"Uhmm... Dads, Alexio's father came around today and we talked. He proposed to me and I said yes. I saw that I cannot live without Alex so i decided to get married to him to be close to my boy" Sheila announced

"that is the most flimsy excuse i have heard in the history of excuses young lady" Young furrowed his brow

"Is this man not married?" Charles asked

"he is a widower dad"

"just right everyday you come up with stupid things Sheila, when will your life ever be normal?" Bromeo scoffed

"Sheila darling do not tell me it is thesame hot devil that threatened your life three days ago"

"what hot devil and why were you threatened?" Young asked

"Sheila came into the book store looking really disturbed, she said Alexio's father came around and threatened her"

"Sheila!" Charles said angrily

"Dad I promise you he apologised and we sat down in his office and talked over coffee" she lied

"What is this guy's name?" Rafeal asked

"Daxiane Turez"

"Turez? Turez?.... as in the richest business man in Europe and Italy?" Bromeo asked, he seemed excited

"yes I guess" Sheila answered

"damn guys do you guys know what this means? we are going to be rich as fuck!" he yelled excitedly

"UHHHmmm... durrrh... we are not poor and besides I am not getting married to him for his money. it is for Alex remember?"

"You see that is the problem with you....." Bromeo was saying but was cut short by Charles

"shut up son. Sheila is this what you really want?"

"YES dad, Alex comes first before me"

***The next day, Daxiane was having a fun time with his daughter when he got a call from Sheila. He was hesitant to pick up.

"Daddy, Is that Sheila?" Alexia queried

"No, just business" He lied and put the phone down "I don't want anything to distract us" he smiled and smooched her cheeks. They were in the beach. Every Saturday he made it a duty to hang out with his daughter because the week was always busy.

"Daddy, what's Sheila like?"

"You asked this question when we were at Grandma's"

"And you said she's not tall. Most people in this world aren't tall Daddy. Tell me something else" --Daxiane huffed and thought hard, what is she like? He sighed.

"Errrr she's red headed" he shrugged, Alexia rolled her eyes

"Really?"

"Well, she's uhmm part Jewish"

"Dad" she let out a frustrated sigh.

"What? I can't go on observing her features. When you see her, you'll know what she looks like"

"When are we going to see her?"

"Tomorrow probably" Just then, his phone rang again, he checked the ID... Sheila again. 'give up already Robin' he groaned inwardly. He decided to take the call so that his ears would rest.

"Robin"

"The name is Sheila" she said over the phone

"What is it? Does Alex need something?"

"Errr that's why I'm his mother. I didn't call you five years ago, what makes you think I would do that now"

"You didn't call me because you didn't have my number" he smirked

"You're annoying"

"What is it? Or did you miss me?"

"I...I told my family about us and they agreed for us to get married. My parents want you to come over for dinner" she fidgeted with her fingers and bit her bottom lip, she was expecting a turn down from him

"When?"

"Tomorrow evening"

"Okay, I am coming with my daughter"

"You have a daughter?" She asked, surprised

"Yes, she wants to get to know you. Seems she likes you already. Here talk to her" he said and handed Alexia the phone, she happily took the phone from him.

"Hey Sheila. Are you going to be my mom?"

"Hey...good morning. What's your name?"

"Alexia Turéz"

"That's a nice name, I like it"

"Thank you. I like yours better, you didn't answer me though, Will you be daddy's wife?"

"Yes I guess" she answered

"I can't wait to have you in our family, you and my baby brother"

"Me too"

"Sheila, please love my daddy. I swear he is a cool person but he can be stubborn and rigid sometimes" Alexia pleaded. Daxiane took the phone from her hands before Sheila had the chance to reply the little girl, he then ended the call.

"Daddy" she whined

"That's was a little forward don't you think" he arched a brow

"She seems nice daddy, just love her. It can't be so hard can it?" She rolled her eyes.

"Stop rolling your eyes at me young woman. You're too young to understand how the heart works. And for the umpteenth time Alexia I'm not getting married for my Gain."

"But dad...." She tried to convince him but he hushed her

"Not another word on this, come on let's go get some ice cream"
