chapter : 2

Nik.

"signore sono le 7 del mattino" ( sir its 7 am) my butler says interrupting my workout. it's 7 already? "Grazie Rico, Voglio uova e salsicce italiane al forno per colazione" (thanks Rico, I want Italian baked eggs and sausage for breakfast) nick orders as he completes the last pushup."va bene signore"(okay sir)Rico says then leaves the workout room. Nik walks to his room with an emotionless face as the servants and members bow down to him. he enters his shower after throwing the workout clothes in the laundry.

nik sighs as the hot water hits him, he leans forward resting both of his hands on the tiles below the showerhead. His blonde hair now wet covers his eyes, the water relaxes his muscles. after the shower nick blow-dries his hair and runs his hand through them creating a messy look. nik enters his walking closet and looks through them and decides to wear his black jeans and a black t-shirt. nick wears his

black combat boots and takes his black leather jacket out. he walks to the floor-length mirror in his room. tattoos covered his both arms and neck and chest. he nods checking himself out and walks downstairs. "Buongiorno"(good morning) he greets his parents. Nik's mother who is Italian American made a rule that everyone should talk Italian in the house. "Buongiorno" Matteo and Rachel reply. nik takes a seat next to his father who sat at the head of the table. Rachel to his left and nik to his right.one of the kitchen staff brings nik his breakfast.

"hai, Parlato con Loki Degli Ivanov?"(did you talk to Loki about the Ivanov's?) nick asks his father. Matteo nods as he cuts the bacon in his plate "si ho parlato con Loki, Gil Ivanova chiedono il 70%" Matteo replies(yes I talked to Loki, the Ivanov's are demanding 70%).

nik scoffs "70%! per favore dimmi che non sei d'accordo, padre" (70%! please tell me you are not agreeing father) Matteo rolls his eyes "Forse sto invecchiando ma il mio cervello sta ancora lavorando Niklaus uno dei nostri informatori dice che gli ivanvo stanno progettando di fare il doppio gioco con noi" (I maybe growing old but my brain is still working Niklaus. one of our informer says that ivanov's are planning on double crossing us).

nik smirks "Immagini che farò una piccola visita alla loro famiglia" (I guess I'm going to play a little visit to their family) Matteo nods with a dark smile "assicurati di portare con te dei regali" (make sure to take some gifts with you). After discussing few more plans nick walked in his garage "quale macchina vorrebbe portare signore?" (which car would you like to take sir?) nik hums as he looks at his cars. "dammi le chiavi di koenigsegg ccxr trevita nero e rosso" nik orders (give me the keys of koenigsegg ccxr trevita black and red) He hops in his car and starts driving to his school. nik's phone rings. He answers the phone.

"nik I took care of the fuckers who messed with the drug deal," Ryan's voice says from the Bluetooth connection with the car. "and the boss?" he asks "Yes. took care of him too" Ryan answers. nik stops at a signal and sighs looking out his window "we have a mission involving the Ivanov's" nik says starting outside. A red Centodieci stops next to him. He bites his lip checking the car out. he remembered ordering a black Centodieci last week. nik realizes that the car owner was a female, he smirks impressed I didn't know girls had a good taste in cars. nik tries to look at the female driver but before he could get a better look the car zooms off.

nik sees the signal green "hey nik! you there?" Ryan yells making nik remember he was on a call "yeah man, I will tell you more about it at school" nik answers and cuts the call. nik drives to school and parks his car. he gets out of the car to get usual stares which makes him smirk cockily. Ryan approaches nik who was staring at the red Centodieci "Nice wheels, right?" Ryan says announcing his presence.

nik jumps by the sudden appearance of Ryan. maybe it is the same car? "whose is it?" nik asks Ryan. "There is a new chick and she is hot," Ryan says and adds "and Adam called dibs on her" and nik rolls his eyes. like that would stop me. Ryan was the most silent one in the group. you won't even know that he is standing near you unless he talks and announces his presence. nik remembers the number of times Ryan sacred the shit out of him by appearing like that.

Then there are the twins Jacob and Jason. Both are a pain in the ass for nik. They act like children and get distracted easily in the Missions, and they love to push his buttons. then there is Marcus who joined the gang recently. Marcus is a tech genius nik tolerated Marcus the most as he kept to himself and when nik needed him to hack somebody he was there. Marcus approaches the two of them "hey guys!" Marcus says giving a high-five to both of them. "hey Marc" they both reply.

"so I heard there is a mission," Marcus says and nik nods " yeah I will tell you about it but where are the twins?, Ryan do I have to specially tell you to forward the news about the mission?" nik snaps at Ryan who rolls his eyes. "I told them, "Ryan says. nik sighs running his hand through his hair "well where are they?" nik asks frustrated. "Jacob is banging Tessa in her car," Ryan says, nik raises his eyebrow "and Jason saw a squirrel and went after it" Ryan finishes making nik sigh. "well find them and if they you don't find them you both will be on cleaning duty!" nik snaps then walks away from the two.

Mia.

