Summary

“Seventy-two mating positions,” she smirks. With my husband. He once swore I’d be his Luna for life. That same night, he crawled into her bed. Now he’s on his knees, begging for forgiveness. And me? I’m signing the Severance Ritual— our souls, completely severed. Let her have him. He’s learning the price of losing me. As for me— I never planned to look back.

Chapter 1

My fingers trembled as I dialed the identity erasure agency, but my voice remained steady. "I want to disappear completely. Make sure no one can ever find me."

The television flickered across the room, showing Eric's coronation ceremony as the Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack. His golden eyes sparkled with pride as he spoke into the microphone, his voice carrying that familiar warmth that once made my heart race.

"I dedicate this Alpha position to my beloved mate, Luna Isabella," he declared, his hand pressed over his heart in the traditional werewolf gesture of devotion.

A bitter laugh escaped my lips as I watched him perform for the cameras. How perfectly he played the devoted mate, when just three months ago I'd caught his scent mingled with another she-wolf's in our sacred bonding ground.

I remembered the warning I'd given him on our mating day, my hand gripping his as we exchanged blood under the full moon. "Eric, if you ever betray our mate bond, I will vanish from your world forever."

He had laughed then, pulling me closer, his wolf eyes gleaming with sincerity. "Never, Isabella. You are my one and only Luna."

Those words felt like poison now. For three months, I'd been meticulously planning my escape, using every resource available to a true Luna. The mate bond gave me certain privileges, certain rights that even an Alpha couldn't revoke.

I reached for the elegantly wrapped gift box on my desk, feeling the weight of the mate severance contract inside. The moonlight streaming through my window seemed to approve of my decision, casting silver shadows across the document that would end everything.

The agency representative's voice crackled through the phone. "Ma'am, once we complete the process, there will be no way back. Are you absolutely certain?"

I closed my eyes, feeling Eric's betrayal like a physical wound in my chest. The bond between us pulsed weakly, tainted by his infidelity. "Yes. I want to be completely erased from the werewolf world."

As I hung up, Eric's voice continued from the television, promising his pack a bright future with his "cherished Luna" by his side.

If only he knew his Luna was about to become nothing more than a ghost.
