stopping him.
"P please." Amelia stuttered.
"What's wrong with you?" Dylan said softly.
His voice was deep and calm, but you could still note the authority his voice carries when he speaks.
"The new bride must be so shy." Someone yelled from the crowd.
"Is that why you're preventing me from lifting your veil? Because you're shy?" Dylan asked. Amelia nodded.
He sighed, then he let go of her veil.
Dylan bent to whisper something in her ear.
"You can stop me from lifting your veil now, but you won't be able to stop me from claiming you as my wife when the time comes." He said, then he stood straight.
Amelia's heart skipped a beat, she couldn't tell what he meant by those words, she wasn't in the right frame of mind at the moment, she was wishing she could turn back the hands of time, she wouldn't have helped Jenner in the first place.
Her mother and father didn't even come to the wedding, but she must have guessed Dylan didn't care, maybe he didn't notice, because he didn't ask her anything about them, or even if he had noticed, maybe he didn't just want to ask, after all, he must be thinking he's got what he wanted, so there's no need to bother himself about asking for her parents.
Sadly, he got what he wanted, but not who he wanted.