As she was making her way to class she bumped into someone more like a wall. mia looks up and spots a familiar face, Marcus. "Marci!" mia exclaims hugging him tightly. Marcus chuckles lifting her off the ground. "Alexi!" Marcus says putting her on the ground. "I missed you so much," Marcus says looking down at her. mia was 5'2, pretty short from everyone she knew. well, she is taller than Erica who is going to preschool. Marcus stood tall at the height 6'0 and towered over her small frame. "I missed you too giant," mia says and slaps his arm. "hey!" Marcus says rubbing the spot she hit.

"you go to this school!, you didn't tell me! "mia says glaring at him. "surprise surprise," Marcus says and adds "Well if I told you I wouldn't get that reaction from you". He says smiling. Marcus is her best friend along with Brooke. they were the three musketeers. But 4 years ago he shifted here. they were still in touch. video calls texts.

mia was very happy to see him." hey earth to Alexi" Marcus waves his hand in front of her. Alexi was the nickname Marcus gave her due to her middle name Alexandria ."Alexi !" Marcus shakes mia's arm. "Yeah," she says paying attention to him." what class do you have first?" he asks."Science" she replies. Marcus was still looking for Jason, he didn't want to be on cleaning duty. cleaning duty involved cleaning up the interrogation room, which was more like a torture chamber. the blood, guts, fingers, and nails. Marcus puked in his mouth as he thought about cleaning duty. Marcus's phone starts beeping he fishes to out and sees Jason is somewhere near.

"Alexi, I have to go, but let me drop you off the class first," Marcus says as beeping gets louder. mia rolls her eyes "go! that looks like something important," mia says pointing to his phone. "Hey it's fine, I will drop you off then" Marcus gets cut off by mia." go," mia says pushing him away. "you sure I can take you to class," he says. "Marci I have a map of the school. chill" mia says. Marcus bites his lip "Sure" he asks again." yeah" mia says walking backward. "the class is that way" Marcus says pointing to her right. mia chuckles "okay now scram," she says he was hesitated but walks away. The bell rings making mia walk faster. everyone scrambles away to there class, bumping into her for few times. where the hell is the class? she does a happy dance when she finds the room, mia peaks in to see a chubby bald man with a beard.

she knocks on the door and hears a "come in" mia opens the door with a nervous smile and walks in All the attention was at her. they were looking at her as if she is an alien . " you are late" the man says. mia looks around to see everyone writing something down."thanks for that captain obvious" she mutters. which she said loudly making the class laugh and receive a glare from the chubby man. she quickly looks at her schedule, Mr. Anderson. hm. he ignores her comment and looks at her "you are new?" Mr. Anderson asks. "did you ever see me in this school before?" mia asks and the man shakes his head. "you have your answer" mia says shrugging.

"Introduce yourself, "he says. introduce? hell no." Nah I am good " she replies, she hears her classmate laughs and sees a glare from the man "geez fine." mia mutters and turns to look at the class, she gives a big smile "Hey! I'm mia Thompson and I have moved here from Mexico," mia says looking at the classmates." Take a seat and next time don't be late" Mr. Anderson says and mia finds few vacant seats. one was next to a jock who was eyeing her like a predator, one was in the middle of the class. she smiles as she spots a seat near the window at the very back.

she walks to that seat and sits down and whispers start making her frown. Now, what happened. it was stopped by a bang as the door opens and a blonde guy walks in.boy he was gorgeous. he looked about 6'3 and the black t-shirt get wore hugged him perfectly. mia could tell there would be a six-pack under the T-shirt. mia notices he was wearing total black and a tattoo were peaking out from his neck. "you are late". Mr. Anderson says." I know" he replies and looks at her. mia's cheeks flush from the embarrassment of getting caught looking at him. he smirks as he runs his eyes up and down my figure. he wanted to know that he was looking at her. he wets his lips and his eyes darken. mia breaks the eye contact as she feels a shiver ran down her neck.

The blonde walks to her and stops in front of her. she looks up to find him starring at her "you are in my seat " he says in a deep voice. which made mia squirm in her seat. she could sense some accent in his voice which made his voice hotter." So?" mia asks leaning back. mia could feel everyone's eyes on them which she ignored. He smirks a playful smirk "get up" nik says looking at her." No" mia replies making nik frown. "Okay let's try again get up" he orders. "No," mia says glaring at the blonde." this is my seat," he says childishly. "What are you five go find another seat" she replies rolling her eyes."You don't who are you talking to kitten" nik warns glaring at her. the glare caused chills in her spine but turned her on. she scoffs at him. "obviously stupid today is my first day! I don't know you or anyone." mia says.

"you better watch your mouth kitten," nik says and mia raises her eyebrow "what are you going to do about it?" mia taunts."I will put your mouth for good use," nik says making mia gape at him. "shut the fuck up asshole". really? shut the fuck up? can't you do better than that? her conscience screamed at her."Stop it both of you". Mr. Anderson says " Mr. Knight takes another seat". Nik Let's out a frustrated breath and looks at the boy next to me, and barks "get up". the boy and mia jump at the deadly tone. the guy quickly took everything and scrambled to find another seat. she sat at her place again. he sat next to her. For the whole period, she could sense someone glaring holes at her face.
